The plot thickens! I think it's obvious that there's more to what happened after Mae started the fire. The fact that we focus on Osha immediately after the fire starts and we don't see what's happening in the upper area feels very deliberate. Best guess is that some kind of battle erupted between the Jedi and the witches.
Torbin's scar seems to be proof of this. We see at the end very briefly that this is indeed where he gets the scar. And that is definitely not a burn. It seems very likely he got that from an enemy combatant.
Aside from that stuff though I thought the rest of the episode was intriguing. It's cool to see a coven of witches that are very different from the Nightsisters. Hopefully we get the answer as to how Mother Iniseya and the other witch lady created the twins. It seems that this was an intentional act and not an Anakin situation where he was spawned by the Force itself.
Overall great episode. At this point I am officially hooked into the show!
Why was this episode hyped up as destroying Star Wars again?
The episode was ok. Some good backstory atleast but not terribly exciting.
Something that stands out with this show is some line delivery just doesn't feel convincing. It feels like theyre acting from a script rather than natural dialog sometimes. Over acting maybe? I'm not sure, there's just a few moments that feel off.
So yeah, it was decent but the show really needs to elevate in the next episode or its gonna become a bit plodding.

Overall pretty good flashback episode. I need more Sith in my Sith show though.
Honestly don’t really get the problem.
It’s not very good but it also doesn’t destroy Star Wars
>lesbian witches
It never says they are lesbians and force witches have been a thing in Star Wars for years
It’s an easy path to the dark side it makes sense that the Jedi would want to stop heretic or force users before they spiral off into Sith territory.
All the “oh my god they are dike witches that ruin Star Wars” way overblown
But it is, objectively, the worst star wars show/movie ever made, like, beyond even starting to consider any political message, the artistic quality just sucks, the writing, the direction, it's just amateurish shit

Turns out the force was created by a magical negress lesbian who makes other magical negress lesbians pregnant with magical negress babies
The pregnant one was not black, she was a white Darth Maul lady. They made a point of pointing out that there have never been kids in this coven before, so the main black chick has only knocked someone up with midichlorians once. This is the same power of Darth Plagueis and people are acting like this isn't a direct tie to the prequel trilogy. I'm guessing she also could stop the ones she loved from dying (Mae, since she falls in a chasm and survives) but not herself.
I saw the interview where she said that, and unless you have severe autism, it was pretty clear she was playing along with the nutty dude interviewing her.
Well, Plagueis learned the power from someone else, yes? Mother Aniseya passed her powers into Mae when that forehead marking appeared. According to one interview, Lucas says that Sheev made up the Plagueis story. The novel isn't necessarily canon for Disney, but depending on if Hedland read and liked it, she may be sticking to it, if not the exact timeframe.

I'm not watching, but it's so gay that the writers didn't just have the Jedi exterminate the witches. It feels like that was the plan at some point, but they pussied out because that might entail an actually interesting moral question.
I think it will be shown in another flashback episode that they did that. There is more Indara and young Torbin stufff in the trailers that were not in this ep.
Darth Incelius is their leader, his new apprentice Darth Misoginis slayed our poor witch queens. Jedi Master Pridium will lead Yoda and Sol to defeating them.
>sith aren't evil >they're oppressed by the patriarchy
why must everything be relative
why must certain kinds of writers use shared media to work out their psychological issues?
that's what the writer's strikes should've been about - mandatory therapy sessions for every writer, to try to deal with their personality defects, so it's not spilled out onto scripts
they already all have therapy sessions, most of their scripts borrow from the results of those therapy sessions. Half of Shehulk was the lead literally sat in a group therapy session. The chanting and witchcraft in this is probably some therapy retreat Leslye spent $2k to attend
>we have to talk about racism based on skin color in star wars
THEY'RE ALL FRICKING HUMAN
THERE ARE LITERAL ALIENS THAT ARE ACTUALLY SUPERIOR/INFERIOR TO HUMANS
THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE WOULD BE FRICKING RACIST ABOUT
At this point I imagine a planet of entirely white people. They don't wage war, nor they have any kind of ambition. Their society isn't a cult, they know about the others they just think the universe is made by a bunch of Black person homosexuals and keep themselves away from it.
Wasn't there a entire coven of force witches. Making this entire thing even more preachy. The fact that it already existed, undermines the core point that they are trying to make.
Lol, must be a ham fisted allegory because last I checked no one gave a shit about gays in-universe. The Empire had a lesbian governor who literally had Twilik sex slaves.
To think in a galaxy where all types of wild ass aliens are a part of everything, for some reason trillions just randomly hate black women. Holy frick.

