NOW KISS
Now Kiss.
>You’re comparing yourself to me? HA, You aren’t even good enough to be my fake!
Finally, I can tell Katie to literally go frick herself and I won't be grammatically incorrect.
Seconds or it’s commonly referred to “How I learnt how to be a huge c**t and get away with it for dummies”
I rarely ever see people talk about Seconds... Is it worth sticking around for a read?
Read the first thread and decide that for yourself, Anon.
You're late, bro. Go check out the other thread first then come back here.
Read it. It's a simple faustian story, but it's fun.
Just read it dude. If you don't think you have anything better to do, there's no harm in reading this thing.
Yes, since you'll want to do it before the Seconds movie comes out
The lesson is only warp reality four or five times.
That's the sweetspot. Any more and you're just being greedy.
Even doing it multiple times is fine as long as you don't dump literal witch ashes over the mushrooms.
That's the thing. Did Katie frick up because she messed with time or because she unknowingly brought another spirit into the home? It feels like BLOM couldn't quite commit to the idea that Katie is the architect of her own problems here and created this witch for her to deal with instead.
My guess is that he felt the story needed something else to stand out from the many stories about people's wishes biting them back so he added the witch element but doesn't know how to align the two as well as he thought.
>My guess is that he felt the story needed something else to stand out from
Lis and the whole tree reality ramifications could have been enough elements to stand out and end the conflict.
Like the reality tree not being able to create more ramifications and Katie having to choose between a finite number of realities with different pros and cons. Keeping 1 thing and losing all the other ones.
Or all the texts written in the notebook end up being cumulative and after Katie making incogruent requests the reality tree is unable to place Katie in another Reality and instead sends her to a Void reality.
> and created this witch for her to deal with instead
With Lis limitations, with or without Witch, feels like the Universe conspires to give Katie a happy ending without learning anything
> be Katie
> go to 2nd restaurant in progress
> constructor asks about antique stuff found in the building
> tell him to throw the hell out of everything
> keep warping reality every night
> try to dedicate revisions to grow more shrooms (maybe get an infinite supply)
> store shrooms out everyone's reach (home spirits and real people)
> thanks to Hazel, know how to, at least, keep Lis confortable enough to stay neutral
> If Lis rebels, get all the furniture out of the home, except the red drawer and the bed
> whatever you screw up IRL or between reality revisions, you somehow will still have Hazel's friendship
> PROBLEM REALITY?
anon the witch literally was katie
I just realised this is just Negascott all over again
Negascott was the repressed shittiness of a 20 something dude who was otherwise alright. Katie sucks way more and does way less to deserve a dub here. Shit, she changes reality to be MORE malicious to people. Continually acting out of immediate self interest shouldn't be considered a noble act. Negakatie does too much fricky shit for things to read like katie is the person who created her own problems, and more as an external threat. Which is the oft used excuse of selfish and vain people such as katie so maybe its secretly brilliant idk.
well yeah, it's the same universe. everyone has a nega-self here
What if the spirit got pissed again because she broke their special chair? I wouldn’t have risked it. Go get some firewood from outside
From where outside exactly?
>"We?"
I'll always be baffled by katie's very selective use of Plural pronouns.
?t=2
If I was Lis I would never forgive her for this shit.
damn, matchstick girl vibes.
>I wish Katie was never born
>Nibbles
I wish I gave the first mushroom to hazel
Thanks Katie. We could've lived in a world where everything was the same except I didn't have hideous arm scars. But because of your bullshit we had to revert back to Burnland.
>friends
>with your boss who only started talking to you after you were burned in a workplace incident that was partially due to her negligence
Hazel please lawyer up
Katie kinda gets away with it all but Hazel has to remain scarred. That kinda sucks.
Wish I could scratch them for her
hazel love
>I need to become a better person
You'd better be a fricking SAINT from this day moving forward. Know with your whole hear that you DON'T deserve this.
I wish I had a friend who's risk mild pain to hold my hand
>I need to become a better person
>Ewww, your hands are SLIMEY wtf Hazel
some kind of people genuinely deserve to fricking die alone, no relationships, no friends, nada
Reading this for a second time now, I think this is by far my most hated page in the comic. Katie did nothing for Hazel. It was always about her shit and barely gave Hazel anything more than surface level interest.
But Katie, despite treating people as secondary characters in her story, was granted a friendship she didn't build or even deserve. Frick Katie and frick her happy ending.
It was going so well, man wtf is this?
Amazing commitment to character growth, Katie.
(That was SARCASM.)
