Another prequel? Why not just adapt one of the episodes using the current cast? They all are the relative age of the original cast members at the time of TOS already.

so they're gonna stitch together episodes of DS9 and First Contact and come up with something original? Can't wait to see the food riots and the first warp drive and the first Vulcan (played by Lizzo).

    Prequel to what?
Picard, Kirk, Pike,Burnam, Archer...Cochrane. Like how does "prequel" mean anything when the shows themselves have already covered so many past events or era's of that universe. Star Trek prequel, Really Zefram Cochrane is the only thing I can think of that makes since.

Frick that. Have some balls and do a Star Trek show from the perspective of one of the other races. The Federation is played out. Lets have a Romulan or Klingon themed show following a crew of one of their ships. Instead of being carboard cutout villains they can be actual people for once

I want a Star Trek USS Hawaii.. It would be everything Star Trek but with a future Hawaii type theme , with a Hawaii Holodeck, that reproduces the Island of Oahu and Pearl Harbor, Honolulu , North Shore and Kaneohe Bay.

I don't want a Stat Trek movie, I want a 30 semi-sttand-alone episode season of Trek with a cast of 100 that covers all ranks including commisioned officers, enlisted chiefs, crewman, their civilian familes, and a small compliment of Star Fleet Marines.

I think what Star Trek needs is more writers who are nerds who also served in the military, or at least have experience around military.

    >STAR TREK Prequel
Star Trek is about going fowards, BEYOND. Not backwards. Give me a show/movie in the next century after the Next Generation, show us the future and humanity boldly going where they never went before.

Not trannies and fatties having YASS QUEENS moments in the bridge or fricking left politics ffs.

The people who were capable of doing that retired after Enterprise was cancelled. Most don't work in the industry much these days.

The best you're ever going to get is Picard Season 3. The final season of the show. And even that was a fluke where control of the show was handed to someone who cared. It's not something that want to do again.

Modern leftists in control of Hollywood are unable to create anything unique. They can only hang their uncreative shit on the sturdy framework built for them by others (many who were themselves leftists but of an earlier era).

I'm fricking TIRED of prequels and the TOS era. These people hate TOS with Kirk and Spock being nothing more than a meme to them, yet they still can't stop jerking off to it because it's all they know.

Kirk and Spock are treated like Batman and Superman now and they shouldn't be. TNG, Voyager, DS9 , and the last season of Picard proves Star Trek does not need Kirk and Spock to cary the franchise.

Star Trek 4 has been officially announced every year since Beyond. Name the writer, director, list a release date. Everything. And six months later it falls through.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Star_Trek_films#Star_Trek_4
    >...J. J. Abrams revealed that a fourth film in the reboot series would see Chris Hemsworth reprising his role of George Kirk, father of Chris Pine's James T. Kirk, from the prologue of the first reboot film.[76] Paramount officially announced the film in July 2016 with the working title Star Trek 4. J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay were set to write the screenplay.[77] In December 2017, Quentin Tarantino approached Abrams and Paramount about an idea he had for a new Star Trek film, and a writers room was hired... write the film's screenplay at the end of the month, based on Tarantino's idea.[80] S. J. Clarkson entered talks to direct the Beyond sequel in April 2018,[81] but contract negotiations with Pine and Hemsworth ended in August with the pair leaving the project.[82]

    >Noah Hawley was hired to write and direct a new Star Trek film for Paramount in November 2019,[85] based on his own vision for the franchise.[86] This project was "very close" to production beginning in August 2020 when it was placed on hold... In March 2021, Paramount set Star Trek: Discovery writer Kalinda Vazquez to write a new Star Trek film, ... a separate script was developed by Beer and Geneva Robertson-Dworet.[90] The studio scheduled the latter film for release on June 9, 2023,[91][92] and hired director Matt Shakman...

    >Shakman left the film in August 2022 after joining the Marvel Studios film Fantastic Four (2025),[97] removed from Paramount's release schedule soon after.[98] In January 2024, it was reported that a fourth film was still in development and would serve as the final chapter of the series.[100][101][102]
