Tails and misery/edge is common because of many factors. Probably the main reason being the shock of seeing the "cute kid character" in incredibly fricked up scenarios, the juxtaposition is the appeal. Plus, Tails is one of the most popular characters in the franchise of course he will get tons of fan work, both good and bad. I just watched the two videos back to back and while it is the same voice actor, in the second one she randomly switches between the original voice and some off brand Harley quinn voice. You can kind hear it when she calls him 'darlin' and the like. Maybe it's just me though. Funny that shadyvox is getting actual VA work. A step up from making youtube raps and an abridged series.

I enjoyed what the first part had to offer a lot more. Amy’s VA affected a Harley Quinn baby-voice in this one that was distractingly bad. The cliffhanger from the first part indicated it would take this tonal shift but I would’ve liked to see dumbass yandere Amy try and fail to win sonic for a bit longer
