Sometimes I am tempted to unleash my autism and write a fanfic where Marcy goes full Villain Sue, takes control of the Core but doesn't forgive Anne or Sasha and instead just takes over both worlds and tries to lead them to prosperity using the intelligence of the Core. She still feels bitter and lonely and keeps Anne and Sasha in an artificial coma and plans to brainwash them one day to become her perfect soldiers but can never bring herself to do it. I'm not sure how the story would end yet.

I've been writing a fanfic on and off, but it's more about attempting to reimagine season 3 as an ensemble cast story where each girl simply has more time on their own to explore their personal character arcs and relationships amidst their different factions. As well as more time together to explore where they stand both as friends and as people fighting for two different worlds while not really knowing where they belong in either of them.
Also I'm cutting 95% of LA.

I heard of Marcy's betrayal while watching S2, and I expected her to backstab both the protagonists and Andreas with her vision of the best possible future for Amphibia. I still think it could've been more interesting than what we got.
I thought it be like Marcy backstab Anne and Sasha by siding with the core due to her parents still wanting to move away even after she been missing for months.
That sounds like something straight out of SU. It kind of makes sense and can potentially be traumatic, but it's also kind of petty for a heel turn motivation and there are better motivations out there.
I remember seeing fanart before watching the show, about Marcy talking about faking the stab with Andrias because it was part of her fricked up evil plan or w/e. Was surprised to find out they did it for real and almost killed off a 13-yr-old on a kid's show
As a trade-off, they weren't allowed to mention it or have Anne brooding about it in S3.
Even if they weren't allowed to acknowledge the stabbing directly, It's still really really bizarre they couldn't let anyone show worry for her at all. Like they could get away with showing a child stabbed onscreen (and later possessed as she screams bloody murder), but couldn't allow anyone to say her name more than twice for half a season afterwards?
