>I've noticed every muslim I've come across is a weeb
Man, white people are really slow on the uptick.
>I've noticed that lots of muslims are weebs >I've noticed that lots of Southeast Asians are weebs >I've noticed that lots of Hispanics are weebs >I've noticed that lots of black people are weebs
You ever think that most of the planet just enjoys stuff and isn't super insecure about liking anime/manga like white people are because they think liking something from an Asian country makes them some kind of fricking race traitor?

It also helps that Japan just gives people what they want and like, while white media shoves in garbage and tells you "see this trash, you should like it, and if you don't you're a bigot!"
The only population on the planet that isn't full of weebs when it comes to people who actually watch animation and read comics is the western white population, because they hate things like fanservice (unless it's gay/furry) and cute artstyles.
What a moronic comment wrt this movie. Pakistan is a Muslim country ... It's clearly inspired by Ghibli and the World Masterpiece Theatre franchise, not Ikki Tousen or High School DXD.
WMT shows never made much of a dent in the Anglosphere because of rights issues and when they came out. All but one of the shows were based on western novels, many of which weren't public domain at the time. Most people had three or four TV channels and most broadcasters would rather run locally produced content they owned instead of importing a show in another language. For non-Anglo broadcasters, that didn't apply. Many didn't have the money to produce content themselves and there's little difference between importing an American show to dub or a Japanese one. Heck, the licensing fees were probably cheaper.
>Pakistan is a Muslim country
I can tel you've never interacted with the weebs in South/Southeast Asia.
They are horny as frick and fricking ADORE fanservice, to the point where nowadays they'll boycott local releases that censor the fanservice and just opt for piracy instead.

Still doesn't change the fact that anon was blabbering about fanservice in regards to a movie inspired by shit that had next to none of it.

Anon was talking about Japan giving people what they want, the fanservice was just an example that white people hate despite the rest of the planet liking it.
Maybe it's just because the artstyle looks similar to Studio Ghibli, but this film feels old fashioned in some way. Like some kinda niche animated movie from the mid 2000s that was rediscovered.
>‘The Glassworker’ is a hand-drawn animated feature film directed by Usman Riaz and created by Mano Animation Studios. >It is the first hand-drawn animated feature from Pakistan and will release in 2023.
Well that sure is a long ways away. At least the movies being made in English, so maybe it won't take that long to get released over here.
youre only saying that because you see the rough unfinished frames in there. if it was completely finished you would have called it digitally tweened garbage.

What did they mean by this?
>MC is vaguely brown so Pakicels can self-insert >main girl is white and speshully talented >whole thing is set in not-Europe
This is just uninspired escapist fantasy for rickshaw pullers on the streets of Karachi
Cool
Looks like a Ghibli knock off but still interesting

>Dragon Ball Z for some reason
DBZ might be the ultimate unifier, the thing that truly unites mankind
I dunno, depends on the dub.
>DBZ might be the lowest common denominator