What was the point of all that then?
>I DON'T apologize
Maybe that's the problem b***h
Katie...
I have never hated a main character as much as her. I'm literally wondering if BLOM made her in response to people who hated Scott to show that "yes it could be much worse" because every time I START to come around to her she pulls this shit.
> I didn't learn anything
Man I'm just tired of her attitude.
I see what BLoM's trying to do here. She's adressing her concerns straight up instead of avoiding him like she's been doing. The problem is that Katie is already in-your-face and direct. So this doesn't feel like "lesson learned" It feels like she hasn't changed at all. What she needed to show hear is humility. Not be confrontational. Just a "Hey can we talk about 'us' " sorta thing where she finally lays out her feelings and why she didn't tell him about Lucky's. But she just comes across here as a really toxic person and if I was Max I'd be thinking "Damn I dodged a bullet"
Throughout the whole story, Katie's problem was her unwillingness to listen and even in this final act she's still not listening. She's just talking over people and having it work out for her.
I remember disliking this book because I thought the protagonist was an unlikable shit who got away without any real consequences for her actions
>I would have let you in eventually
How would he know this? Why do you expect him to keep being around and available until you want him back?
Jesus girl.
SHE DOESN'T DESERVE THIS. IS HER vegana MAGIC? IS SHE THE HEIR TO A DIAMOND MINE? WHY WOULD YOU TAKE HER BACK!? SHE HASN'T CHANGED.
No YOU get in the kitchen, b***h.
Spike = Max
intern art = Katie
>BLOM's hair bob fetish turned Hazel into a mop.
>Hazel cut her hair
>Hazel also started wearing long sleeves to cover up her hideous burn scars btw
I am going to be pissed if this was literally the story behind the creation of the comic irl
Katie I refuse to believe you've learned a lot. Your actions had no consequences and your relationships are better than ever despite the fact that you haven't started treating people better.
>God-fearing Christian is a gay man
Nice.
Katie stop being a b***h jfc, Patrick was like the other constant when everyone got skellied
BASED Andrew.
Also that Gem shirt makes the sonic comparison even harder not to make.
>I heard your new boss is a real butthole
>unlike me
(X) Doubt
Patrick got best girl. That's all that matters.
Maybe he can convince her to grow her hair out again.
Man Katie might be an butthole but I would absolutely manhandle her tiny body. Just lok at her in the second panel mang.
>Man Katie might be an butthole but I would absolutely manhandle her tiny body
For the other anon who asked why Seconds isn't infamous for it's butthole protagonist, this is why.
There's alot you can get away with if you're hot.
>I would absolutely manhandle her tiny body
Who wouldn't? While you do it, she playfully taunts you while you go at it.
All the world's gems are mine to keep.
>her sucessful dream restaurant and her dream man
So she got everything that she wanted anyway. SP's ending where the future is uncertain but SP and Ramona are still willing to take a leap of faith is WAY better.
Wouldn't she still have owed $12K to the construction company? I know it's not important to the overall story, but it makes me wonder.
Her story is pretty much how 95% of all Kitchen Nightmares get so fricked. "Abloobloo we opened up a restaurant because our chef thought she was hot shit and we ended up turning a building under the bridge into a restaurant with debt we can't afford because of our shit location, GORDON SAVE US!"
>Gordon Ramsey cussing out a ghost in a cursed restaurant for making the walls bleed because it’s fricking unhygienic and then cursing out the owner for buying a cursed restaurant they couldn’t afford to upkeep properly
My assumption was that her making peace with the cauldron witch/house spirit made the building less fricked up, and that her dumping it at Seconds was what made the location's repairs cost even more in the marriage timeline.
What a shitty rushed ending. Its literally a "They all lived happily ever after"
It's the O'Malley special.
Chrono Trigger reference with Katie's outfit
And here I thought she was a Kunoichi or something.
Neat
That is probably the worst ending line I've ever seen in my life. "But she never saw another house spirit"? Seriously? Narrator has been really shit this entire comic, the fourth wall interaction in the beginning was a bit funny but overall it's done nothing but tell instead of simply showing.
I really like the first half of seconds and how she fails to escape her never ending sins but the witch shit and the fact she gets away with it all knocks it down a peg.
You can have unlikable characters who get away with it, I love Megg Mogg and Owl but Katie’s life is a little TOO perfect for how little she grew. Have her be punished more or actually have her grow to earn this ending but you can’t do both.
That said I’d hatefrick Katie hard
The end.
Thanks for another storytime OP!
