GOYSLOP YUMMY
>~~*Disney*~~ "Star Wars"
Nah, I'm good, thanks.
pirating now, lets hope its kinda good
This feels like bladerunner not star wars going by ep 1 fast
and that's exactly what I hoped for
Disney really picking the bones clean.
>Still believing disney is trying to make it good
This real? 12? Who asked for TWELVE?!?!?
I did, and a second season
see
Holy shit, Ahsoka is in this too?! fricking Filoni.
honestly not even sure I can work up the will
I just can't even hatewatch this slop anymore
slop it up
be a good goy
My feed bag will double as a mask!
I thought Andor was a planet
I'm going to make this joke all the time by the way. It's a really good joke with nuance.
You joke, but the first time I said this here I was completely serious.
SUUUWEEEEEEEEEEEY
WE SLOPPIN IT UP NOW SLOPSISTAS
SUUUWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Hardcore fans really defended obi-wan just for the first 5 minutes of this show to completely blow that series quality out of the water. Its shocking that obi-wan came out a few months before this.
I'm about to watch the first ep, it better live up to this hype.
Hope I didnt oversell it, its just nice to have some resemblance of actual technical care for Star Wars again. Especially after the last year of cash grabs and rushed jobs that were Boba Fett and Obiwan
Yeah, I've been gushing over this too ITT but it's so refreshing.
So it's worth watching?
Yea it feels like an actual film maker made this show
I'm enjoying it, about to put on the 3rd ep.
Yea dude, I heckin love my goyslop as well!
It's my favourite character, Endor Calrissian!
Nothing happens in the first episode
They had to make it 3 episode premiere because nothing happens in 2 episodes
So he's not with the Rebels here at the start?
>take it easy man
The Rebel Alliance doesn't really even exist yet in 5 BBY.
>0 aliens
Black folk, latinx and chinx are now our aliens
There's more aliens than in ANH and ESB combined.
How woke?
Cassian's adoptive dad is black.
For me this is the best Star Wars has looked in the Disneyera. Loving the world this is building, hope it gets exciting eventually kek.
>Andor S01E01 1080p DSNP WEB-DL DD+ 5.1 Atmos H.264-NTb
>Andor S01E02 1080p DSNP WEB-DL DD+ 5.1 Atmos H.264-NTb
>Andor S01E03 1080p DSNP WEB-DL DD+ 5.1 Atmos H.264-NTb
>Andor S01E01 1080p DSNP WEB-DL DD+ 5.1 Atmos H.264-NTb
the frick do I do with this?
Write it on a piece of paper in red pen, roll it up and microwave it for 5 minutes and 15 seconds while thinking only of BBC. Then go back to your PC and it'll be there for you.
Paste it on Youtube
Tribals in SW is a neat angle.
They're all kids, and the flashback is during the Clone Wars. I don't think they're a "tribe" really. Just a bunch of kids separated from their parents somehow. Seems unclear who hung Cassian's father.
Frickingkek, a fricking mallcop is our antagonist so far.
The anal retentive imperial dweeb character is funny.
Reminds me of Kyle McLaughlin if Kyle McLaughlin could act.
Will Krennic show up? I know they're keeping fan service to a minimum but they can pull from RO. Like, they'll need to show him getting that droid.
His dorky funny character DIED at the end of episode 3. We now have PTSD Hellbent on revenge mallcop to look forward to now.
Former security guard, here. He reminds me too much of myself.
>sex is canon
Its over, they took the last bit of virginity Star Wars had...fricking degenerates
Goysloppy, yummy yummy
Goysloppy, yummy yummy
Goysloppy, yummy yummy
yummy yummy
yummy yummy
GOYSLOPPIES!
?t=32
Can you post the link to your Discord group? I wonder how many of you are trannies and/or furries.
reminder that kenari sympathizers will be executed. don't find yourself on the wrong side of history.
>no child actor on the poster
so it's gonna be better than Kenobi at least right?
Tonally, it's better than anything they've done so far, save a few episodes of season one Mando.
You can thank the absence of Filoni for that. It's all new lore/setting so far and that really helps.
Will go to shit once they bring in other established characters.
Tony Gilroy said no fan service
Then this will be the best series they've put out kek.
I'm real excited to see new ship and armor designs.
Filoni is the worst thing to have happened to modern Star Wars, even the Rise of Skywalker feels more like the original Star Wars trilogy than whatever this dude puts out
I loved him but grew to hate him.
