There is the potential for great kino here, but it won't happen. Amazon will make a balls of it and King will blame Zronald Zrumpf for the bad reviews.
They should make a movie about young Roland (book IV) and forget about the rest. The lore is too deep for a movie. The story about Roland and Susan is perfect, even if the Dark Tower is just a vision Roland has when he holds the crystal ball, it's in there, it can be named The Dark Tower.