Thanks for the food OP
Thanks doc, When it comes to your story times, I’d come back for seconds
Thanks OP. I liked this better than Scott Pilgrim.
The acknowledgments are interesting to me because it goes to show how much richer you can make a story working together. The restaurant stuff in the story had attention to detail that made it feel more realistic to me.
That was a really quaint comic. Thanks for the storytime OP
Book credits.
Thanks to OP for spending a few hours posting this comic for randos online to read. It's way more than Katie would have done for anyone.
I feel like Nathan carried this comic. Because the coloring was the standout. That's honestly the best I can say about this comic. Katie was awful and an adaptation of this comic would cause online drama for a week just because of how unlikable she is.
>Katie was awful and an adaptation of this comic would cause online drama for a week just because of how unlikable she is
Anon…
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/blake-lively-directorial-debut-seconds-1235138164/
I brought it up because I saw people discussing a potential adaptation in the previous thread. Now nothing's set in stone. But I'm willing to bet that the female director is somehow going to find a way to make Katie less willing to accept accountability.
>hazel
>gets horribly disfigured with 2nd and 3rd degree burns
>is an art student so is almost definitely in pain while drawing
>got previously bullied in the workplace for being… tall and pretty and shy
>but now they tolerate her since they basically perceive her as getting knocked down a peg
>Katie
>fricked over multiple lives on a cosmic and quantum level
>gets EVERYTHING
But anon, she gave Lis the last bit of magic she stole from her back that means she learned a lesson!
It was still enjoyable but boy howdy Katie really is just the worst. Somehow BLOM looked at Scott and Ramona and said "I can make an even worse protagonist". Unlikable protagonists are a thing at the end of the day and can still be engaging but it's almost comical the level of escalation
Katie was Star Butterfly before Star Butterfly
Thanks OP for all the storytimes. Now I need to figure out what to say about this comic besides screaming for twenty seconds.
I've literally been like this on the final pages
When the Scott Pilgrim storytime started, I was actually fearful of not remembering stuff correctly and my 13ish years of new experiences would make me change my mind on what once was of my favourite comics back then. But no, rereading it actually cemented everything I took for granted in those books: that both Scott and Ramona are scumbag buttholes and deserve eachoter and that the secondary characters and exes were much more interesting
But that actually happened with Seconds, I am on the age range of Katie and jesus fricking christ on a pogo stick this ending actually infuriates me so much. I don't fricking remember what my reaction was back then but I forgot how much the main character was a fricking mess of a human being.
Scott and Ramona are dogshit people blah blah blah etc. but they are barely hitting the mid 20s, they still have room to improve and grow up emotionally.
Katie is one step shy from entering her 30s and is somehow even more of an immature butthole than those two at the start of the comic combined,
thank you very much OP, godspeed and merry chirstmas!
Scott and Ramona aren’t actively malicious like Katie are, Katie straight up reworded time so she could keep fricking a guy without commitment when he laid his heart to her and then rewind Ed her cheating so she could do it again.
She’s a fricking monster
Yeah, at least Scott Pilgrim had interesting secondary characters. This story had Max, Lis, Andrew and Hazel and I only really cared about Lis and Hazel. Max and Andrew just didn't bring anything that made me want to see them again.
I wanted to make an easy comparison to Steins Gate, how the big appeal to that VN/anime wasn't so much the ultra-chuuni time travel plot as it was the insanely likable and memorable cast.
what scott does in his head unconsciously, katie was doing to reality
That's a good tagline for the book lol
It's funny because it's true
Indian girls are my kryptonite
And we're done. I hope you guys liked spending 300+ pages with Katie, Bryan Lee O'Malley's most lovable character yet. As for me, after seven long days the ghost of Scott Pilgrim and all associated characters has finally been exorcised from my body, and now I can go back to doing all the actual work I should've done a week ago. So long.
Thanks, man. It was a good time.
So long man, thanks for everything!
Thanks. I've ready SP before, but this was my first time with Seconds.
Thanks OP, its been a fun ride all the way through.
On a related note, BLOM is the type of guy who can really inspire people to make comics. He can inspire people by writing good stories, and he can inspire people by making absolutely dogshit drivel that could only be thought up by a person with a prolonged state of existence in LA. For showing this truly inspirational figure to so many new readers, you have my thanks.
>"Sorry OP, but if you want to face me you'll have to storytime my seven evil graphic novels"
8 unless lost at sea doesn't count
Glad omelly posting is becoming a thing
Thanks op
Thanks, OP! This has been fun. I'd never read Seconds. Now, thanks to you, I'm grateful I didn't spend a dime on it when it came out.