Felt like I was watching bladerunner and various british actors in imperial uniforms talk to each other in some imperial base.
Best Star Wars has been in a while, innit
>that "omar's coming" scene
goyslop wars is the most boring franchise move over harry potter.
Fricking gotta love seeing a hot girl w/ breasts in a tank top in nu-Wars. Niceee
post her
Boys I've already crawled back in bed can't be assed to get up and take a screengrab.
Should be about twenty minutes into episode two though.
I think shes wearing some weird onesie, either way she fricked Tim. Also frick Tim, Pathetic beta thought Casian was stealing his girl just because they were close.
I like that its following the theme of people dying around Casian. Also no wonder the empire started to use stormtroopers. Fricking beat cops cant do shit against 2 random dudes with blasters and a few well placed charges
Yeah, talk to your girl dude. Confront her, instead of stewing in it like a b***h and ratting the guy to the cops.
Stormtroopers were already in use of course. There was just no reason for elite shock troops to be called in /ourguy/ doesn't even have that authority, he is a corpo cop a Stormtrooper would literally think of him as mall security.
That being said since we've seen cops in action and well they got had they were a real fricking threat, I really hope this is the first SW media to do Stormtroopers justice as the terrfying elite fore they are once they show up.
im hoping so too, if anything we get to see the trooper chain of command on screen, like not just the suits but the people behind the masks. Still waiting on Disney to greenlight something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HO70-Rk3jE
I remember watch this with my dad on our shit rural '99 internet. Still just as funny.
i specifically remember my dad screaming for me to come in and watch it late at night, think i still got the VHS with it as well
Lord of the flies on an uninhabitable mining planet, somehow feel like that was significant considering the Republic crew couldnt survive without masks
I somehow feel like thats Disney subtly hinting at gun control politics, considering mall security irl is wanting to carry firearms now. although I could just be looking too deep into it
Less gun control , blasters have never been a bad thing in SW. More militarization of police
>considering the Republic crew couldnt survive without masks
That's because there was some gas leak on the ship.
That or they all got the Sheev jab
That was a CIS crew on a CIS ship. The Repuplic is who shot them down, and is coming to finish them off.
Actually their uniforms had Republic symbol on them. It was a republic ship
Based moron
No. That was the CIS emblem, like a TIE fighter panel.
>NO UNDERWEAR IN SPACE!!!! REEEEEEE!!!
srly this bothers me more than it should
>no underwear in sci-fi land
I bet you the unisex shower scene in starshiptroopers got you heated too
>no image
Anon
We saw her pantsless too.
Hella diverse
More care, effort and detail has been put into the outfits of the natives than was put into the entire wardrobe of the last three shows.
just finished ep3, pirate scum. maybe try paying for services like a good christian male instead of relying on dirty torrents.
>inb4 everyone says it's boring because CGI Luke doesn't pop up
>no cgi luke in rogue one
>still one of the highest rated SW films
It had Darth Vader and that's literally the only thing people remember from thag movie. I would not be surprised if some people went into this show not remembering that Cassian first appeared in Rogue One.
>It had Darth Vader and that's literally the only thing people remember from thag movie
I watched the movie three times and wouldn't have known off the top of my head. It's not important.
This show is interesting precisely because it doesn't feature any of the old shlock
I agree but I don't extend that view to Rogue One considering the direct references to and cameos from A New Hope.
If what's been posted ITT is true this show aims not to make those same mistakes.
Like, this middle-management side of the Empire is something we've never seen before. I'll take these security guard mall cop guys over stormtroopers.
Maybe they should put Starkiller instead lol I mean it's after all about Birth of the Rebellion
When is The Secrets of Snaggletooth coming out?
holy shit that's boring as frick
also frick all those british "people"
I mean of all characters in Star Wars, why pick the most boring possible one? The strength of Star Wars is that it’s FILLED with fun and interesting characters. The choice to make an entire show out of Andor of all characters is nothing short of utterly baffling. The only thing I can think is “he’s available, it’s something we [disney] made.” Otherwise I’d rather watch a series following a random Ewok than this literal who of a character.
>FILLED with fun and interesting characters.
Because every show they've done like that has been awful? This is new everything, freshest Star Wars has felt in years.
