They were the weakest part of their show. The side characters were more interesting, but it's unlikely we'll see them again. Loud House has its own side characters to favor, like Flip, Grouse, and the McBrides.
I like sid and her happa e-girl sister but lets not act like the casagrande side characters were for the most part any less shit then the loud house side characters. The thing is that while the louds are all enjoyable the casagrandes all suck except for like carl

Supernatural stuff is fine in a show that established the setting world where these kinds of things are plausible. You can't start a series with a grounded world and introduce that stuff later, that's just a lack of care.

It's an issue that other people have brought up too. A lot of the charm came from the relatability in the real woeld despite having quirky exaggerated characters. A lot of people can relate to the situations they went through with their own siblings. Now there's crap like time travel and shrink rays, takes some of that relatability away. Again, it's fine for other shows, but none of this would ever happen in the first few seasons, when they took the world TLH consistent.

You know, I've been binging 'Craig of the Creek' lately, and what I notice is that for at least 95% of the show, it has generally presented itself as a grounded show, albeit featuring very idiosyncratic characters. All sorts of surreal stuff is often the result of the kids' imaginations.
