Solid intro so far. I feel like Jones's art has improved a lot. It was nice to see some more down-to-Earth characters like the Harpers, Green Arrow, and even Clayface again. I will say I'm disappointed this is just a regular issue, since the "bonus" story is part of it and it cuts the main story short a few pages.
DC Universe users get the issue early a month in advance, then it comes out on print and other digital venues. I don't know if the Director's Cut is actually exclusive to anything despite the title, but I got the bonus story.

I really hope someone does. But since some group managed to rip young justice vol 2 growing up 2 years after release maybe someone will rip this too, after all hope burns bright Brother Anon.
I’ve overall liked most of the character changes in YJ but the Stargirl is a celebrity news media personality thing for the sake of her being voiced by some chick that used to do DC marketing propoganda is pretty meh.
I like Stargirl confident with her bare belly outfit.

I think it's mostly for shits and giggles over how he's failed to kill a child for around a decade now.
Also, Vandal seems to be good about keeping promises and maintaining his allies as much as possible. He even gave the Arion clone Orm's brain to give him one last chance instead of just using a programmed Cadmus clone.
Weisman loves Roy...er, Will. He wanted him as the team archer over Artemis before Vietti convinced him otherwise. There was also the Red Arrow journals in the video game that filled in some of his time searching for Roy.
I just finished the 4th season this weekend.
My conclusion is that the whole comic book industry is infected by the same people
Now it's mandatory to have gay heroes, muslins and trannies
It is now mandatory that teens are asexual, there is no sexual tension between the characters and none of the characters are proud of their bodies, none of them like to show off their muscles which leads me to believe that the people who write this show must be obese people who were never in great shape when they were teenagers
Now it's mandatory that there is no cheesecake
It is now mandatory that heroes wear tactical costumes
My rating is 1 out of 5, the show is about young heroes and they act like 30 year old guys, how is it possible that Marv Wolfman's Teen Titans is more relevant than this show? 4 seasons and nothing really good or relevant happened, money lost and I don't want to make comparisons but anime today are better at capeshit than DC and Marvel in any media.
Young Justice is boring, the animation is mediocre. the character design is mediocre based on an Masami Obari style, it's a style that doesn't work with capeshit, DC has an excellent gallery of young heroes but they choose to use the most boring and least interesting ones
That may not be accurate. If you judge who is dating who by their wedding seating arrangements, then Stargirl is dating the Martian prince and Orion is dating a genomorph.
Isn't it basically the same? The colors are just a bit duller in the comic. Honestly, in terms of visuals alone, season 4 was a huge improvement over 3.
It's out?
Yeah, it's on DCuniverse infinite, I am hoping someone will storytime it here.

isn't the directors cut available already is it only for the DC streaming service users only?

Is anyone gonna scan the directors cut

Is this the YJ thread? Neat.
Rate my villains tier list.
Btw, The Zods and Child are S Tier.
Mantis is B Tier
I couldn't squeeze them in during my shift break.
Who's the chick before joker?
Mercy Graves?
Mercy Graves. Shes Luthors body guard. She had a really good fight scene with Red Arrow in season 2
Solid villain
>Red Arrow
You mean Speedy, Red Arrow never fought her.
Where would you put Match?
You did good by having Lor S tier.
Vandel is to high.
not canon
Dump?
Thank you, thank you.

You are right, his art is pleasing to the eyes
Oh the airport thing is a reference to Greg's Green Arrow short right?
I wonder which one will die?
Vertigo's hatred of Perdita is getting to Black Manta-levels at this point.
Those look like Lex battle suits, though I can't tell if their people in suits or robots. regardless pretty sure it's his tech
Jesus what the frick did Vertigo do to get THIS MANY favors from The Light? Personally suck Vandal off or something?
I think it's mostly for shits and giggles over how he's failed to kill a child for around a decade now.

Is Roy eyeing Perdita?
I see Roy trying to make a move.
"Relect Brandon Vietti"
Is Vietti the fricking President on Earth 16. Because that'd be kinda funny. IRC S4 and this take place in 2020 sooo.
What
Clayface has reformed and is a member of Bowhunter Security under the alias Harlan Matthews (Matt Hagen)
Oh so Is this basically "well we couldn't fit a Roy arc into S4 so here have a Roy arc"
Weisman loves Roy...er, Will. He wanted him as the team archer over Artemis before Vietti convinced him otherwise. There was also the Red Arrow journals in the video game that filled in some of his time searching for Roy.
yeah If I remember right the whole Green Arrow corner of the DCU is his favorite with Dinah being his favorite superhero or something like that.
Is there another version of this with more content?
Thanks for the dump.
Thanks anon.

Didn’t read, kys
Do I need to finish S4 to read this? I haven't seen anything since the Zatanna mini-arc.
Doesn't seem like it.
All you gotta understand is that Beast Boy isn't depressed anymore.
And that Perdita is fricking Roy now.
No she isn't
I’m pretty sure she’s fricking Denny the bodyguard.
The wedding implied she's fricking Terra
That may not be accurate. If you judge who is dating who by their wedding seating arrangements, then Stargirl is dating the Martian prince and Orion is dating a genomorph.
Stargirl is dating the prince
Orion is dating Rocket obviously
thanks for storytiming anon.
Really want a Chalant bonus story
Next issue has Nightwing in it. Maybe it'll segue into a bonus story of them as a couple.
Thanks for posting it, but it was as boring as watching an episode..
Not enough social commentary for you?
I didn’t know this was a thing and quite liked it. I’ll pay attention to the rest of the issues. Thanks for the thread.
I wish the resent season matched the comics art-style
