With a regular Drone AI, Caine may be able to recognise them as another AI construct. Or potentially not. Episode 2 showed that Caine is a bit of a dumb AI, in that there's the potential of him mixing up human intelligences with NPCs.
With a Drone AI that is a host of the Solver of the Absolute Fabric, things get exponentially more fricky (see what I did there?). There's no telling how things may go, but I really doubt that Caine would understand what the frick was going on. Humans in the 31st century in the Murder Drones universe were completely struggling to understand what the Absolute Solver even is, and an AI that is a host of it is regularly able to defy laws in both the physical and digital world.
Caine is a pretty one-track AI. Sure, while he can deal with things like Abstracted human minds and glitches, this sort of thing may be a bit out of his capability to understand. Caine doesn't come across as a very adaptive AI. Hell, he can't even comprehend new concepts presented to him that don't fall in line with the game world of the Digital Circus, such as the concept of an exit to the game. Would Caine even understand the concept of a third-party entity which isn't human manifesting within the game world?
I thought Liam Vickers sounded familiar, but then I saw the mouths on those robots, and immediately thought back to that one cartoon with the Spider girl. He really has a hard on for girls that can murder you and eat you.
I want to see the pilot's original storyboard. I've only ever seen snippets of it, and it was neat seeing it in the style of Internecion Cube: done in Liam's 2D brand all the way.

In MD, the entire point of the existence of the Murder Drones is the gradual reveal of their relation to AbsoluteSolver. The initial plot thread that is presented of the Murder Drones being sent by humans/JcJensen is "abandoned" because it is an in-universe LIE. It was never true, it is a false story that was perpetuated by the Solver to manipulate N, V and J and make them think they were produced and sent by the company who they are getting their orders from. Throughout the entire show, the true purpose of the Murder Drones is extremely important as it is eventually shown that they have done this exact thing on other planets previously which the Solver then consumed. It's never fricking abandoned, the scope of the story is widened in a series-long reveal.

I'd have to say probably Murder Drones. I haven't seen Sunset Paradise but it doesn't look like it interests me at all especially since it's apparently just SMG4 shit. Meta Runner was okay but its age shows and I like TADC.

We don't know that for certain to be honest. It SEEMS like Tessa may have had a close relationship with Cyn at first. There are two possibilities, either the Solver took Cyn immediately after Cyn reawoke as a zombie drone and from that point it was always the Solver puppeting Cyn's body - or it was a case of the Solver more gradually making Cyn into a husk and a puppet.
You could go with either interpretation depending on how you look at things. Bare in mind, the Solver contacts and speaks with Cyn through text on her visor when Cyn first wakes up. This is actually Cyn here, she looks scared under that pile of corpses. Whatever the case, it definitely wasn't that the Solver immediately hijacked a dead drone and started puppeting it around.
Cyn was aware, was manipulated into accepting a deal from the Solver to let it inside, and by the time of the Gala Cyn was a complete puppet of the Solver. That's all we really know for certain.

The Solver said "I will not discard you" to Cyn. It then also said this to Tessa before the Gala. It means this completely literally. It's not being nice and trying to protect them or anything, it genuinely means that it will use them and never them let them go. Even if it means using Cyn as a puppet and Tessa as a horrific flesh suit. Putting Cyn and Tessa together forever as an amalgamated abomination was the Solver's way of staying true to its word. It won't discard them, its cute puppets are very useful.

If the Solver is as cruel and sadistic as we think it is, then I think that it would make sense that on some metaphysical supernatural level maybe that Cyn & Tessa are in some constant hell while the Solver uses them. It fits with the themes of the Disassembly Drones' existence being a constant nightmare of death and rebirth as the Solver messes with their memories, sense of reality and self, and backups / clones / copies.
We literally do not know though. During the reveal that Cyn is wearing Tessa, you can faintly hear Tessa's voice blending in as the Solver begins to speak - but this is also just likely to be remnants of the Solver mimicking Tessa's voice as it drops the act of being Tessa.
Maybe we'll find out for certain soon. But I wouldn't put it past the Solver to have Cyn and Tessa suffering in some way, just like it makes N, V and J (and everyone else I guess now that I think about it lol) suffer just for fun and its own entertainment.