Stick to your Filoni fanservice wank dude.
i want a Dexter Jettster show
Diego Luna himself said titling the show as "Andor" was a mistake since it wasn't really a character story and the plot was big in scope with multiple main characters like GOT.
>people think this show is "adult"
know when you can tell people haven't even seen the movies
???
The movies are glorified toy adverts aimed at children.
can always tell
Like what? The prequels?
Literally doing a standing overation here in my chewbacca pajamas when I noticed the Star Destroyers in the background.
Oof this shit is going to get mauled by based house of the dragon
>all this talk about "adult" star wars and brothel in star wars
>not even a tummy
>not even one twi'lek bawd
>barely any customers and no actual sex anywhere
lol
lmao even
cartoons were more "adult" than this shit
So did this just have a much larger budget than the other shows or just talented artists?
Larger budget, Disney wants budget for their original characters
They filmed in actual sets and the showrunner admitted he didn't give a shit about Star Wars and its lore. This is probably why it turned out decent.
Lore bore here, who the frick are these guys and what is their place in the hierarchy of the Empire?
They're something new which why it's so based. They're corporate security of some kind.
Given authority of these manufacturing planets.
I'd say they're like Pinkertons but I don't know if that fits, English is my first language lol.
>what is their place in the hierarchy of the Empire?
They're literally Privatized Law Enforcement, the equivalent of PMC's but they enforce law and order as an extension of the Empire. If my guess is right, they're basically contractors, corporate contractors working for the empire. You gotta remember, a LOT of these worlds arent really 'nations', they're just fricking worlds that got colonized to mine and shit, and people came to live there, so someone put law and order.
They're Pinkertons/Blackwater.
Please stop. Even if you get paid for it this has to be embarrassing
So, you dont talk about movies and shows...in Cinemaphile?
Corpos. In old canon there were basically corporations large enough to be their own government.
>Another plagiarized piece of old EU
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
holy shilling ITT
its like reddit rejects came to form a thread
Reddit will pan it. None of their favorite Clone Wars OC's.
this
it's like I'm on plebbit or shit wars twitter, where these fanatics praise the most awful dogshit, like this show or the last jedi
Disney shills always go overboard, same when they try to counter shill other movies or shows. You just can tell it's viral marketing
The way they write is pretty funny. Mixing lore facts with purported emotional engagement as if it's the best thing since ep. 4
And all that on a board where 90% will just pirate it kek
yeah what the frick
I was confused by the flashback of Andor's past where he finds a crashed CIS ship but Fiona Shaw says they're Republic.
Imo, they wanna make republic seem bad because they are morons, in universe
But they had CIS markings, no?
They kind of were, even in the Clone Wars show.
Yeah, it's funny how the Republic was impotent, corrupt, pacifistic, exploitive, extreme economic inequality and then leaned into authoritarianism.
They were rotten. All but one of the things I said were w/o Sheev too.
yeah i didn't get that either. they crew literally had the CIS logo on their arms
The Republic shot down that CIS ship, who apparently just killed a Republic officer. The Andors get Kassa out so he isn't killed when the clones show up to mop up (which they probably won't even need to since the whole crew seems to have died from that yellow gas).
Shit, I think you're the first person to get it right dude.
God, I hope I'm not. It wasn't that difficult to grasp.
Clearly not buddy
i watched the show for 15 minutes and then realized i dont care about star wars anymore
the only part of these three episodes i cared about was the corporate security. that stuff was really new and refreshing, and FINALLY we get to see people in the Imperial Command not being demonized. oh yeah and the opening was good, gritty, dope.
everything else sucked
>FINALLY we get to see people in the Imperial Command not being demonized
They're definitely being demonized, they all act like dickhead cops.
The main imperial character is also apparently the psychotic fanatic type.
What's wrong with the Empire system anyway? Sure Siths are evil but why imperial system itself should be viewed as evil? If they give people basic rights and let the senate intact why is Republic even neeeded?
Because their foundation is based upon an organization of evil space wizards where being self-destructive and self-serving is inherent to their code.
Take the Fel Empire pill
They blow up an entire fricking planet just to set an example, dude.
>They're definitely being demonized, they all act like dickhead cops.
But Syril is the only justifiable character so far. Everyone else are snitches, murderers or terrorists.
Imagine thinking mall security should have the right to hunt people down at the mall across town.
And going on his gay little crusade against the direct orders of his boss man.