>>The child actor who played Mae/Osha was a little flat at times, but overall pretty good.
its clearly 2 different girls. one is much uglier than the other.
It bugged me the whole episode. like how can they be identical twins when theyre older but not when theyre kids.
>black people in starwars
impulsive, criminals, overall bad people in general >white people in starwars
smart, calm and collected, keeps the peace >asian people in starwars
weak, pussified people
man, star wars really is just our reality but in star wars
Pic related is the one Mae is taking orders from. Mother was going to allow Osha to leave and she was against it, killing everyone, using Torbin as a puppet. Mae believes Jedi killed all the other witches
Search you feelings, you know it to be true
Why the frick are the Jedi even on this random planet soliciting children from a cult? And why would mrs head black let the Jedi take her if she can just refuse?
Something the Midichlorians thing fricked up is that it's now harder to justify the Jedi just operating on "vibes". Still, in this case I think the idea is probably that t he Jedi felt some heavy force business going on on that planet, so they went to investigate. After all, there's a coven of Force Witches doing magic there, as well as magic twins they made.
Head Black Witch Lady is being portrayed as Good, so she would acquiesce to her daughter's desires once they're clearly expressed. The Jedi technically would agree if she just said "no, frick off", but the way the story is set up, for her to retain the moral high ground it has to be her kid's decision, and this episode *heavily* emphasizes the idea that the witches are probably okay people.
Is it really reasonable to cater to the whims of a clearly immature 8 year old child who says she wants to leave her mother forever and never see her again? Struck me as a bit odd.
Why acolyte ep 3 is good:
The jedi were always pricks kinda the whole point. They been kidnapping kids for hundreds of years.
Force birth without a father has been seen in star wars before
Force witches been around aka night sisters
It's a mystery so yes questions aren't answer
>YOU CANNOT DENY THE JEDI CAN TEST WHOMEVER THE FRICK WE WANT >...with your permission
The first couple episodes were okay; at least better than my low expectations. This one though, holy fricking hell it hurt to watch. How did this piece of shit cost more than Dune 2? Was this scripted during the writers' strike?
The lesbian romance that we saw was more awkward and clunky than some of the stuff I've seen on PornHub. I don't want Disney to ruin lesbian porn for me as well after they garrote Star Wars.
After Amandla was soft-blacklisted because of her initial string of bleachkino - primarily Where Hands Touch - I can't help but feel like this is an artificial course-correction for her AAA career among the audiences who called her Hollywood's bedwench, essentially going >Look!!!! Amandla has braids and is taking queer-coded roles now, while being completely stripped of sexuality!!! She's OURS now cis ytbois
She had to go enby just to get people to care about her as it is before this
Basically nothing that indicates she likes dudes, hence making her big re-debut a series where
EVIL PATRIARCHY PERSECUTED POOR LESBIANS OF COLOR BECAUSE THEY WERE UNNATURAL, BUT THEY HAD LEARNED HOW TO PROCREATE WITHOUT MEN!
Written by: Leslye Headland
This is literally dyke wish-fulfillment fanfiction, kek.
is the main plot point. She was supposed to be the mixed It girl post-Hunger Games, but everyone (black audiences) who saw HG for her alone were mysteriously not okay with Everything, Everything, Hate U Give was a course correction to make it look like she was a radical, but again, her getting with a white guy in that pissed the same audiences off again, ESPECIALLY since her black boyfriend is dead in it. But after WHT, that was the last straw in current year-land, she basically alienated everyone EXCEPT white audiences
Basically, her failing to launch with the required audiences is why Hollywood switched to Zendaya and ensured she's loud about social issues right off the bat, which along with her complete lack of breasts (a white preference somehow), softened the fact that she too likes white guys and just happens to be in movies where she's their love interest
If you've ever been in a convo to the tune of >oh so you think black girls are hot???? fine name one butthole
with your not-black gf or someone calling you out for some reason, and you show them Tyra, Rihanna, Maserati, or someone in their ballpark, you've more than likely got the "white features" meltdown
>expect a deep dive into the esoteric lore behind a coven of night sisters >get Lesley's incestuous slashfic >episode would've been better if we got to see it from the Jedi's perspective
This shit wasn't worth the 1.39GB and the 5 minutes it took to download.
How would that happen in late republic jedi order. They're as sterile as it gets for jedi. Unless your species is going extinct no hanky panky for you.
I thought it was pretty good. I would honestly give it an eight but there’s so many haters that I have to do at 10. The dialogue and acting was very, very Star Wars.
So far the show has been amazing with great characters. This feels like the most star wars piece by LucasFilm since Ahsoka and the Clone Wars era. I love the history of the jedi and the plot so far. Love all the performances as well.
I’m gonna give it a 10 because as of the first two episodes it’s done everything it needs to- great worldbuilding, great setup, great characters. People gotta give it a chance!
I am gonna disagree. First three episodes are a good jump into the High Republic era. Great costume design, excellent action scenes, and an interesting story so far. Master Sol is definitely my favorite, but most of the other main characters are pretty interesting too. Looking forward to the rest of teh season
I predict this Sheev will stole the magic of the Lesbian Witches to create Anakin since Darth Plagueis was Mae or Osha there is a Disney Comic of Palpatine doing magic to Ani mom
