Too expensive and focused on the wrong attractions (ST instead of OT) from what I've heard. The lessons are 1) make it affordable for middle income households and 2) focus on stuff the fans like.

imagine this being a "lesson they learned" and not just the most fundamental basic common sense. the people in charge of this shit are genuinely moronic

    Tons went wrong.
    >they rush guests-it's not a relaxing time
    >everything is structured-YOU VILL ENJOY IT ZE DIZKNEE VAY
    >Food is gross looking (blue is a danger color)
    >the stay is too short
    >instead of exploring you're put into awkward situations with underpaid actors
    >the rooms are garbage
    >the entire place is too small
    >the design is toddler-tier

      >promise an ‘immersive’ experience
      >require guests to be using an app 75% of the time
A true immersive experience would force people to not look at their phones for once, the experience is just moronic on the most basic level

The design does not feel particularly Star Wars. They could have recreated the Original Trilogy feel, even a whole section with recreations of the original locations, sure some of them would be borderline deadly but nothing a tour guide can't solve.

i have the idea that sex is forbidden in this hotel, it's ridiculous to have that kind of apprehension, ergo a hotel dedicated to a children's franchise is inherently flawed in its basis, it's like making a videogame out of kubrick's 2001

    >NO TIME FOR SEX WE'RE ALREADY LATE FOR THREE DIFFERENT SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES ON OUR ITINERARY AND FOUR OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT WERE ADDED IN REALTIME FROM THE APP
    >NO TIME FOR SHOWERS
    >NO TIME TO WATCH TRAILERS ON THE TEENY TINY TV
    >LIEUTENANT CROY IS GHOSTING ME ON THE APP BUT IT'S OKAY I KNOW WHERE TO FIND HIM
    >CROY'S ASS WILL BE MINE
Paying for this for two days sounds unimaginable to me, but people did it. Some people did it multiple times.

Experience is based on the new movies. No one saw them and no one wants to see them. Why would you dedicate a weekend and thousands of dollars to something you don't care about?

It unironically wasn't expensive enough. I'd pay more money than most of you losers make in exchange for rimming with twi'lek girls on my skyhook. Instead it was just a concrete box selling continental breakfast and extremely loose roleplay. A girl needs more.

Maybe the reason none of the actors wanted to interact with them was because one of them looked like a monster?

I tried to think of a major reason, but I think the prices they wanted were so ridiculous for what it offered. My hate of Disney Wars aside, I think there's a market for a larp experience, just not one this obtuse.

They should've had a massive ball pit room modeled after the garbage compressor in sw with huge foam props. And you could frick twileks in it.

Bad designs: The hotel took almost no cues from Cloud City, Coruscant, Tantive IV or even Canto Bight. The hallways looked more like the ice tunnels from Hoth and the mechanical sets like the bridge and engine room were more from Alien.

Expensive LARP experience, too much for the LARP-ing audience to pay. You could get a similar experience for $50 at a con, minus the special effect LED screens and the buffet.

Didn't include free tickets to the rest of Disney; you don't even take a Disney Cruise to spend all your time on one deck or going to just 2 bars and 1 restaurant.

    >What went wrong? What are the lessons learned?

It's quite simple. It needed to be an abattoir. Guests are immediately shot in the head with a captive bolt pistol upon arrival and fed into giant pulverizing blenders that process their corpses into bite-sized chunks. Add a little marrowbone jelly, can it and finally ship it out to Walmarts across the country to be sold as dog food.