Enforcing law and authority over people will always be hard to portray as a positive thing, because NO ONE wants to follow laws they dont agree with.
Fact is, Andor was a criminal, Cops came to arrest a criminal, the populace interfered with a Police Investigation, aided and abetted a criminal, and then Andor basically became a mass murderer and terrorist to evade police pursuit.
who the frick wrote this script? either pajeet or AI
>Actual show discussion? On my /misc/-lite board? REEEEE
that's not show discussion. that's artificial irrelevant garbage to keep bumping the thread
What's your standard for substantial discussion then?
>Police
They weren't even "The Law" they were fricking Walmart security guards where Walmart spans the whole planet (and a couple nearby planets). Cassian killed their co-workers who started shit with him first (while they were drunk and mad because they didn't get to frick whoores on the clock).
Basically pinkertons.
i fricking hate primitive people, glad that tribe leader got lit up
>tribe leader
Seems to be a pack of orphans.
Is Palpatine in this? Would be interesting considering this show is acting as the "grounded" entry of the franchise, it would kind of be like Joker popping up in The Wire unless Ian Mcdiarmid will get to finally show off some serious acting chops to the world.
I heard he appears as nice guy Sheev in a hologram at a rich people party, but gives zero fricks about attending Senate sessions at this point in the timeline. The purple bug man and the Umbaran chick are there in his place. Could just be bullshit rumors though.
Holy shit. I felt bad for the CorpoCops...they were LITERALLY arresting a murderer, and the Head Cop was doing the RIGHT THING.
I mean, this is the darkest I've ever seen Star Wars be. These werent some Stormtroopers, these were cops doing the right thing arresting actual criminal.
Weren't they shooting at random civilians though?
Watch the show, the only civilian who got shot was one that charged Cops when he was told to back off. Did they do crazy shit and violate civil liberties? Sure, but no more than our cops would do.
Timm literally went death by cop.
>Did they do crazy shit and violate civil liberties? Sure, but no more than our cops would do.
You're so close to getting it.
>Watch the show, the only civilian who got shot was one that charged Cops when he was told to back off.
Only because they were arresting and beating another random civilian, also Timm wasn't armed so he should have just been arrested.
What? The cops have to defend themselves! This is Star Wars, for all they know, that guy is a cyber-augmented mega terrorist with metal arms, a personal body-shield.
He literally charged them. It was a justified shoot. They warned, he charged, they shot in self defense.
Karn fires at some short aliens in that building where Cassian ends up finding him, but he misses them. When that one guy kills Bix' boyfriend (Timm?) who was running right at them, he immediately shows regret.
They are also happy trigger fascists, they murder and stop people cause they think is cool, they probably dream of being troopers, but then when the shit gets real they get all shaky indecisive and act like idiots, not like storm troopers that are disciplined and would kill women and children with out a second though when ordered to, seeing all the emotions on the face of the people on the side of the empire is pretty cool .
>They are also happy trigger fascists
what site are you on again?
On Cinemaphile we hate mods and love cops apparently.
We'll do anything to own the libs
Mods are more like vigilantes since they're not getting paid
On Reddit they love their mods and hate cops, so Cinemaphile must be the reverse. Makes sense.
The "blues" in Andor are basically paid Cinemaphile mods, if Cinemaphile mods could come to your house. They are not cops.
On the side of good content. The massacre on Ferrix is product of the militarized state and indoctrination of the empire, people from these godforsaken places don't take too well when they get pushed by authoritarian entities, hence the paranoia of everyone when they see the cops prancing in they imperial larping.
But then everything got fricking messy thanks to the rebel that couldn't control himself over recruiting a thief. Was Cassian worth what's going to happen to all the people on Ferrix once the empire comes to make an example out of them?
The chick at the brothel said they THINK they're cops. They're literally just security guards.
>lose 2 dirtbag guards that deserved to be killed
>go on holy crusade to bring in the person that killed them
>lose more guards in the process
bananas
Just like real life.
>Guy wants justice.
>Entire city that harbored Cassian will be subjugated under Imperial rule.
Cannot wait.
I loved Lucas's Star Wars both as a kid and a young adult, but seriously the kind of attention and money going into this half-assed soap opera space fantasy setting these days, is really kind of eerie and seems to me like a particular Americanized obsession: "evil empire" vs "good rebels", seriously just dumb and sophomoric.