The first three episodes are giving me exactly what I want from Star Wars. The entire vibe is very authentically Star Wars, the acting is good and is very in line with the serials that the series was always based off of, and there are tons of great details and easter eggs all around for serious fans. The lead star is also excellent, and is doing a great job! I like where they seem to be going with the story! I hope they keep it up through the rest of the season!
Just finished watching Star Wars: Acolyte, and I've got to say, it exceeded my expectations in more ways than one. This show dives deep into the darker side of the Force, exploring the Sith like never before.
First off, the cinematography is top-notch. The visuals are stunning, with beautifully crafted set pieces and seamless CGI. The atmosphere is dark and gripping, fitting the tone of the story perfectly.
The storyline is compelling, focusing on the rise of a Sith apprentice during the High Republic era. It's refreshing to see a new angle in the Star Wars universe, and the plot twists keep you on the edge of your seat. The character development is strong, particularly for the protagonist, whose journey from light to dark is both tragic and fascinating.
The acting is solid across the board. The lead delivers a powerful performance, bringing depth and complexity to their role. Supporting characters also shine, each adding unique elements to the story.
However, the pacing could be better. Some episodes drag a bit with too much exposition, but the action sequences make up for it. The lightsaber duels are choreographed brilliantly, offering some of the best fights in the Star Wars franchise.
In terms of fan service, there are plenty of Easter eggs and nods to the extended lore, which longtime fans will appreciate. It's clear that the creators have a deep respect for the source material.
Overall, Star Wars: Acolyte is a welcome addition to the Star Wars saga. It brings something new to the table while respecting the rich history of the franchise. Definitely worth a watch for any Star Wars fan, especially those who enjoy the darker, more complex stories within this universe.
Thank god this galaxy is far far away. At this point it seems Disney is doing everything in their power to destroy Star Wars. It's actually impressive.
Visually, the series is stunning. The set designs, special effects, and cinematography are top-notch, bringing the vibrant world of the High Republic to life with breathtaking detail. The action sequences are impeccably choreographed, blending classic Star Wars combat with innovative new elements that keep the action fresh and exciting.
The performances are outstanding across the board. The cast brings depth and nuance to their roles, making you genuinely care about their fates. The lead actor's portrayal of the acolyte is particularly noteworthy, capturing the character's internal struggle and growth with remarkable skill.
One of the standout aspects of The Acolyte is its ability to expand the Star Wars universe while staying true to its core essence. It delves into the moral complexities of the Force, exploring the gray areas between light and dark, and adds layers of depth to the overarching mythology. Fans will appreciate the subtle nods to familiar elements of the franchise, while newcomers will find it an accessible and enthralling entry point.
First off no one hates Star Wars more than a Star Wars fan. The hatred for this show is absolutely ridiculous. It's a universe of storytelling, this one just isn't for you. F off, watch something else. But a "new low" and "off course" as so many other reviews have called it? Some even saying it was a AI generated script. Come on, name one franchise that is 100% loved. You can't. Marvel, Star Trek, Harry Potter, DC. Somewhere in there something is going to suck sooner or later. If you have a better idea come out here to Los Angeles and let's see what you got... that's what I thought, you don't have anything. Nothing. So find a different show, read a book, make a stupid Tik Tok video. A lot of people worked hard on this. It's not my favorite, but I consider myself a hardcore Star Wars fan, and they're allowed to make something that isn't for me. But seriously, grow up if all you have to write is nonsensical hateful remarks. You'll find something you like eventually. This is a magical time for streaming content, go fish.
The acolyte show so far is fine. Not so good but not so bad. The story still hides about the mystery and gives some chill to the audience who loves mysteries. I heard that it has 'a lot' of PC stuff. However, according to what i saw, there is no significant political messege in the show. The action scenes are better organized than other shows that disney made. It would be obviously a lie to say this show is very good or very bad, but i think it is worth watching.
There was a large amount of reviewers who bombed this show without even seeing it because it doesn;t contain original characters and traditions. But overall it looks fine and we should see how this ends.
>pick twins child actors who don't look 100% alike >let's cast ONE adult actress to play both!
People behind these shows are completely moronic, it's fricking impressive to be honest.
This show is AWESOME! I have been a fan of Sith lore and philosophy since KOTOR 1 & 2, and that is the whole premise of the show. Great acting, great fight choreography, and a great plot, solid 10/10 from me.
Went into it with low expectations but enjoying it so far. The characters are ok not attached to the characters yet but I am only 2 episode's in. Disappointed with the early deaths of some Jedi's, Hoping for more Wookiee and maybe some Ewok Jedi's.
I think the show has potential and could build an interesting new Star Wara world and expand on the rich history of done right. Also excited for anything Sith related in the upcoming episodes.
Give it a shot just don't expect to be blown away it has potential but I feel like it is a slow burn with hopefully a big payoff. Just don't compare it to the shows before or you will be disappointed.
It's literally probably the best Star Wars show to date, besides possibly Mandalorian season 1. But it's close.
If you don't like it... sorry, but it gives off chud vibes.

