The prequels were still George Lucas telling Star Wars stories, but, I do draw the line between them and the sequels, which I don't abide with.
There is maybe one good video game for Star Wars on its way, which is Star Wars: Outlaws. That ought to be my sendoff for this series, if anything else is worse.

I quit watching after The Last Jedi. I thought Kylo Ren was an interesting bad guy and the ending with Luke Skywalker being handed his light saber made me want more but TLJ ruined everything. Thank you Rian Johnson for making me see what a moron I was.
Lando is an interesting character with a decent if not vital story/arc. The fact that BDW is black was incidental to the role, not essential to it. Harambe on the other hand is a maudlin performer, Finn's char is written by libtard drama majors who had no inkling of what his overall story should be about. They just wanted *black guy* in the reboot because Yidsney wants that ESG money more than they care about actually telling a good tale. I dont give a flying frick anymore but since you asked.

Originally Finn was supposed to be played by Jesse Plemons and be a comic relief stormtrooper that gains his own individuality and characterization over time but was rewritten for the diversity quota. John Boyega is actually a decent actor and I liked him in They Cloned Tyrone but he was miscast and miswritten in order to have a black “star” which is why he had nothing of consequence to do in movies two and three of the sequel slop trilogy.
By spreading out the blame to as many people as possible eventually nobody actually takes the blame for it and they can start making the next dogshit project using the exact same people.

2. Terrible project costs a fortune and is a catastrophic failure.
3. Blame as many people as possible for the failure.
4. Face zero consequences.
5. Repeat.
