#1 - Andy Heyward is israeli. He will resort to anything to make a penny. He's even doing some Stan Lee grave digging.

#2 - His companies have always made low-end slop. There used to be a joke among DIC's crew that the company's name stood for "Do It Cheap." Kartoon Studios slop is even worse. Go look up his Shaq car cartoon.

    >AI is getting picked up over actual creators.
This is what happens when you make the same shit over and over.

this is what happens when there's no overhead for making things anymore. this is the shit that twitter artists were crying about, and it's not going to get better. there will be a period of time where almost everything new is AI slop, and then ten years later companies will start going back to traditional stuff, kind of like what happened with all the shitty flash cartoons in the 2000s leading to adventure time bringing things back to normal.

Things got worse since adventure time, though

There are so many creators devoid of quality or passion these days, what does it matter if an AI cartoon gets a contract over some money laundering scheme Adam Sandler has put together dosguised as a kids cartoon to hide Coke and Sony ads inside?

    >be me
    >never particularly interested in AI
    >has hated everything I saw about it since DALLE2
    >in large groups online that trash AI regularly, pointing out its flaws and the elephant in the room that it's illegal
    >hundreds of thousands of likes, several million views on a tweet even
    >hope to start an anti-AI union with these people
    >come to find out half of them regularly use AI "but hate how it's overused without compensation"
    >close friend and animation aficionado who would go hogwild against AI in any case turns out he has Stable Diffusion running and uses it extensively for drafting and was just being vocal because I was
    >yet another friend took down all his earlier AIslop images from DeviantArt and only exclusively commissions artists
    >turns out he's actually just waiting out the vitriol
    >vocal anti-AI slop animator also doesn't actually care, and was only doing it out of solidarity, might have some genuine feelings about it but he'll change his mind if the online tide turns at all or it gets segregated into its own market (*fingers crossed that happens*
    >China stopped regulating AIslop, now going blitzkrieg with it, they were my last hope to shut down the sloppers who fell back on "muh China" now muh China is on their side
    >bot crackdown on Twitter killed off 3/4 of the likes and views on that big post of mine, so even my own post was probably nothing but AI-generated engagement

It's over. I'm just gonna draw in the corner and not even bother, because at this point who gives a shit. The time to stop this stuff was a decade ago when they companies were getting AI to do those swirly dog faces. At this point, I just want AI content to be segregated into its own section of the internet so I don't have to look at it or engage with it. Let the sloppers have their fun in their muck there

It won't be long until AI content outnumberes the amount of human content. Also AI content is continued to get trained on AI content, so the quality will only get worse.

That's not the main point of contention.

Everyone in these threads acts like "warping anatomy, eldritchian hands, psychedelic grip on reality" is going to be what "AI content" will be forever
3 years ago, even DALLE Mini stuff would have looked better than what some of the then-high end image generators could do.
The damage isn't when AI overtakes human content. It's when you can't tell the difference. It's pretty much ONLY the anti-AIgays who think that'll never happen.
We're honestly lucky to be in this twilight stage where most of the internet is dead but you can clearly tell it's dead (you can clearly tell when articles are AI-written, when images are AI-generated, and so on). When most of the internet is dead but it looks like a thriving supercivilization, that's when it'll get spooky

We need a second internet. No, we need multiple internets, so all of this centralization can stop and we can get back to Web 1.0.
Centralization and monetization on the internet was a mistake.

            Don't use search engines anymore.
Just keep a list of the websites you want and trust and get names of websites you know and trust and keep them saved.

            The web is gone now.
You have to be lucky to find a good site or trustworth anything anyomre.

Holy fricking shit, this. It bothers me every time someone sees a halfway decent AI slop image where everything's in the right place, text isn't weird, and there's the right number of fingers, and says "Now make it consistent" like that's some big gotcha when a year ago, even the best AI slop wasn't even halfway decent and you flat out couldn't do animation that wasn't "endless falling" or extremely and I mean extremely basic 2-second clips (and on that note, it CAN do consistency now, a few glitches with reality is the new "9 fingers on one hand").
It's not about what it can do now but what it will be able to do in 5 years.

Why is everybody so confused on it? This AI is just photoshop, just make sites only for AI art and videos and ban it from youtube, deviantart, newgrounds, twitter and any other site not made for AI content otherwise it will just flood every site with content farm and fake news, plus make it impossible to copyright unless it's used to make specific things humans can't without AI.

Thats what they said about photoshop and digitally editing pictures, yet we're able to call out when someone tries to pass off a fraudulent picture unjustly.

this is the best they can do with AI? shit, bing's AI can create better accurate looking characters than whatever the frick they are using. unless they trying to get around that copyright shit. also the original works of pooh are now public domain, so if they base it off that they can use it freely with no copyright issues.

pic related, bing can do pooh as pooh takes a poo.

How does this earn them money, again? I get saving money in larger productions using AI at times, nobody will notice, but advertising your show as having a shoestring budget sounds like a weird as frick concept
