>is now forgotten

Pretty sad. Especially since it wasn’t even some gradual decline like GOT. Season 4 was great for the most part. Then the writers went full retard with the finale because “people don’t change” is apparently a serious belief they have (unless you’re a criminal in prison, then they think you can totally change)

Your retarded point would make more sense if the final episode itself didn't spend 30 minutes of the final episode having them make up and become friends in a natural way.

yes I'm so glad that in 30 minutes they were able to stop fighting and all just get along despite their differences and defeat the Cinemaphile swede

What are all their differences that you're so hung up on? Roman randomly deciding to attack Ken's kids parentage and Roman and Shiv pretending that they didn't tell Ken to get over killing someone in the last season? Yeah those are some really intense differences that were built up all series long.

When did any of them change? There was no way any of the siblings would get the throne, you delusional Kencel. That would mean the writers are rewarding the characters for being horrible people

They could 'not change' and make the same choices but just have better dialogue at the end there that doesn't ignore the conversations they themselves had. If the show doesn't value what happened in the show, then obviously I don't either, and that just leaves the last episode being a mini-encapsulation of the whole series in the most unrealistic inhuman way ever.

They don’t need to become besties and get along for them to win against Matsson.

Uncle Ewan despised Logan and literally didn’t see him for over a decade. Yet voted with the family.

The show is just retarded. How the fuck can you write seasons of character development and then try to pass off the message as “people don’t change”

It’s on the same tier as “I never really cared for the people anyway” from Jaime Lannister

        Imagine being this retarded.

          >logan wanted the deal

          So? He’s dead.

Unless you’re a brainlet who thinks Logan was incapable of making mistakes (even though he was literally selling Waystar to Matsson for billions less than was offered by Sandie in previous seasons) then what exactly is your point?

Plus. Even if you think it’s about “respecting Logan’s wishes”

Logan specifically did not sell ATN. That wasn’t part of the deal. After he died, Matsson demanded it. Something Logan would never have given

I'm saying Ewan's vote was not some heartfelt moment or character growth. It's the option that disrespects Logan the most.
There is no character growth because they're all horrible fucking people.

Plus. Whichever way you cut it. The writers simply don’t make sense. Characters did change as stupid as the changes are. Their primary goal in trying to craft the story makes no sense

Yeah the finale really took a fat dump on the whole show. They already had the perfect "Kendall loses" ending at the end of s3. Even as a kenbro I was very satisfied with that. But they pussied out of it just to have him rise and fail AGAIN, this time just in a less satisfying way and having him behave totally out of character

The only relevant episodes in Season 4 was Connor's Wedding, Kill List, Church and State, and the finale. Nothing else happens in any of the other episodes of any meaning or consequence. This is what happens when you get the weaker of the 2 British Political comedy writers to do a show like this.

It's always a misdirection. They don't have to change, they just have to behave in a way that acknowledges past conversations, instead they are just algorithms repeating their lines. Great, it's consistant.

You're telling me Ratfucker Sam and the other fixers under Logan's employ couldn't have found this out months ago when it took Roman 1 day to figure this out? Yeah, sure okay. Makes sense.

This would be much easier to accept if you shared Armstrong's contempt of Kendall. If you were literally never suppose to root for him or care about his endeavors or emphasize with his flaws or see his potential to be a better person, it would be fine to watch his house of cards crumble. But you'd effectively ruined the impact of episodes like S2's finale, Safe Room, Too Much Birthday, S3's finale, and Church And State. But hey, what do I know

      Anonymous

It makes no sense. Outside of Jesse Armstrong’s utter contempt of white men really.

He says people can’t change. Does he want permanent prison sentences for all those violent black criminals? Oh no. That’s different. They can be reformed and released.

Amazing the show managed to be as good as it was with the other writers tard wrangling Armstrong

Why is Mattson a serious person but Kendall isn't? Especially after his Holocaust joke, his stalker-ish Ebba obsession and his cringy "privacy, pussy, pasta" catchphrase. The man is an all season clown but Armstrong had him win because uhhh
