I want to be excited but I don't know how much more I can stop stomach of this b***h. It was decent until the finale where for some reason the head chef had to apologize to the girl who fricked up the ticket system, stabbed the cousin, and walked out after creating the chaos and to the donut guy who was neglecting to do his actual job and walked out when he got yelled at for it. Head chef was completely in the right and they were completely in the wrong.

she never wears a hat in the kitchen. since she wears hair extensions, she can't wash her hair often. contemplate the odor of her hair after just one week working in the kitchen.

I agree %100, especially the donut guy frick him, fricking manchild. Ave to think in season 2, they send him to Europe to get trained by a top chef? Wtf?

      >fricked up the ticket system

Carm had her do it as with a million other things.

      > stabbed the cousin

Which was clearly an accident, unless you literally didn't watch the episode

and walked out after creating the chaos

Cousin was consistently being a piece of shit to you (which you left out, perhaps intentionally) and Carm did nothing to stop him, gets blamed for shit that wasn't your fault and your boss blows up on you for shit that was HIS fault. I'd quit, too.

I don't get this Syd hate, especially when her idea and ambitions elevated the restaurant and Carm says that he couldn't have made it as far without her.

Well obviously no white man could succeed without a black woman doing all the work secretly

Can we have one thread without a racist thinking Syd and Marcus were in the wrong? You don’t yell like that in a professional setting. It’s rude.

I don't need to be racist, even though I am, to know they were wrong. And the fact that the show tries to portray them as right despite Carmie going out of his way to help them is utterly moronic.

Also, I didn't like season 2. Way too campy with a Marvelesque quippy dialogue in every scene killing the tension.

I stopped after the Forks episode, which I consider the best episode for some reason. Does season 2 end on a cliffhanger?

Do people really act like the workers at the restaurant Richie visits?

Not really. The restaurant opens successfully and Carm's gf dumps him.

      >now that I’ve washed forks for half a week and listened to a Taylor Swift song, I’m a world class Maitre’d!
I know the season was everyone’s training montage, but that one was particularly ridiculous.

Will he add a deep fryer to the kitchen?

Maybe they'll branch out from sandwiches to burritos?

Omg this is nail-biting stuff! What if they run out of ketchup packets???

Love this show. Kitchenworker bros, the civilians out there just don't understand what we go through every day. We're a brotherhood of people that have been hardened and forged through a struggle that is beyond the comprehension of most. This show gets that, which is why I like it. You lay bricks in 100 degree heat? Heh, kid stuff. You move heavy shit around a warehouse? Ha, that's cute. But you don't know struggle. Try surviving in the trenches when it's $1 mimosa brunch special, then get back to me.