Real men graduate to Star Trek and Babylon 5
A star wars police warrant and raid is pretty cool.
yeah it is, then they all get killed for making an arrest and painted as the villains
I think the ending made it clear to everyone that it isnt that simple. Watching that corpo cop be paralyzed in the face of horror was pretty hardcore.
Enforcing the law isnt easy.
>Enforcing the law isnt easy.
It is when you don't have to obey it.
>I think the ending made it clear to everyone that it isnt that simple. Watching that corpo cop be paralyzed in the face of horror was pretty hardcore.
can't deny that you're right, but this feels like a ''omg the team i'm on is so bad i'm gonna join the other side'' setup, which will be yet another anti-Empire shill
Ima be honest, I thought so, but the writers and composers used the quiet music and the scene composition to show 'Holy shit, this is fricking terrorism, none of this is right'.
Remember, Andor IS a fricking cold blooded murderer. You're rooting for the murderer. The cops came to arrest a -murderer-. And the guy basically got recruited by a terror cell and destroyed an entire police squad to escape.
These werent stormtroopers.
>Remember, Andor IS a fricking cold blooded murderer. You're rooting for the murderer. The cops came to arrest a -murderer-. And the guy basically got recruited by a terror cell and destroyed an entire police squad to escape.
Luke Skywalker is also a murderer, he killed billions when he blew up the Death Star but you don't see anyone bring that up.
2 dead people in an alley is murder. Shooting down a warship in war time is war.
Andor is basically a criminal and murderer who got recruited into becoming part of the rebel alliance. Which, well, checks out.
>Remember, Andor IS a fricking cold blooded murderer.
Crooked cops held him at gunpoint and tried to shake him down. When he accidentally killed one was he supposed to let the other go? No way would he get a fair trial. Frick them cops.
>No way would he get a fair trial.
doesn't make murdering a man with his hands in the air pleading for his life right, israelite
Dude, the Corpo cops dont know that.
All they know is that Two Cops are dead, one executed with a shot to the head. The main lead is Cassian. There's an informant, and a witness pointing at this one dude who has a criminal background too.
You cant get any more clearer than that, dude. The show is making you root for casual murderer Cassian Andor, but it shows you through the cinematography and the 'good' cop ...'this isnt right, is it'.
>Dude, the Corpo cops dont know that.
Syril's susperior literally outlines why pursuing a lead is a bad idea by pointing out that it would just shine a light on the corruption in the corps.
Yes, but dont we want forthright, 'good' cops? This corpo cop literally kicked every tree, shook a decaying, corrupt system to do the RIGHT thing- and that was to find a murderer.
He's technically the good guy here.
>H-he only murdered someone accidentally!
That's not how it works
In theory, they were correct, they might have wanted a shake down, but all the charges they said were correct, and in fact, he was actually piloting a stolen shuttle, too.
He should have just accepted the shakedown. He just escalated shit, then escalated again and hit the pedal.
hmmm... that's a good point actually, fair enough man! i do hope these themes continue and we get to see the Galactic Empire's other side. not just faceless stormtroopers, but men trying to keep order in the galaxy. heyy we're only on EP3 so who know right? thanks for the reply bro
>these weren't stormtroopers
They weren't cops either. That was established in the first 5 min in the bar at the brothel.
>they think they're cops
>I think the ending made it clear to everyone that it isnt that simple. Watching that corpo cop be paralyzed in the face of horror was pretty hardcore.
He was established to already be nervous and out of his depth in general, the impression I got was that he wasn't necessarily concerned about the other soldiers but just traumatized by how it ended up escalating.
It honestly feels like this was this dude's first real arrest warrant in a potential hotzone. He might be just a letter pusher manager type corpo who got manipulated into doing his first field OP, and everything just...fricking went to hell.
The entire population was basically non-cooperating, protecting a murderer because he was 'one of theirs'.
Both the republic/rebels and Trade Federation/Empire are shit. Syril represents the ones in the middle that have to deal with their chaos.
Was worried that being into Cyberpunk for the past week would not put me in the mood to watch this show but I think it actually helped a lot, because Andor does not feel like Star Wars at all (and that's a good thing).
