Why doesn’t no one else get this? People keep praising this show, saying it’s on the same level as The Wire and/or The Sopranos, when Mad Men is basically feminist bullshit written by a fat white guy who hates white people. Most of the shows writers were women/feminists too.
It does have some feminist messages (Peggy, Sally, but the one who get the most wanked is Joan).
But they also frick up a lot of the females (Sally ends up being a surrogate mom for his brothers as a teenanger, Betty gets JUSTed when she gets her shit together, Joan will be a lonely cougar the rest of her life) the only one who won everything was Peggy who got a pity Stan win in the end because the actor was a nice dude and convinced Wiener to do it.
Yup, and you bear absolutely no responsibility for having unprotected sex, you choosing to do that and getting pregnant as a result is purely society's fault, it's just an unfair hardship imposed on your poor helpless femininity that you have to be saved from.