ironic shilling is still shilling you ugly mouseBlack person
The haters who doubted the series' ability to deliver on the Star Wars legacy will find their arguments quickly dismantled. The world-building in this episode is nothing short of phenomenal. The meticulous attention to detail in the set designs and special effects transports viewers to an era of the Star Wars universe that feels both familiar and refreshingly new. The lush visuals, combined with a hauntingly beautiful score, create an immersive experience that is truly cinematic.
Performance-wise, Episode 3 is a standout. The cast continues to deliver stellar performances, with the lead actor shining particularly bright. Their portrayal of the acolyte’s internal struggle is both intense and nuanced, drawing viewers into their complex journey. The supporting cast also brings depth and authenticity to their roles, enriching the story with compelling interactions and dynamics.
It's about all we can do these days. Nice to know that the only way certain 'people' can feel better about themselves is by making others miserable. Truly embracing the dark side.
I normally hate youtube gays but I actually felt bad for him watching this because he's not overreacting or exaggerating for effect he just looks quietly crushed and dejected
It's a good thing.
Just one person convinced to watch ep 3 will do irreperable damage to not just star wars but all or DEI.
In fact I'm gonna make a few shill posts myself now.
Come on bros, they're weak, they're wounded, there's blood in the water, let's finish them up for good.
After three episodes, I'm confident that I will finish this season. New take on Star Wars, different era, different characters, different takes. Makes Star Wars fresh again.
Storywise, I didn't mind it. But it made me cringe a lot. I also wondered why they picked fraternal twin actresses who don't look alike, when adult Mae and Osha are identical twins.
That's what I'm judging it on. If it's only as gay as Scootaloo's aunts in one episode and then forgotten about, it's a scam. I came for Jedi/Sith girl forbidden romance yuri and nothing else.
>white darth maul lady >black lady put babies in her with the force >childs are lightskin homies with no darth maul features
Seriously, can someone explain how this shit work?
If they were smart, they'd get the yuri audience but it doesn't look like that's what it'll be. When it was announced, I thought it'd be a life action yuri anime about a qt sith girl and her forbidden romance with a qt jedi chick. It could still be that, but it looks like they're wasting time on shit no one cares about. The israelitey drip feed model also isn't good for getting immediate attention versus a binge model.
If they weren't israelites, they'd just do different shows for different demos (sw should, Shonen, ect) but they seemingly are pandering towards journalists and academics and not an actual audience demographic.
I mean sure, the was perfect, but did you guys see the set design? And the costumes were on point! I can’t believe Lucasfilm did it again. The acting was top notch and I can’t wait to watch another episode. I’ll have my popcorn ready!
Just remember, this franchise started out as Lucas doing the hero’s journey monomyth stuff but with space magic
What even is the identity of this franchise anymore
Is it literally just “has a lightsaber in it somewhere”?
The problem with it as a setting is that everything hinges around the events of the movies
A good setting gives you versatility in storytelling, but in Star Wars everything revolves around “setting up the fall of the Jedi” or “setting up the fall of the empire”
Like andor was good but it’s ultimately just the backstory of a dude who paved the way for Luke to blow up the Death Star
Clone wars, good and bad, was all foreshadowing about episode III
Good lord, Kogonada cooked with that one. My heart was racing the entire time. Beautiful storytelling that doesn’t really let *anyone* off the hook. I constantly felt this strong push & pull between sisters, between groups, between expectations and hopes. Powerful.
This show stands out as a luminous gem in modern cinema, dazzling with its masterful storytelling and breathtaking visuals. Directed with precision, this show immerses viewers in a world of vivid landscapes and intricate details, each frame a testament to exceptional cinematography. The ensemble cast delivers performances of extraordinary depth, led by a protagonist whose transformative journey is portrayed with grace and authenticity. The script balances joy and sorrow, punctuated by an evocative musical score that elevates the narrative to an ethereal plane. "The Acolyte” is a cinematic triumph, a poignant and enlightening experience that leaves an indelible mark on both heart and mind. Bravo!
>We'll never get a story focusing on the Jedi actively hunting down and persecuting all other orders of force users that might threaten their monopoly on using the force with the Republic
Sheev is the unsung hero of the franchise, the Jedi have bullied all who don't convert to their ways for centuries.
Star wars is boring. I don't really understand what do you expect. Even the original trilogy was just a space fairy tale. It only hit because space was a new thing in the 70s. Star wars is simply dead as a franchise, because every star wars story boils down to two plots: 1. Good defeats the bad. 2. Good guys are not the saints you believed them to be.
As for the Acoylate the whole premise is just boring. It feels like a shitty Agatha Christie rip off. This show is literally And Then There Were None with light sabers. Yeah we understand the Jedi killed the witches and Mae is taking revenge on them. The episode was just simply boring. Why does this had to be the third episode? We already knew about the fire and the Jedi taking them and the Jedi doing something bad.
It seems that this was an intentional act and not an Anakin situation where he was spawned by the Force itself.

