>being executive produced by the head writer of Craig of Creek
nah, this will be the new best incarnation of Spidey. Spectacular is finally getting topped
To be fair, Disney has a bad trackrecord vis-a-vis Spidey cartoons.
Putting that aside, how often have people been wrong when red flags pop up? I've no memory for these things.
What fricking red flags? We don't even have a trailer yet. If people are automatically calling it bad because it's MCU Spidey that's them being biased snoycucks who get steam pouring out of their ears anytime an adaptation isn't basically the Raimi movies.
The only red flag I know of is that Tom didn't want to voice Peter in the adaptation. But that's probably minor. It being a prequel tied completely to the MCU does limit a lot of it's potential story telling avenues. Expecting just another retelling of Ben getting shot with MCU flavoring. Not even like normal tv super hero show series where they get the super suit in the final episode. He's gonna be stuck with the proto-suit for the whole thing.
High school Pete's been done well in cartoons once.
Disney's not made a good Spidey Cartoon
Need for MCU synergy will impact the story and limit what can be done
This one's personal, but MCU Pete is really lame.
That's three right there, four if you also dislike MCU Pete.
-Man 2017 and Unlimited are the worst Spidey carto-
What would you say your least favorite episode of this series was OP? And if you had to pick just one that wasn't so bad, what would that be?
Not OP but I gotta be honest
I watched most of Unlimited but I remember maybe two episodes
Didn't think it was that bad and it was on when I was having lunch so I just went for it
But it's not a very memorable show
Best thing about it the artstyle, might be my favorite looking Spidey show artwise even though Spectacular got better animation...imagine if the two had a baby visually.
It was stupid as frick. Animation was mostly ass. It should've just been a 2099 show instead of this 'counter-earth' bullshit. The only worthwhile thing about the show is the suit, and that's nothing to really write home about either.
the Gene Splicing over-arching plot was ripped straight from 2099 anyway. The advanced technology/weaponry along with the dystopia slum life just made it seem like they wanted to make a 2099 series. Probably no or little faith in Miguel is the only reason I can think of as to why they didn't.

Craig of the Creek is dull
Yeah but I suspect that's mostly network restrictions
The other stuff I've seen from him is more fun
>Won't be wearing the Spider-Man costume, but the wretched thing Iron Boy wore before Tony Stark created the suit for him.
>Connected to the MCU.
Nope.
Kill me
>Judging a product before even an official trailer
I thought we'd evolved past that by now.
Come on, anon. Every day at least one motherfricker in here does that.

>”All our Spider-Man cartoons in the past decade have been shit, what should we do?”
>”Just connect it to the MCU”
I hate Disney/MarvelStudios
Gonna cry?
Yes
any leaks from this yet?
Slingers are the alleged antagonists
was Unlimited really that bad

Weren't they worried it would be seen as a batman beyond rip off?

Unlimited with it problems, was fun show with great artstyle. I think you meant ultimate.
Unlimited was decent if you take it as a What-If scenario and had some good characters (heroic Goblin comes to mind immediately)
Ultimate is shit.