Thanks for doing this, OP. It's been a fricking wild week and it's been nice to re-read these books and shoot the shit with all of you.
Oh, and don't touch that dial, everyone. Tomorrow I'll be be doing another BLOM storytime.
Lost at sea, snotgirl, or his webcomic stuff?
Lost at Sea. I haven't actually read the latter two, are they good?
Well, the last time I read all of snotgirl that was out at the time was before I developed taste, so I don't know exactly. Iirc it felt like a shittier princess jellyfish set in LA.
As for the webcomics, I don't know where to read them in the first place but would like to read them very much.
i was scraping them a while back but never bothered to finish it, maybe because they're just artworks and not comics.
not sure, didn't check.
would've loved it if someone bother to and share on here though; readme in the .txt.
>pre-SP BLOM webcomics
https://qu.ax/rJsQ.7z
That link is sketchy as frick, would a storytime be possible?
Lost at Sea was one of those works I read when I was 18-19 and it meant a lot to me at the time. It's been ten years since I really sat down with it, so maybe it'll mean something different to me now. I'm interested to see.
I read it after finishing SP and remember thinking that it didn't seem to quite hit what it was going for. I'll have to go back and check it out again though because I honestly barely even remember what it's about.
>I read it after finishing SP and remember thinking that it didn't seem to quite hit what it was going for
It is his first major work before SP and it's certainly a flawed piece. I was also in a particular place at that time in my life (similar to Knives, honestly), so Lost at Sea hit a little different then.
>Tomorrow I'll be be doing another BLOM storytime.
Hey, better you than me. I'm officially tapped out.
What're you going to do now? Also, what comic is this?
>What're you going to do now?
Study for my finals, finish my papers, renovate the house, the works. Also I have no idea, I grabbed the image way too long ago to remember.
>Study for my finals, finish my papers, renovate the house, the works.
Sounds like you really got it together, anon, damn.
Best of luck. I've got a similar weekend ahead. The only reason I've really been able to sit down and enjoy these threads is because I've been sick the past 24 hours.
>what comic is this?
Emanon
Adios, anon. Revisiting the comics has been great and I sure as shit wouldn't have gone out of my way to read them myself.
cya anon, i appreciate the storytime! Scot pilgrim left a bit of an impression on me and made me want to make some changes in my life, so just know that you hopefully made the world a better place by storytiming
Thanks for sharing OP. Was fun to follow all of this! TYFYS.
Just gonna post this thing I drew from last storytime.
More
Nice.
I’ve missed your art. There haven’t really been any DOA threads lately unless I keep missing them.
I dunno I haven't checked. That said I have still been drawing shitloads of DOA art now and then. But ever since imgur cracked on NSFW i'm not sure where I wanna post my stuff.
Put it on the-colletion maybe?
Twitter? They still allow porn there.
They allow porn but unless you get really popular, you're under threat of suspension at any moment for no given reason.
And that applies even if you don't draw porn.
Mostly I just feel weird posting my DOA stuff to twitter. I dunno why? I guess I don't wanna be known as "That DOA fanartist" on my main accounts.
You could always just open up a DOA alt that's linked in your bio. Like, I've seen artists have like 3-4 Twitters, one for their art, one for their rants, one for a niche interest, one for porn, etc. I would imagine it's more to keep up with, but it at least keeps your main free from feeling cluttered by your one or two major interests.
>DOA
any other webcomics you like drawing? or comics generally?
Been dipping my toe into drawing some Girls with Slingshots stuff. Maybe I'll eventually draw some others, not sure. Maybe something for It Hurts/Please forgive me.
You got a top 5 recommendations for comics and cartoons, particularly ones you like/would like to draw?
Yoto, more of them please!
How do you make an MC with no redeeming features and whose solution to nearly every problem is to dig herself deeper, and then expect people to root for her?
Scott's descent and salvaging was rushed for time in the last volume, but throughout the first four we'd seen he'a got his own upsides and redeeming traits despite his comically absurd density, and it's not like Ramona was someone absent those same sorts of flaws. They were two jerks of a kind and the appeal of their relationship should've been them forgiving and making up for their mutual screwups.
The hell are we supposed to take from Katie and her being so entitled and self-absorbed to the point where she cheats on her dream marriage?
> How do you make an MC with no redeeming features and whose solution to nearly every problem is to dig herself deeper, and then expect people to root for her?