how bad are we talking here?
we may in fact, be looking at the first Star Wars property that will be canceled.
The actually PULLED their Willow series from D+ and the only way to see it now is to find a torrent.

Turns out the force was created by a magical negress lesbian who makes other magical negress lesbians pregnant with magical negress babies
The force sounds mildly masculine here bros.
>They made it so in Star Wars the Black folk cannonically dont have fathers
Ahahahahahhahaha
Where are you Black folk getting this from?! I skipped through the boring parts of the episode.
The twins are like Anakin.
Anakin was a section 8 Black person?
he was a slave on Tatooine
He's still a privileged straight white male.
The pregnant one was not black, she was a white Darth Maul lady. They made a point of pointing out that there have never been kids in this coven before, so the main black chick has only knocked someone up with midichlorians once. I'm guessing she also could stop the ones she loved from dying (Mae, since she falls in a chasm and survives) but not herself.
Problem is that Plagueis is a male since Palpatine says that he kills him in his sleep not in her sleep
Anon, they made R2-D2 a lesbian. They will absolutely retcon Plagueis and paint Palpatine as a transphobe bigot for misgendering him.
I saw the interview where she said that, and unless you have severe autism, it was pretty clear she was playing along with the nutty dude interviewing her.

Take the worst performance art interpretative dance you’ve ever seen and add some man hating lesbians and squid game guy
The only way this could’ve been half decent is if they change the title of the episode to like I just said black magic.
I'm not sure, there's just a few moments that feel off.

psyops or do their executives think it is a good idea to target a minority audience
Are they the bad guys or the good guys?
What did poor Dafne get into, did they strongarm her into this for the X-23 cameo?
>We aren't villains
>[laughs manically]
Kek
you need to see this with the sound, it's unreal
This needs a constant blinking "This is what woketards ACTUALLY believe" tag.
I know Star Wars is not highly respected but this is just an extremely obvious use of the brand name to further your own politics.
Not even the most cynical parody would make this shit up
yaaassssssss based BLACK witches :atypical yet silent fingersnapping: so empowering!!! :waves wakanda flag: #KillAllMaleJedis
So they basically just copied the Dathomir Nightsisters but with a much worse aesthetic
>sith aren't evil
>they're oppressed by the patriarchy
why must everything be relative
why must certain kinds of writers use shared media to work out their psychological issues?
that's what the writer's strikes should've been about - mandatory therapy sessions for every writer, to try to deal with their personality defects, so it's not spilled out onto scripts
they already all have therapy sessions, most of their scripts borrow from the results of those therapy sessions. Half of Shehulk was the lead literally sat in a group therapy session. The chanting and witchcraft in this is probably some therapy retreat Leslye spent $2k to attend
lmfao what moronic cuck watches this shit even ironically?
laughing my white ass off
>we hate women of color - Star Wars fans
God I would just hate it if they kissed each other in a loving embrace. it would just trigger me so
There must be thousands of worlds of fatass freak male aliens who would disagree about this female humanoid only coven
> everyone else in the galaxy is the problem
And yet homosexuals on here will still watch it
Leftists are extremely mentally ill.
>we have to talk about racism based on skin color in star wars
THEY'RE ALL FRICKING HUMAN
THERE ARE LITERAL ALIENS THAT ARE ACTUALLY SUPERIOR/INFERIOR TO HUMANS
THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE WOULD BE FRICKING RACIST ABOUT
By "women like us" she means witches using the force. Her comment doesn't have anything to do with race.
At this point I imagine a planet of entirely white people. They don't wage war, nor they have any kind of ambition. Their society isn't a cult, they know about the others they just think the universe is made by a bunch of Black person homosexuals and keep themselves away from it.
Guys i think i understand Amish.
>the ENTIRE GALAXY is against us because... le gender
im tired bros...
>nightsister lore exists
There's a reason for that.
>An ENTIRE FRICKING GALAXY
Truly astonishingly shit grasp of scale.
Wasn't there a entire coven of force witches. Making this entire thing even more preachy. The fact that it already existed, undermines the core point that they are trying to make.
sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit
Lol, must be a ham fisted allegory because last I checked no one gave a shit about gays in-universe. The Empire had a lesbian governor who literally had Twilik sex slaves.
YASSSS!!!
>even in a galaxy far far away black people are slaved
black bros...
By this point if even in another galaxy black people are slave of aliens, we should consider the hypothesis that the problem is with black people.
>lime juice
dis homie literally zesty as frick
If it's good enough to wash chicken with it's good for hair
>wypeepo dont season dey hair!
This shit is some next level psyops.
To think in a galaxy where all types of wild ass aliens are a part of everything, for some reason trillions just randomly hate black women. Holy frick.
OH LAWD DAT FOWCE
I liked it
It's just so unimaginative.
>you will enjoy le black futurism
>you will have no choice whitey
My choice is to just not watch this garbage or purchase Disney products and watch Disney stock price slide down the shitter of history.
Mouse shill
Disney Star Wars is for homosexuals
Yes, we know but some of the crumbs are okay
double the budget of the kenobi show
No big actors. Hack writer and director. Looking like cheap star trek. What type of money laundering scam is this?
i actually started laughing when they found out that the black woman was part of some evil clan. It made me actually wheeze.
They weren't really portrayed as evil though.
Random thoughts:
>Force witch coven, I dig it. Like how they call the Force, the Thread.
>Are these like proto versions of that force witch from Ahsoka I wonder.
>Cool to see another Zabrak outside of Darth Maul.
>Not sure how I feel about trying to reclaim/revisit the idea of immaculate inception through the Force. Anakin being Force Jesus was one of the parts of the prequels that worked the least.
>And if that main witch mother incepted the twins in the womb of the Zabrak force mother, does that mean some random Jedi did that to Smee?
>The choreography and singing during the ascension ritual was a little cringe inducing.
>The child actor who played Mae/Osha was a little flat at times, but overall pretty good.
>The CGI on that one Maz Kanata looking witch was pretty rough.
>The Jedi: "We don't take children". *Immediately tries to recruit the children*
>How does a fire spread that fast in a stone room?
>Odd that the explosion killed all the witches while leaving no visible damage. Initial reaction was that the violence felt sanitized. After a moment of consideration, that's probably a plot thread with the Jedi being behind their deaths.
Overall pretty good flashback episode. I need more Sith in my Sith show though.
This homie just copy pasted from his shill talking point script
>>The child actor who played Mae/Osha was a little flat at times, but overall pretty good.
its clearly 2 different girls. one is much uglier than the other.
It bugged me the whole episode. like how can they be identical twins when theyre older but not when theyre kids.
>>The CGI on that one Maz Kanata looking witch was pretty rough.
Looked like an animatronic mask to me. Thought i spotted eyeholes in vertical wrinkles. (Maz is 100% puppet in TRoS, but 100% cgi in TFA, btw).
Did it make you cry?
Another AI or shill post.
The force is lesbian
I so cherish this man
I'm a britbong. When I was a kid I went to a mall twice. The Chinese food there was fricking amazing. Is this the case all the time?
South Park hit the nail on the head
I hope non of you anons are damaging your mental health by watching this trash
I don't watch films or tv, anon. I'm just here to shitpost.
I don't have any mental health left to damage, anon.
Why do they give blacks in all these shows British accents instead of bold and beautiful hoodrat accents?
That's a good question!
You do realise there’s black people in Britain right?
>You do realise there’s black people in Britain right?
Unfortunately yes...
No. WRONG! Brits just don’t know about soap and water
You're just mad because the main character is a gay female. if he was a white straight male you would be spamming KINO!!!
Han Solo had a white straight male as their MC, and I thought that shit was boring too! Star Wars as a franchise died after EP7 was released.
>Han Solo had a white straight male as their MC
>Han Solo
>white
lol.
Who wants to see demonic unnatural filth on their screen?
This slop will bomb and when Disney dies, we will laugh and laugh at their derision!
Where is Amanda's character gay?
And look at yer nose bruh
Who are these morons even talking to
>black people in starwars
impulsive, criminals, overall bad people in general
>white people in starwars
smart, calm and collected, keeps the peace
>asian people in starwars
weak, pussified people
man, star wars really is just our reality but in star wars
people in starwars
>impulsive, criminals, overall bad people in general
What about Bail Organa?
He’s out on Bail

