THE FLASH is becoming a Batman movie

Ben Affleck is going to shoot additional scenes for the upcoming THE FLASH movie and said movie is essentially being twisted into a Batman movie, the first of a trilogy. David Zaslav is worried about the public opinion regarding Ezra Miller and he sees this as a way of mitigating damage.

Originally Ben Affleck was in the movie only in the beginning and in post-credits tease. Now he's going to be the face of the movie alongside Michael Keaton. Spider-Man: No Way Home has been thrown a lot in regards of how to proceed with the project.

Just give me a Batman Beyond trilogy with Keaton as old man Bruce. I don’t care about anything else.

This. They should forget about the DCEU or any kind of shared universe and just start doing individual movies.

Is Ben Affleck's Batman THAT popular? They're basically using him as band-aid for all these upcoming DC movies they've no faith in.

What will they do with the Ezra Miller situation? He plays three fricking characters in the movie. You can't simple replace him.

      >You can't simple replace him.
Marvel's been using their de-aging tech for movies. Time for DC to get in the game by straight up deepfaking actors out of their movie by replacing Ezra's face with someone else, except one scene where he gives up the Flash role to his brother Larry.

No one has nostalgia for Keaton’s Batman like they did for Tobey. Him and Batfleck interacting is not going to be the crazy reunion fans go wild for that WB are expecting

Michael Keaton’s 1989 Batman made $950 million (in 2022 dollars). It was a huge movie in its day. But it is 33 years old now.

drop all the DCEU stuff, stop releasing capeshit cold turkey and release The Patman 2 4-5 years from now

Frick no. The Patman 1 didn't even make much money.

Made more money than Man of Steel, both suicide squad movies, Justice League, and Wonder Woman 2

Patman made more money than any Sneeder movie has in the past decade.

          No, it unironically hasn't.

Sneeder is relegated to releasing straight to VOD and streaming because he dropped his director of photography (the source of his "talent").

Yeah which is why I said release it 4-5 years after having a total drought of capeshit. Like releasing Unforgiven in the 90s after the western boom died down.

Lmfao. I feel bad for DC they seemed like they had finally turned things around but now this just looks like DC trying to play catch up to marcels multi universe shit, which is ironic because thats What DC had going for it. The normies were more familiarized with the idea of multiple batmans and shit.

Or Long Halloween. Cast every single villain all at once and see what people think. Then make origin movie for whatever villain worked.

Or Death in the Family. Or Killing Joke. Batman had so many ready-made great scripts, but instead they churn out their inferior shit.

The Killing Joke with Batfleck would be great. It'd serve to introduce the Bat-Family.

The smartest way for WB would be to make one of the Flash become another actor through deepfake, with additional scenes this actor would become the main Flash of DC, if you want to pay me David Zaslav I will send you my bank account
