nice, looks like you're right, it is available for streaming on paramount+ before it airs on showtime. i always had to wait until monday to watch it before
i would have preferred this show to be popular and succesful but ultimately that's not an indictment on the show. it may be a bit too highbrow to have mass appeal but i'm really enjoying it regardless and recommending it to my friends
only thing 'highbrow' about it is being shot on film and having safdies on board. theres no intellectualism or thoughtfulness to the show itself. just random hipster skits. its really dismal

Is it actually shot on film? I thought it might be since Safdie brothers are involved but couldn't see anything in the credits when I watched the last episode to make sure. This might be one of the last ever, if not THE last, TV shows shot on film following Succession.

Goodbye.
it's a dark comedy about two rich real estate millennials in the southwest that are buying up property and gentrifying a poor hispanic town while filming a show about it. The main characters try desperately to appear kind and supportive to the community they are buying up but it backfires in hilarious/sad ways. It has a lot of curb style shenanigans where nathan is overwhelmed by his cheapness and pettiness to do the right thing even when it's simple while emma's character is a typical dumb naive "I'm a good person" millennial rich instagram white woman. If you like nathan fielder shows you'll like it. it's pretty damn good.
I won’t watch the israelite movie.
>I'm saying the words and you're not doing it!
Why didn't she just validate his feelings?
He didn't validate her sweater photo
Man this shit really hit me and I think that says bad things about my relationship.
In ep 3 Whitney says "it's a mishegoss" when they are fixing up Abshir's home. Asher corrects her and says "it's a mitzvah."
Mishegoss = crazy or senseless behavior
Mitzvah = good deed or holy commandment
I thought this was funny, because Whitney was right even though she used the wrong word from what she intended
Who ASKED?
Frick me for talking about a TV show on the TV board
the wall is not being kind to emma
Bump
Now that you mention it is really unfortunate that I would just happen to bump into someone the one time I blew slightly over.
This is why chuds shouldn't drink

Cope
this
pathetic flop of a slow only carried by the copes of devotees. nathan is out of gas. and i loved good time
>pathetic flop of a slow
It's three episodes in anon
look at the first 3 eps of Lost or The Sopranos. they COOKED. this is flailing like a fish on the dock
>they COOKED
Opinion discarded
i said what i said cope about it
The Sopranos is the greatest show of all time, calling a show a "flop" because it doesn't match up to that is a moronic take
is Lost? my point is that good shows have good starts. this show having a shit start does not reflect well on its overall chances
>Lost
Never watched it

>Lost
Lost was a homosexual show.
Is it as mean spirited as the rehearsal? I kind of soured on Fielder after that.
the rehearsal wasn't mean spirited at all
you didn't get it
The two male leads are the most pathetic men ever put on television
Started hating Emma Stone.
Nice
>they COOKED
did they or did they not cook
I'm gonna order some domino's
>there are still morons itt that don't understand that he plays up his overt israeliness and over the top offense at antisemitism for comedy
Holy shit is that mark kermode in a cowboy hat?
it's james hetfield