He's 'spanic, holmes.
BLACK

MAGIC
So this entire show is a feminist lesbian's sci-fi fantasy about Force IVF?
They're evil conceited devils!
The only way I would save this show is if they made Osha the villain by the end while Mae has a redemption arc and has to kill her sister.
Lol, I was thinking that this is EXACTLY what is going to happen. Remember Osha's tattoo? That was obviously set up for a switcheroo.
didne mae have the tattoo, not osha?
No.
are you sure? i swear mae has the tattoo in the first scene in the first episode
No latinos no watch is that simpel
Filipinos are half-latino, yeah? Mae's accomplice dude.
It was pretty damn good. OP has no taste.
So the leaks are true? Not even going to watch it. Totally dropped.
Disney gave out screener copies of the first 4. So any "leaks" you've read for the next one are true too (from a certain point of view)
Why acolyte ep 3 is good:
The jedi were always pricks kinda the whole point. They been kidnapping kids for hundreds of years.
Force birth without a father has been seen in star wars before
Force witches been around aka night sisters
It's a mystery so yes questions aren't answer
Star Wars sucks
imagine strangling the life out of it. I couldn't just shoot it. It would have to be personal. I hope it reads this
>the amount of seeds on pirate sites is the lowest for any star wars property
not even pirates want this shit
I have magical Black fatigue
Is the force powerlevel tied to the blackness of your skin?
bait and switch is such lazy writing
>YOU CANNOT DENY THE JEDI CAN TEST WHOMEVER THE FRICK WE WANT
>...with your permission
The first couple episodes were okay; at least better than my low expectations. This one though, holy fricking hell it hurt to watch. How did this piece of shit cost more than Dune 2? Was this scripted during the writers' strike?
Shame there is not Lesbian Sex scenes in this
The lesbian romance that we saw was more awkward and clunky than some of the stuff I've seen on PornHub. I don't want Disney to ruin lesbian porn for me as well after they garrote Star Wars.
What lesbian romance? I need for research purposes.
The only indication they were a couple was the black chick lovingly put her hand on white Zabrak chick's face while talking to her in private.
That's it? No hot make out like Aphra and Tolvan?
Need Amalda and Dafeen yuri ASAP.
Looks murky and tacky
After Amandla was soft-blacklisted because of her initial string of bleachkino - primarily Where Hands Touch - I can't help but feel like this is an artificial course-correction for her AAA career among the audiences who called her Hollywood's bedwench, essentially going
>Look!!!! Amandla has braids and is taking queer-coded roles now, while being completely stripped of sexuality!!! She's OURS now cis ytbois
She had to go enby just to get people to care about her as it is before this
>queer-coded roles
the frick does that mean?
Basically nothing that indicates she likes dudes, hence making her big re-debut a series where
is the main plot point.
Basically, her failing to launch with the required audiences is why Hollywood switched to Zendaya and ensured she's loud about social issues right off the bat, which along with her complete lack of breasts (a white preference somehow), softened the fact that she too likes white guys and just happens to be in movies where she's their love interest
>a white preference somehow
white women have a scorched earth mindset about black women
they can't even get a hint of appeal to white men
If you've ever been in a convo to the tune of
>oh so you think black girls are hot???? fine name one butthole
with your not-black gf or someone calling you out for some reason, and you show them Tyra, Rihanna, Maserati, or someone in their ballpark, you've more than likely got the "white features" meltdown
>bleachkino
We are so deep into idiocracy.
>Where Hands Touch
I forgot she was in /misc/s self-insert kino
Spice is a drug in the Star Wars universe. Why were the lesbian witches giving the kids spice cream?
>expect a deep dive into the esoteric lore behind a coven of night sisters
>get Lesley's incestuous slashfic
>episode would've been better if we got to see it from the Jedi's perspective
This shit wasn't worth the 1.39GB and the 5 minutes it took to download.
Can you explain why it's dreadful without being racist or sexist?
It paints the Jedi, who've spent 20,000 years studying the Force, into being wrong about how the Force works.
It's not right/wrong but a different perspective. You could use this same argument to say the Sith are bad lore.
You know it's pride month when homosexual threads like this start popping up
There's omegaverse for gays and then there's Star Wars for lesbians.
Where is the troony Jedi Romance Sex scene? the only way we can save Mouse Wars is if Star Wars go into full Game of Thrones mode
How would that happen in late republic jedi order. They're as sterile as it gets for jedi. Unless your species is going extinct no hanky panky for you.
The troony played a female witch, and didn't do or say much.
it was just boring
you wouldn't want a cozy mountain fortress?
Looks like a toilet. Nothing cozy about that lazy piece of shit design.
>Looks like a toilet. Nothing cozy about that lazy piece of shit design.
high up in the mountains