Done by Tony Gilroy
Bourne identity kino
And it looked like it and was kino
Kys
OINK OINK I NEED MY SLOPPIES MR SHEKELSTEIN
the first episode failed to make a compelling argument for why should I care about any of this dogshit
I don't think I remembered a single character name, they all sound like GLUP SHITTO
this was possible the single dullest thing I've seen under the SW brand
it's literally
>what was their tax policy
taken to the absolute logical conclusion
shills itt deserve the rope
That's what you get for collaborating, you scotch frick.
Is it kino?
I feel like this thread is literally plebbit
Readit isn't even discussing the show, literally the few comments on the main television thread are just about how boring it is
Opening felt like bladerunner
>corpo sympathizers
this thread is cringe, but their ship was cool
>I DONT WANT GANII AAAAAAAH FRICK ME PLEASEEEEE
LMAO INCELS ARE CANON AND SEX TOO
I just straight up don’t watch shows with black people. Skipping this one because Disney can’t help themselves.
Did you skip ESB, ROTJ, and the prequels too?
He only watched A New Hope, bro. He's a purist. In fact, he skipped the scenes with Darth Vader once he learned James Earl Jones was black.
The black suit didn't tip him off?
Thanks bro, if you didn't post here I wouldn't have known you weren't watching, and what you do and don't watch is very important to me.
Maybe you should have listened to your boss and had filed those guys as accidental deaths you fricking dork
The action setpiece with all those engine blocks(?) falling from the ceiling was cool.
corpos aren't to blame, they have been brainwashed to idolize the empire, order and enforcing the law. They just got really bad luck into crossing paths with a terrorist that wont stop at anything in his crusade to end with a system that fricks with peoples liberties when ever they want. I mean if sheldon corpo saw what the empire is doing to the wookies or the geonosians he would become a rebel, he just happened to see the ugly side of the rebellion where innocent people are colaterals.
When the empire gets a hold of the starpath they are going to ascend sheldon for trying to stop a high profile rebel and showing his team is prepared to do what it takes to do so. Until things get too hot for him and he defect to the rebels that is.
Is the cop bootlicking ITT a bit? It's pretty fricking homosexual.
What are you, a redditor? You gonna smash the state, too? Gonna be a commie?
Excuse me sir, I'm a police officer. I'm running an undercover operation and I'll be needing to hide my erection in your posterior, I'm sure you'll be glad to oblige an officer of the law.
I think all subversive pinkos should be shot dude.
The police are your enemy if you actually had any right-leaning politics but I guess the new bit is a pastiche of facebook boomer conservatism.
is the rebel droid from the rogue one movie in this?
not really interested in watching if hes not
My expectation is his guest appearance is reserved for post-credits scene baiting next season
I can see why they put out three episodes at once, I wonder what it'll be like watching one ep a week. The reviews say the 4th ep is when it gets good.
Yeah, I agree. I enjoyed the three episodes as a 'collective', but they were HORRIBLY broken in three episodes.
What is Disney doing having 30 minute shows?
Am I supposed to be siding with the imperials? because I fricking hate everyone else.
Was recruiting Cassian worth the lives of all those people? and of the people the empire is going to kill when they find out?
Corpo-cops aren't people.
Can't feel bad for a wagie mallcop who did it to himself by not listening and try to 'go above and beyond' for his employer, which wagey/slave mentality.
>traitor got his early instead of at the end of the series
based
post the webms redditors I wanna cringe
there's nothing to webm
it's just people talking boring shit for 40 minutes
the show is boring with no compelling characters, aside from that imperial corpo dude
Was there not enough returning OT or PT characters for you anon?
No, there was not enough compelling reasons for me to give a shit about this generic sci-fi show. Go shill your shit on twitter.
I get man, I like lightsabers too but they don't have to be all SW media. You know?
/ourguy/ prediction?
he'll flock to the rebellion in a few episodes, sadly.
disney ain't gonna let a good man like him work for the ''evil fascist empire'' and put them in a good light
Cmon. Good imperial person ending up defecting was always the case even before disney
He dies before the end of the show.
Putting in his two weeks. Given the total horror that just happened he could get his pension.
Get a wife and move faaar into the core worlds. Frick all this shit.
Why do people think he's going to join the rebels? He's definitely going to become even more dogged at crushing rebel scum.
Exactly. He's a company man.
The best thing about this show is how not like other Star Wars shit it's been they won't have him defect.
Why did he insist?
Should have let it go
Ever work with some who does more for their job/employer for no benefit? Sad ladder climbers who willingly exploit themselves?