Incase says hi, go read the comments for this comic if you want to peer into the abyss of madness
I remember reading Seconds back when it came out. I LOVED Scott Pilgrim (still do) and I was excited to see what O'Malley was gonna do next. And I remember reading it and just...not liking Katie. And not even in a "you're not supposed to like her kinda way". She felt bad in a "Why would you write her like this kinda way?" And to this day it BAFFLES me that this book isn't infamous. Katie isn't just a Bad Protagonist. She drags the whole story down. this story didn't HAVE to suck but Katie is SO hard to like. And keep in mind I LOVE Ramona. and Scott. I can absolutely ignore some shitty character traits if the character is fun. But Katie never really learns, or improves, or gets better and the narrative kinda Necessitates that she's dumb as bricks to keep letting this happen. I am honestly shocked this story didn't tank BLoM's career. I don't even see the book brought up, and when I do it usually gets an "oh yeah it's cool" or "I liked it" and that's insane to me because while the art is good, the layout is good and the overview is fine the actually execution is fricking tragic.
I mean he hasn't done anything original since seconds. Years later and he's still coasting by on the success of scott pilgrim. Dude honestly owes Edgar Wright a blowjob for making his little comic a multi-media franchise.
>Years later and he's still coasting by on the success of scott pilgrim
And yet he's so bitter about it that he had the chance to make an animated adaptation with netflix and used it to give a giant middle finger to all fans of the comic.
I haven't watched it yet. Mainly because there's so much other stuff to watch right now.
At least it wasnt dog wiener
snotgirl?!
Remember manchildren: If you cheat on your spouse, just feed some shrooms to your Nisse to make it all better
Gotta say, having Stephen Stills cameo twice, once with Julie and once with Joseph, was a deceptively clever way to indicate that Katie fricking with the mushrooms is sending her to alternate universes. I also take it to mean that Katie was the one who turned Stephen Stills gay
>In SP, Julie's b***hiness turns Stephen gay
>In Seconds, Katie's b***hiness and general asswittedness turns Stephen gay.
Damn. Steve can't catch a break. He keeps getting gayified by evil women.
So I loved rereading SP and glad it still holds up pretty well. I’ve only read Seconds once and even resold the book after I was done. That’s how much I didn’t like it. Sounds like everyone here felt similar lol
It’s just…kind of boring. And everything is so frustrating. Like Scott is an idiot who should know better but he’s on the cusp of becoming a better person and he’s a funny guy to read. Just him misunderstanding small things is funny, but with Katie it felt like she should DEFINITELY know better BUT the universe still rewards her. Like imagine if at the end of SP Scott became a successful rich musician and started a harem with envy, Ramona, knives and Kim. That’s how undeserved Katie’s ending feels.
Also did anyone feel like the “moral” of this comic is so much more heavy handed than in Scott pilgrim? It’s like yeah the art is real cute but the writing is so much worse than any of the SP comics. Hazel is basically useless except for exposition and a doll for BLOM to dress up in stylish outfits. It’s just not good.
Was there even a moral? She doesn't take accountability for shit and gets everything anyway.
the moral is uhhh... talk frankly with your ex instead of using magic mushrooms
Listen to the weird glowing gremlin spirit things.
>Was there even a moral?
Supposedly it was just "Accept your mistakes and move on" but the only reason Katie changing her past backfired at all was because she accidentally pissed off some witch who put her in weird universes to frick with her.
And even then, it's not like Katie paid any price for her mistakes. Hazel is the one with the scars to show for Katie's lessons.
>Jesus Fricking Christ. What did we learn, Palmer?
I don't know sir.
>I don't fricking know either. I guess we learned not to do it again. I'm fricked if I know what we did.
Yes sir, it's hard to say.
If I had a dollar for everytime I quoted this scene whenever I finished a dogshit story in any type of media
Man Blade Runner 2077 was a better movie than it has any right to being. I'm glad we managed to get that on Toonami this time two years ago.
I’d say this is
more or less the moral. Just a simple take the good with the bad and keep trying kind of thing. Seconds was much more a tell don’t show kind of story and SP wasn’t that at all. Maybe a little at the end but it was much more subtle than seconds was. Like at the end Katie is literally reading one of those corny feel good signs
Like yeah very clever BLOM love laugh love ha ha ha
I don't know about moral. But the life lesson is that sometimes people can make shitty decisions and still get rewarded for it. Just like BLOM made a shitty comic and still got paid for it.