For being 3 episodes in, and I think all of the setup has been laid down, the second half could end up being awesome! Can’t wait.
Darth Plagueis will be one of the Black Girl Twins and the Sith is one of their Mothers or a Witch Lesbian
rebranding the force as the thread. Peak chefs kiss
These guys are so dumb they don't even know that concrete doesn't burn? How do you even mess that up?
wait you guys watch this show? I thought it was for gay Black person lesbians
8.5/10 - Would recommend.
Thank god this galaxy is far far away. At this point it seems Disney is doing everything in their power to destroy Star Wars. It's actually impressive.
Black Dyke Magic
But overall it looks fine and we should see how this ends.
>pick twins child actors who don't look 100% alike
>let's cast ONE adult actress to play both!
People behind these shows are completely moronic, it's fricking impressive to be honest.
noglet look all the same
This show is AWESOME! I have been a fan of Sith lore and philosophy since KOTOR 1 & 2, and that is the whole premise of the show. Great acting, great fight choreography, and a great plot, solid 10/10 from me.
Nice selfie
Went into it with low expectations but enjoying it so far. The characters are ok not attached to the characters yet but I am only 2 episode's in. Disappointed with the early deaths of some Jedi's, Hoping for more Wookiee and maybe some Ewok Jedi's.
I think the show has potential and could build an interesting new Star Wara world and expand on the rich history of done right. Also excited for anything Sith related in the upcoming episodes.
Give it a shot just don't expect to be blown away it has potential but I feel like it is a slow burn with hopefully a big payoff. Just don't compare it to the shows before or you will be disappointed.
ironic shilling is still shilling you ugly mouseBlack person
>somebody dared to like something what I hate blindly???? SHILL SHILL AAA SHILL I AM GONNA GO CRAZY AAA SHILLL
>like
that's way overblown for a show exclusively made for gays by gays

>"I'm gonna go watch Empire Strikes Back"
It's about all we can do these days. Nice to know that the only way certain 'people' can feel better about themselves is by making others miserable. Truly embracing the dark side.
I normally hate youtube gays but I actually felt bad for him watching this because he's not overreacting or exaggerating for effect he just looks quietly crushed and dejected
The rolling stone and nbc wrote articles about him, for some reason he's considered the chud face of the sw fandom.
they burned a mountain down in the episode?
He's a shill. He'll come around and say the show wasn't that bad after it's over.
He is a PT/Filoni/Lucas shill, not a Disney one.
The power of one scene is the most unintentionally hilarious cringe of all time.
Like men, the Jedi were evil all along
>star wars theory aka the primo goyslop enjoyer and apologist for this shit turned his nose up at this episode
>all the positive posts are really fricking bots or paid for
It's a good thing.
Just one person convinced to watch ep 3 will do irreperable damage to not just star wars but all or DEI.
In fact I'm gonna make a few shill posts myself now.
Come on bros, they're weak, they're wounded, there's blood in the water, let's finish them up for good.
Even IGN shills gave it a 6, aka the most polite score of calling someone shit.
After three episodes, I'm confident that I will finish this season. New take on Star Wars, different era, different characters, different takes. Makes Star Wars fresh again.
If this was Trash imagine when Disney touch the Old Republic era
There are many people ITT who loved it. Why is the fandom so divided?
Nazis.
Everybody else in the whole world loved it.
Convince yourself and watch ep3.
Spamming a bunch of obviously copy/pasted Reddit comments doesn't mean jack shit, anon