He's one of those.
muh brothers
muh thin blue line
No thanks. I think I’ll play through Dark Forced again instead.
How do you feel about Mon Mothma comitting some war crimes or making a fricked up decision? Because that's what the cast and crew of the show keep implying.
In nucanon Mon Mothma is the reason of First Order's survival and New Republic's doom anyway
How has this not been the standard for these shows?
Looking at Mando past season 1 and the Book of Boba Fett and Kenobi.
>"They clearly harassed a human with dark features and chose the wrong person to annoy"
kek
It's the best thing Disney Star Wars has done and it's not even close.
And it's because it's so divorced from everything we see in Star Wars. It's new and fresh.
We'll see if it comes out better than Visions.
>goyslop
I guess it took em a couple of shit shows to get a feel for streaming series or something. This shit is actually kino and feels like a proper high quality show, good shit. Hope we can expect more of this in the future
If the shower runner keeps true to his no fan service, this will be the best of nu-Wars.
>best of nu-Wars
lol @ shills forcing this meme, best of nu-wars is still garbage
how about you watch it first before you start dissing it you dum frick
Nobody on God's green Earth said that about the Kenobi show dude.
Why did Kenobi look so shitty? And this looks good...why
They use their Volume, Stage Craft thingy on everything.
Andor i believe shot on location and real sets
most of the production people of Andor from Chernobyl show too
There's clearly much more talented artists behind this project.
The best Star Wars show feels the least Star Wars-y
Why is that?
>copy bladerunner
>attach star wars name to it
Hmmm
i mean its all just tweaks of dune if you really want to get into it
The girl was awfully pretty and Cassin is quite handsome, I hope to see full penetration.
I think I saw her pusy when she puts on her pants.
Kino
>it’s actually kino
Never stopped believing, to be honest.
>doesnt feel like star wars
>yet if feeld more like star wars than ST
HOW
Someone tell Tony Gilroy that these are Separatists, and not the Republic.
Its easy to retcon into the natives not knowing the difference
You must be moronic to not know the difference. Marva and her Black person fricker somehow not knowing that these are separatists is moronic.
Man, normies dont see the difference between star trek and star wars
She literally says the Republic will be there any minute since this ship just took out a Republic officer. Frick. Tony Gilroy said he didn't "write down" to appease the morons who can't follow it (You).
You are stupid
Why did they make the symbols for separatists in look just like the Republic symbol
It's a just bit those officers were doing.
This is confirmed not goyslop guys, it's kinda good actually
Shills ITT are relentless, holy shit.
Nobody here will watch this legally, if anyone still gives a crap about Star Wars.
Already broke canon
>cis ship is said to be republic
Lmao, Disney sucks
>it's actually good
Who knew that when you're not trying to constantly pander to nostalgia and earn woke points, you could actually make quality material?
Makes you wonder how this slipped through the cracks. I didn't watch Kenboi past the pilot, the ugly nog who couldn't act given a monologue was wild.
>Black folk making fun of core ideas of SW sci-fantasy
>all nu-Wars no longer has a sci-fantasy samurai theme
>setting is a New York homeless camp rather than an alien planet
it's all so tiresome.
I feel nothing towards this show, not a single emotion. That's how much Disney killed Star Wars for me.
The lead women is very sexy, has a character, was in a loving heterosexual relationship. Is tough and smart but has failings. She doesn't realize her man narced and has a real reaction, like when you hurt your gf. She also gets brutalized by the cops.
The mother character is very maternal and has a strong and quiet resolve, like your grandma does.
HOW were they allowed to write these real, likeable women characters?
>a series about a nothing character from Rogue One has higher production values than every SW show
wtf
The people making it are just less moronic
It's really mind boggling, you'd think that the mouse would give all the good stuff and people to the Kenobi show.
Absolute trash. Utterly boring.
Scrolled scenes from ep1 to ep3 and I can't believe what I'm watching.
white people bad, poc good
You're baiting or the internet has melted you homosexual brain.
A white man saves the day. Every black had a background role in these three episodes.
Finished the first ep and so far the only real bad thing I have to say about the show is that there was a bit to much shaky cam for my tastes, but even then that's only a minor complaint.
The old b***h literally kidnapped Andor, she's no good
He was living in some Lord of the Flies shit anon.
The clone army was about to waste anyone remaining in that ship.