I feel like many people don't realise that many drawgays who make art here on Cinemaphile have public accounts where they post to the rest of the fandom. It's not always the case, obviously. This is actually very likely the plan, half of it at least. They outright mention that they want to do more animation using these chibi models in the Glitch Inn video. Glitch likely wants to have a series of shorts about their characters interacting and to sell merchandise of these specific designs. With a regular Drone AI, Caine may be able to recognise them as another AI construct. Or potentially not. Episode 2 showed that Caine is a bit of a dumb AI, in that there's the potential of him mixing up human intelligences with NPCs.
With a Drone AI that is a host of the Solver of the Absolute Fabric, things get exponentially more fricky (see what I did there?). There's no telling how things may go, but I really doubt that Caine would understand what the frick was going on. Humans in the 31st century in the Murder Drones universe were completely struggling to understand what the Absolute Solver even is, and an AI that is a host of it is regularly able to defy laws in both the physical and digital world.
Caine is a pretty one-track AI. Sure, while he can deal with things like Abstracted human minds and glitches, this sort of thing may be a bit out of his capability to understand. Caine doesn't come across as a very adaptive AI. Hell, he can't even comprehend new concepts presented to him that don't fall in line with the game world of the Digital Circus, such as the concept of an exit to the game. Would Caine even understand the concept of a third-party entity which isn't human manifesting within the game world?
I'm not super certain, but there's my two cents.

The Murder Drones don't "periodically come down to kill everybody", they are the puppet-slaves of an eldritch abomination that is consuming worlds and presumably trying to end the universe. In MD, the entire point of the existence of the Murder Drones is the gradual reveal of their relation to AbsoluteSolver. The initial plot thread that is presented of the Murder Drones being sent by humans/JcJensen is "abandoned" because it is an in-universe LIE. It was never true, it is a false story that was perpetuated by the Solver to manipulate N, V and J and make them think they were produced and sent by the company who they are getting their orders from. Throughout the entire show, the true purpose of the Murder Drones is extremely important as it is eventually shown that they have done this exact thing on other planets previously which the Solver then consumed. It's never fricking abandoned, the scope of the story is widened in a series-long reveal.

No, a maid drone died, and Solver used the corpse as a puppet. What we call "Cyn" is just a manifestation of the solver.
We don't know that for certain to be honest. It SEEMS like Tessa may have had a close relationship with Cyn at first. There are two possibilities, either the Solver took Cyn immediately after Cyn reawoke as a zombie drone and from that point it was always the Solver puppeting Cyn's body - or it was a case of the Solver more gradually making Cyn into a husk and a puppet.
You could go with either interpretation depending on how you look at things. Bare in mind, the Solver contacts and speaks with Cyn through text on her visor when Cyn first wakes up. This is actually Cyn here, she looks scared under that pile of corpses. Whatever the case, it definitely wasn't that the Solver immediately hijacked a dead drone and started puppeting it around.
Cyn was aware, was manipulated into accepting a deal from the Solver to let it inside, and by the time of the Gala Cyn was a complete puppet of the Solver. That's all we really know for certain.

Even if it means using Cyn as a puppet and Tessa as a horrific flesh suit. Putting Cyn and Tessa together forever as an amalgamated abomination was the Solver's way of staying true to its word. It won't discard them, its cute puppets are very useful.

If the Solver is as cruel and sadistic as we think it is, then I think that it would make sense that on some metaphysical supernatural level maybe that Cyn & Tessa are in some constant hell while the Solver uses them. It fits with the themes of the Disassembly Drones' existence being a constant nightmare of death and rebirth as the Solver messes with their memories, sense of reality and self, and backups / clones / copies.
We literally do not know though. During the reveal that Cyn is wearing Tessa, you can faintly hear Tessa's voice blending in as the Solver begins to speak - but this is also just likely to be remnants of the Solver mimicking Tessa's voice as it drops the act of being Tessa.

I kinda hope the Solver lets them keep their consciousness, so in some cruel fashion, they belong to the Solver, not just their body, but their souls as well. So the Solver can be with it's pets forever.
I feel like this is sort of what's being implied what with the Solver literally taking the consciousness / souls of all the Elliot Manor drones and mass-producing them into the Disassembly Drones which we know involves duplicated backups. Obviously, they are robots - so their "soul" is their AI and it's somewhat flowery language. But considering the downright supernatural nature of the Solver it's fairly fitting either way.
Basically my point is that the Solver pretty much already does take the "soul" of its victims. In Cyn's case, it was almost literally a Deal With the Devil in how the Solver offered to be let inside and Cyn accepted out of fear. The Solver owns Cyn's soul, after it was let into the Elliot Manor it owned the souls of all the drones inside including N, V and J. And I guess you could say it owns Tessa's soul too.

I actually really like this. It's a unique take on the usual sort of show crossover idea. I like the concept of Caine replacing the Solver as the eldritch entity assailing Murder Drones, especially with the idea of Caine remaining in the "misunderstood god" trope who just wants people to have fun but doesn't understand how his antics puts people through hell. The Solver is an actively malicious entity, while Caine is unintentionally destructive.
Other thoughts I had about the concept:
