He made Apocalypse Now, he can do whatever he wants as far as I'm concerned.

Especially since he made Apocalypse Now in equally chaotic conditions.

Others said he gave them a kiss on the cheek. Hollywood wants the movie to fail because its original and independent so they are trying to make a me too out of nothing. Frick em

They don’t give a frick. He spent like 200m on it. If it was ai generated and was made for 5m they’d be worried

      >When filming ‘MEGALOPOLIS’, Francis Ford Coppola allegedly pulled women to sit on his lap. During one scene, he came on to the set and tried to kiss some of the topless female extras.

      >He apparently claimed he was “trying to get them in the mood”.

      Oh this homie is cooked!

This is why we need intimacy coördinators. On every set. All of them.

Crazy that all this comes out right as the movie premieres at Cannes and no one involved felt the need to leak anything sooner

Kek how’s he going to get away with this one? Interesting that the Guardian of all publications didn’t mention it on the headline of the article

maybe the scene called for the topless women to feel uncomfortable regarding the male gaze and to recoil at the objectification?

the sudden (artificial) influx of negative rumours about this movie being published by the media coincidentally just as it's about to premiere at Cannes leads me to believe this movie is going to be kino and hollywood doesn't like that for whatever reason

for my part, based on the trailer and the production backstory, this looks good.
