The season finale seems to be more about Jinx getting a little genocide-y, I think the family will mostly be antagonists for around the first half of the season before Molly convinces them not all ghosts are bad (obviously, because they’re literally exactly the same entities as humans but just in different states of being you dumb fricking chinamen) and they become allies
The finale title kinda already gives away that Jinx is gonna be the final boss.
Most likely him and his family just don't know any better and will ultimately come around.

They established her entire calling was seeking out and eliminating joy, so with the Chairman gone she's probably bereft of purpose and most likely vengeful, not to mention the power vaccum from his absence. Plus she was sufficiently threatening when Scratch got found out.
More than anything, there really isn't anybody else who can fill the spot, so it might as well be her.
