On June 25, 2007, police entered Benoit's home in Fayetteville, Georgia,[150] when WWE, Benoit's employers, requested a "welfare check" after Benoit missed weekend events without notice, leading to concerns.[151] The officers discovered the bodies of Benoit, his wife Nancy, and their 7-year-old son Daniel at around 2:30 p.m. EDT.[152] Upon investigating, no additional suspects were sought by authorities.[153] It was determined that Benoit had committed the murders.[154] Over a three-day period, Benoit had killed his wife and son before committing suicide.[7][8] His wife was bound before the killing. Benoit's son was drugged with Xanax and likely unconscious before Benoit strangled him.[155] Benoit then committed suicide by hanging himself on his lat pulldown machine.[154][156]

I remember seeing 21 jump street as a kid, and in the very first episode someone jumps off a building.
We all thought that was radical.

I remember watching "flatliners" as a kid, where a group of medical students kill and re-animate themselves.
And there is one character that looks into the sunset and says: "today is a good day to die."

This line felt like my future self is saying, that sentence jumped towards me like its my fate, it felt so real and good and true.

But this thread is really just about how films portray the off of offs.

is the series at least good?

First one that comes to mind. Fricking up the break and flopping around kind of put me off the idea of hanging as a form of suicide. No idea if it's realistic though.

ive heard it is. at the same tiem lack of oxygen gives you a high. But i think that one can be done with an OD.
I think hanging in movies is a sign that its supposed to be gruelsome, it should represent how they felt about living: the paddling and struggling and wrestling with all there is.

Shouldn't there be a lot more blood

yes, but the cuts indicate self harm, not trying it. Thats why she wipes it off quickly.

      >have to watch Dead Poets Society at school
      >kid an heros
      >joke to friend that the guy who finds him is gonna "NOOOOOOOO" dramatically in slow motion

      ?t=220

in this instance it was a good effect, as it looks like the boys consciousness fading away, time slows down, voices become stronger as they fade out simultaneously.

Would be better title, I agree!

I see no proper depiction of what I’ve asked for.

      What movie is this from?
