its going to be a wild ride when batman enters public domain and people realize they'll be limited exclusively to "kill all bad guys" gun toting monster hunter batman.
While early Batman is indeed different, it only took a year or two to settle into what is essentially modern batman. You could take a lot of older issues and outside of art and writing style (they read like a radio show being heavy on narration), they wouldn't feel out of place.
it is worth noting that even in Robin's first appearance they BOTH killed people or allowed a bad guy to die, in fact their whole plot to catch Zucco was to take a photo of him throwing a henchman to his death on the construction site, while doing nothing to save the guy
Did you just learn about this today?
It's well known that Batman killed people until this story, then the company instituted a no-kill rule.
It's not well known.
>having to number your panels
Pshh what an amateur mistake!
Didnt chris do the same thing in his sonichu comics?
It also skips from 5 to 10, then the last panel is unnumbered. Am I missing something here?
It might be on the opposite page, but I don't have my copy on hand and don't remember them doing that much early on.
I prefer examples where he kills or lets people die in the 70s and 80s, like using henchmen as human shields
test
>DIIIIIIIEEEEE YOU FRICKIN RAT BASTARD!!!!!
Man-monster lifes matter, they did nothing wrong. We just need to accept them and learn different cultures.
A queer case indeed!

Yeah, Robin was introduced less than a year in to make him a lighter more small-child-friendly character.
