You mean like a first and last name? What autistic bullshit is this?

I assume Anon means who aren't just nameless one offs. How one goes about measuring that would be pretty tough. I imagine he has a pretty high count, if only because he's being around and killing for about eighty years; calculating it would be a feat because how does one become a "named" character? Are we just counting Main Cast characters? Supporting? Guy that was in a panel where he introduces himself and then gets facial'd by a Hydrochloric Acid Cream Pie? And that's not even factoring in retcons, in universe resurrections and Universal reboots.
If Joker kills a guy in say the Golden Age and then again in the Modern (possibly as a reference to that Golden Age kill), does it count twice?
Is a particular kill nullified if the killed party is Rez'd in Universe or by a Reboot? You'd think this doesn't matter, but remember Joker killed the whole of China and Killed and Revived Batman thousands of times in Emperor Joker.
These are only some of the questions muddying the waters on this subject that's frankly so banal it's kind of not worth doing one's due dilligence and tracking every single solitary named character who the Joker kills. At best you'd have a new metric to shriek about Batman's not killing him and frankly, you Black folk just don't have the gumption.

How does one become a “named character’? Any superhero, villain, or supporting character important enough to a protagonist (like Gordon’s wife)

Was Gordon's wife who was killed by the Joker the same detective he had the affair with in Year One?

Pretty much any DC character ever published since all the worlds were mashed together in crisis and arguably not the originals. Anyone who was in any DC comic before 1985 died and got replaced by doppelgangers.