It's entirely self-evident. Frick off.
Garbage. It’s awesome
Also Korean Jedi is not a pedo
Who knew Black person lesbians were so vulnerable to fire???
STARWARS MEETS Black person CHARMED
It's literally probably the best Star Wars show to date, besides possibly Mandalorian season 1. But it's close.
If you don't like it... sorry, but it gives off chud vibes.
Storywise, I didn't mind it. But it made me cringe a lot. I also wondered why they picked fraternal twin actresses who don't look alike, when adult Mae and Osha are identical twins.
>cost $200,000,000 just to produce 8 episodes
>less views than ahsoka
lmao the absolute state of mouseBlack folk
Has Amalda shown booba?
Has Dafeen shown booba?
Have Amalda and Dafeen kissed and fondled yet?
That's what I'm judging it on. If it's only as gay as Scootaloo's aunts in one episode and then forgotten about, it's a scam. I came for Jedi/Sith girl forbidden romance yuri and nothing else.
the power of one
the power of two
the power of manyyyyyyy
this shit's going to be stuck in my head all day
>white darth maul lady
>black lady put babies in her with the force
>childs are lightskin homies with no darth maul features
Seriously, can someone explain how this shit work?
And why were they wondering why they were dying out when they were all women if they didn't do this on regular basis?
I don't think they were wondering.
Magic.
One of the female witches is that troony youtuber. He even had dialogue. He's in the pic you posted.
I'm guessing the troony is the one that looks like a dude?
Correct.
I was wondering why they were so fricking tall compared to the other women
>they
There was only one troony.
happy for abigail aka philosophytube that they gave her some lines
Didn't xhe rape contrapoints though?
they came out her ass
The first two were passable but this one wasn't very good imo tbh
This. Theep didn't add anything to what was already known. And the new force witches stuff was rather cringy tee-bee-age
Lol
This picture is more Sapphic than anything I've seen actually from this shit. Why THE FRICK no Amanda and Dafeen in that pose yet? And showing legga.
Back when the worst thing in Star Wars was Starkiller Luuke and Palpatine return i miss that
Don’t forget Luuuke
Callista is worse than those
They keep building these stupid ass sets
Are there really that many young boys who want to watch this and buy action figures of the characters? My sons couldn’t get into this show at all.
The hasbro toys are 100% going to rot on shelves.
Kids won't care about them and most of the neckbeards won't either.
I mean sure, the was perfect, but did you guys see the set design? And the costumes were on point! I can’t believe Lucasfilm did it again. The acting was top notch and I can’t wait to watch another episode. I’ll have my popcorn ready!
Did you ever hear the tale of the dark lesbian witches?
I watched the third episode felt like my childhood was Raped
Holy fricking shit
Thread?
How appropriate this GET happened the day before this episode
OCTUPLETS OF TRUTH

Star Wars is better than ever. This is the best show yet
LoL you people acting like this is some how the worst star wars tv show. its like you all forgot how dumb the kenobi show was
so Star Wars is just dumb now
Because Kenobi was dumb, Acolyte is terrible
No need to make it a competition. They're both allowed to be incredibly shitty shows.
It seems like it's just one autist who thinks copy/pasting a bunch of reddit comments and twitter posts is the funniest thing in the whole wide world.
Just remember, this franchise started out as Lucas doing the hero’s journey monomyth stuff but with space magic
What even is the identity of this franchise anymore
Is it literally just “has a lightsaber in it somewhere”?
Star Wars is just a setting, a sandbox for storytelling
The problem with it as a setting is that everything hinges around the events of the movies
A good setting gives you versatility in storytelling, but in Star Wars everything revolves around “setting up the fall of the Jedi” or “setting up the fall of the empire”
Like andor was good but it’s ultimately just the backstory of a dude who paved the way for Luke to blow up the Death Star
Clone wars, good and bad, was all foreshadowing about episode III
Absolutely stunning performance by Jodie Turner-Smith in this episode. I was floored. Her last dialogue scene was *riveting.* Broke my heart.
ACTORS. I LOVE ACTORS. #TheAcolyte
Bravo!
the west has fallen
>We'll never get a story focusing on the Jedi actively hunting down and persecuting all other orders of force users that might threaten their monopoly on using the force with the Republic
Sheev is the unsung hero of the franchise, the Jedi have bullied all who don't convert to their ways for centuries.
The ironic shilling in here isn't even funny. Are people that desperate for (you)'s?
PUT A CHICK IN IT AND MAKE IT LAME AND GAY
This is the gayest episode to date. Also the chickest and the lamest. Peak KK.
Finally a Star Wars that looks like me.....
Thank you Dissney
I can't wait for the last episode when they reveal Mae is Darth Plagueis
Didn't Sheev refer to him with masculine pronouns?
So? Retcon him to be a black woman
I'm glad they made Plagueis a POC instead of an alien. Makes him more relatable
Is there a single white male in this show? You know? Their demographic
Seeing how zoomer lesbian Star Wars is turning out makes me think honestly zoomer lesbian Gundam was not so bad
They warned us.
In hindsight the droid jail-break in solo feels like a master class of nuanced social commentary