Why would they do that? Clones aren't trigger-happy morons like those fat ass corpo morons. They check their targets before shooting, and they have no reason to shoot them.
Well maybe Mom Andor isn't an expert on how the clones operate. That CIS ship had chemical weapons or something. The Republic might vaporize it from above just to be sure.
CSA - practically police officers , tactically competent, knows how move like real soldiers
Stormtroopers - Imperial’s Finest soldiers, LETS CHARGE IN AND DAKKADAKKA
Is this a subtle jab?
Those three episodes felt like a lot for not a lot of story progression. I mean it's an two hour movie (3x40 minutes) for barely act 1 set up. It's fine I guess. It's not offensively bad or shitting on lore. I don't know why they didn't just make a Dawn of the Rebellion anthology series with a few different storylines.
I'll handle this show the way I handled House of the Dragon. When my chud reviewers who hate Disney tell me it's actually good, I'll pirate it. Otherwise I won't even watch it for free.
Absoutely souless. There is nothing Star Wars about this show other than the title. This is Henry Gilroy wanking himself over another Bourne type series he gets to do. The man doesn't know anything about Star Wars. Jon Favs might be a hit or miss writer, but he understands what makes Star Wars (Star Wars!)
you could slap the title of this show and it would just be a standard gritty generic grimdark sci-fi show.
>There is nothing Star Wars about this show other than the title.
Which is why it's been the best live action series so far.
>Jon Favs might be a hit or miss writer, but he understands what makes Star Wars (Star Wars!)
And look what that got us.
What's so special about Andor's identity?
He is just an orphan kidnapped by a thief, she probably wanted him because she had no children
She didn't want a kid to die in potential crossfire. Not that hard to think one person might want another person to die if they can help them. Unless you are so austistic you lack conscience, I guess (You).
I am sick and tired of how many British people there are in Star Wars
Lad, even the first movie from 1977 was full of British people. Cantina scene was just British people extras etc. Loads of Star Wars since the original has been filmed in the UK.
This why I love Bill Burr in mando, hearing a Boston accent in Star Wars was great. Give me more regional accents like that.
This.
>OI M8 U WOT U GOT A LOISENSE FOR IT AIGH AIGH SIR OI OI U BLOODY BASTARD U FOOOKIN TWAT!
Fricking Christ, only Imperial Officers are allowed to sound English. Everyone else should shut the frick up. So annoying. I hate British "people".
Everyone in the Mandalorian Era has American accents, bar Boba Fett who is a Kiwi.
This fricking this enough with British "people" and their smug bullshit
So much of this shit is filmed in the UK. So you can't just ship in a bunch of foreigners for additional parts outside the main cast. And it's been this way since the first film.
This is why I boycott these movies. When I watched the fore nu wars and saw Rey and she was like "oi guvner, where is my bloody soisage roll m8" I turned that shit off and haven't been back since
>EMPIRE IS LE BAD THEREFORE EVERYONE IS FAT, ARROGANT, ANGRY AND INCOMPETENT!
This was supposed to be Star Wars for "adults"? Seems like the usual Star Wars to me. Frick me, those fat ass corporate "operatives" looked laughable.
>Mature
>First episode has a pig dog piss in a robot that looks like a fire hydrant
>b-but he said "Shit!"
>this is Star Wars for big boys!
>see poster for star wars show called Andor
>not one ewok on the poster
>go find the official YT trailer just to give it a dislike
Next thread when?
Never. Go back.
I don't understand how people still watch Star Wars crap in 2022 but with this show in particular I don't even understand how it got made. Who watched Rogue One and thought that completely forgettable sidekick should have their own TV show?
Because everyone is a pleb, who watch pleb shit shows to complain about it being for plebs because they don't have the attention span for anything more to them watch "video essayists" on plebtube endlessly dissect plebby pop culture to make plebs feel clever. Or why marketers claim shows like Andor are mature serious commentary for serious intelligent people and not plebs. People honestly think they are meta or intelligent for hate watching something. A significant portion of the audience for this shit watch to complain about it. Hence all these new streaming shows are constantly being talked about here.
People are addicted to anger and addicted to complaining and addicted to franchises.
Bizarre shill thread. Usually they work harder to get interest before a show is released but I never heard of this new slop until now.
>when they sent us to the chamber we we so afraid of getting the gas, I was so relieved when water came out of the shower head
NEW THREAD
why? literally no need for a new one frick off
