Yeah. It and Rear Window are peak Hitchwiener.

      yeah wtf
i watched Vertigo and must have been completely filtered because that shit was boring. Amazing photography but thats it
even James Stewarts whole “omgz o noooo i got vertigoooooo” seemed entirely incidental to the story. Felt like Hitchwiener was sleeping

Now Dial M for Murder is where its at
      Saw it in 3d.
Hitchwiener does suspense like no other; that’s probably why Vertigo was lackluster. Its a pretty straightforward movie

Based, my favourite Hitchwiener. Felt like a refined and aesthetic entertainment experience, looked amazing and so smoothly shot.

It's such a mediocre fricking film. The grandpa wooing the young kid and one shot in a staircase equals apparently the greatest film ever made.

It's one of the most influential movies ever made, really pioneering for it's time on so many levels.

Robocop is the greatest movie ever made and I'm operating with zero irony or shitposting

If anything it elevates itself by how perfectly it executes its own schlocky juvenile concept, somehow every single scene, every line and every character just works, how many movies really bat 1000 on the fundamentals like that?