It's kind of weird that the ending of Scott Pilgrim is beautiful and metaphorical and the ending of this is just depressingly literal
Wait no what's the opposite of weird, banal
This is a banal book and I'm not surprised Ryan Reynold's wife jumped at the chance to direct it
Apparently BLOM wrote this at the start of his divorce.
Was he also cheating on his wife?
Why DID they get divorced, anyways?
>Why would a manic pixie dream BPD nutcase divorce her husband just as the Hollywood money starts rolling in?
Truely a question for the ages.
He probably waited a bit too long to have the, "So, I need you to defeat my seven evil ex girlfriends" talk with her.
Why do you assume she was the problem? From what I heard she moved back to her home in North Carolina and BLOM stayed.
Well, his self insert is the dude, at least visually. So maybe she was cheating on him?
>BLOM's self-insert was a somewhat superficial, Hollywood-type in Seconds
Wild how he changed when he left Canada.
yes he was, he is kind of notorious for sleeping with fans if you talk to people in the comic world
>he is kind of notorious for sleeping with fans if you talk to people in the comic world
got any more details on this?
Kek he was Ramona the whole time
He has dyed hair now too.
In Katie's defence Andrew really was being dumb here. You sleep with a married woman, your boss no less, and you act shocked and offended when she doesn't make you the most important thing in your life?
He was a young and dumb man working in food service. This is common practice.
The worst part of this comic is that Hazel still ended up burned at the end. Meaning she was the one who got punished for all of Katie's mistakes. I don't know how Lis is doing but she's probably glad to know she'll never see Katie again.
The situation Katie's in seems to have been caused by Lis fixing things so I guess she must've felt something for Katie to not put her in a worse spot or she figured if Katie was in a position where she'd frick everything up again if things were put back exactly as they were. The epilogue also states that Katie began leaving bread for her at the dresser even though she can't see her anymore. So she's still seeing Katie but at least she gets free food from it
On the one hand, thanks OP.
On the other hand, this shit fricking sucked.
noice.
Cute.
Loving these sketches
>Should of
Nice touch
It killed me inside to write it but I had to be true to the character.
Anon won't get hurt by a kick in the dick! Tell 'em, Anon!
This story deserved a better ending, i liked the concept
Overall I really liked the story (even tho some anons here have explained why Katie essentially learned nothing and kept everything) and I was surprised how much art wise in general O'Malley improved, I was never a fan of SP art even when it started to become more cartoony.
A multiverse?
It's exactly like my Marvel slop!
Based O'Malley does it again!
who is cuter knives or hazel?
Hazel
Knives
Hazel shows less complexity in the story, so on that level knives is cuter.
They both have the best outfits of their respective series so it's kind of hard to tell.
Hazel absolutely ruined her hair at the end though, so I'm thinking knives wins.
>Hazel shows less complexity in the story
Hazel being a flatter character makes sense at least in the sense of the story. Knives's progress happens through six books, while Hazel isn't really even a secondary storyline outside of her relation to Katie in the sole book she's in.
Knives is hotter, Hazel is Cuter.
Look Katie might be selfish and stubborn but I could totally fix her.
Attention, Cinemaphile: I want to impregnate Hazel. That is all.
I wanted to finish this before the thread died.
Cute
Can't remember if you've shared your social media account already.
yotomoe1 on twitter. Also yotomoe on blusky but I keep forgetting to post there.
I love your stuff
Reminder Scott didn't reserve Kim
Love this comic, and I appreciate the amount of pinups it generated
O'Malley really likes drawing sexy girls. I respect that.
>Bought this when it came out
>Never read it
I guess now is as good a time as any
One of the biggest strengths of Scott Pilgrim is the huge cast of memorable characters, meaning that even if you don't like Scott and Ramona (which is understandable) there's still a bunch of other characters to focus on. Conversely, Seconds' biggest weakness has to be that the whole comic is all Katie all the time, plus like three other people who all revolve around her. With a main character as grating as her, you need some breathing room.
Andrew would be a fun guy to get into the head of, partially because he gets shit on nonstop by this comic.
BRIAN, NO MORE TIME TRAVEL BRIAN! STOP! STOP WITH THE TIME TRAVEL!!! BRIAN STOP IT!1!!1!1 STOP IT BRIAN!!! NOOOO!!!!
bamp
Reading and watching O Maidens on a rec from an anon in these threads. Thank you, this thing is hilarious.
Sex with hazel
Didn’t BLOM have a hotturbofashionbawds comic cooking up? Did he bail?
He has not finished it... yet. Hopefully one day if you're into that sort of things. Honestly its kinda suck.
It's probably gonna become lost media at this point.
