In Dead Reckoning, I thought the only, mostly implied, sexual expression of any kind came from Vanessa Kirby, and that was already dialed way down from the last movie. That movie at least implied the existence of heterosexual sex with a kiss.

They've all been soulless since MI3. The first two were made by artists, everything after that was a franchise-building exercise.
I agree with you, but as the movies have gone on beyond the 4th and especially the 5th movie, where I think they really internationalized, there has been a far more notable decrease in anything resembling male heterosexuality. But this particular movie was way worse than even the last one (which at least had pretty good fight scenes sometimes).

Invented for this movie, including the idea that joining the IMF was some kind of orphan program for criminals that "make the choice". One of many completely moronic plot lines. (And while I understand MI always has moronic plots, this one is noticeably more shallow.)
