It stays consistent throughout and the premise is solid but it never peaks and prior to the ending it falters a little because they introduce an ineffective Char clone.
When did just being good stop being enough? What the hell do you moronic homosexuals want? It's like you fricks can't enjoy anything if it's not the most constantly HYPE AS SHIT FRICKIGN EPIC POSSIBLE.

It's not even that, everybody expects 80s anime to all be revolutionary because oldgays are constantly shitting on modern anime thus raising expectations for older ones, but then when people go to check out these anime they find rather average and inoffensive stories instead of the masterworks they were expecting.

yeah, it's interesting enough, nice robot fights, cool zaps similar to how Ideon has a lot of different rays, the kids manage to not be surprisingly not annoying
also it pays a bit more attention to stuff like "learning to pilot the robot"
it does get kinda repetitive at points, and it also demonstrates why taking a while to show them learning to pilot the robot would get in the way of most stories, but it's generally a fun ride
Like someone else said, I always took it to refer to the various vernier thrusters. Similar to how the space-use pack from ATs in Votoms is called a 'Round Mover'. Three axes of movement and all that, for zero-g.
its uh.. have some music instead
A vernian that's round

based, people have too high standards nowadays, especially for a genre like mecha. it's great if a show's amazing, but good is good, too.
It's not standards it's unrealistic expectations and obsessesion with media in general.

No one is doing this.
Are you kidding me? I see it happen all the time, people talk up shows like L-Gaim, Ideon, and Layzner when they're just pretty middle of the road.
lol
currently I perceive an absence of such an occurrence
No one is doing that.

It's a cool futuristic name for a robot. Note the kanji means "galactic drifter" and has nothing to do with shape or calipers.
