I really think I could have forgiven a lot of the bullshit on this show if they just put them in the classic uniform seen here

I hated prickard s3 too. I hated the entire show. But people were blinded enough by All The Stars Being There. Just awful. Also the TNG characters spouting off modern day dialogue is horrid.
I think worst of all was the Titan-A being rebranded as the Enterprise-G

That last season was one giant frick you after the other to anybody who loved old trek.
I find it insane that lower decks, a comedy trek show, has more respect for the old lore then these live action shows.
That is not star trek no matter what you call it.
I always found it a bit odd that the Federation was friendly with the Klingons despite them classifying disruptors as war crime-tier weapons because of how painful they killed people.
And yet they go about allying with an empire that uses that as their standard sidearm over the Romulans.
Love how in STD the klingons where assfricking starfleet so hard in every battle and were close to burning earth but they then kind of gave up and fricked off because some small bullshit.
