Oh yeah. I saw Doomcick's video recently where it was said that Alex Kurtzman was into Star Trek because the franchise had killed his career. Those people are so full of themselves.
The first half of season 1 is insufferably sophomoric. Once Seth got the suits to stop paying attention he slowly frog-boils it into a proper Trek series between 2nd half season 1 and first half season 2. From that point on it's TNG with one contractually mandated dick and fart joke per EP and it's kino.
One thing that bothers me about old sci fi is the lack of transsexualism and transhumanism. But looking back, it was more of an American thing than a European one. European sci fi already had a more plausible society, even though it was less scientific than America.
The third picture is from the Orville, which is Trek in spirit but not in name. But otherwise you're right.
>But otherwise you're right
What is your favourite?
He's a guy with the orange sweater like Captain Kirk wore, he looks like Kino but I bet he's not the captain because he's a white man.
oh he is!
even if there is a couple of lesbians working for him.
What Star Trek show is he in? By the way, how many Trek shows are there now?
Strange new worlds
(it is supposed to be on kirk's enterprise before kirk)
there is also the 2d cartoon parody
the other ones are cancelled
Prodigy is on da Flix now.
they got cancelled before s2, s2 dump on the flix prompted no announcedment of continuation
I stand corrected. Thanks anon.

What is the Orville program like? I can't stand Seth Macfarland as an actor but I hear the show is funny
