So why did people like it so much?
I lasted till season 3 until I realized how mediocre and full of cliffhangers it is... Feels like something made for high schoolers

lots of people probably were high schoolers 15 years ago
Cliff hangers are bad because why..? You're hitting next episode on a putlocker dude settle down
>full of cliffhangers
Inherently keeps it interesting
When every episode ends on a cliffhanger they inevitably lose impact and become dull and irritating
>Feels like something made for high schoolers
most people barely have a high school education
I honestly don't know. It's cliché but I checked out after the fly episode. I just can't get invested into a series that can be pulled in some pants-on-head retarded situation at the whims of a director.
It's enjoyable as turn your brain off popcorn entertainment, it's not high drama but it doesn't need to be. The issue is that the stuff with his family always drags the show to a halt.
>high drama
It certainly is lauded as such however. Most people credit BB for single-handedly bringing back television drama.
Those people are idiots and you can and should ignore them. BB just took the format that had already been proven successful by HBO with The Sopranos and made it more cartoonish. The entire thing is basically a shonen anime except with a high-brow coat of paint.
I remember everyone losing their minds over it and thinking about how many cultural cliches and shit it had, similar to how animes all have these recognizable tropes and shit.
When we've had shows like The Sopranos, The Wire, Rome, Six Feet Under, etc, right before
Those are too difficult to understand for zoom zooms
even if you find a way to handwave those, Mad Men literally started over a year before BB and was big from the very beginning.
S1-4 are kino. 5 is garbage and should just be skipped.
Ah I'll never grow tired of /misc/ contrarianism. It's so amusing.
>People speak just like they do in real life. Dialogue is human and not forced.
>People act just like they would in real life. Character choices and motivations are organic and realistic.
>People look just like they do in real life. Everyone is ugly, some of the men are short, most of them are bald.
>Dialogue is human and not forced
"i am the le danger" is not how people speak
it is how raging narcissists larping on a blood-rage murder high larping as drug warlords speak.
Name 1000 better shows.
Ok you start and finish
What are your favorite shows?
Most of the people who watched it when it aired were people who don't know drugs or crime but want to feel included in those activities. Nowadays I shit you not it's all the rage with ftm chuds, really tells you something since it might as well be drag queens doing a Monroe impersonation. chuds are such goddamn caricatures, I swear most people could handle dealing with them if they'd only admit how stupid they look trying to put themselves through the opposite puberty and expecting to be taken seriously. People don't even take real teens going through real puberty seriously.
that’s how you know it’s inherently narcissistic. the way you have to tiptoe around them and outright lie about your perception of reality. we’re now being pressured to act as enablers for unstable narcissists to prop up an industry that profits off them. what the fuck.
Fly best episode
Isn't the point of almost every episode that it ends in a cliffhanger? Makes you wanna watch the next one to see how they will get out of whatever situation
skyer is a bitch.
edit: thanks for the gold kind gentlesir
>Feels like something made for high schoolers
As opposed to you, mister triple phd...?
It was the cultural zeitgeist of the time. Meme'd as the story of a good man turning evil which intrigued normies. Supremely reddit show, but decent nonetheless. It peaked at the end of S2 for me.
I watched it recently and it was great. The only part I didn't get is why people hated Skylar. She acted like a perfectly reasonable person all the time.
It’s raw kino. If you were filtered, well… that’s on you
The Shield is raw kino. Breaking Bad is filtered.
