Because Lucy episodes always come complete with other members of the morticians club. They're like Lincoln and his friends.

Yeah, but they're rather one-note. Even Lincoln's friends have at least something distinguishing them.

"The Loathe Boat" was rather lackluster, as expected.

Again, the Morticians Club has a very poor dynamic that doesn't lend itself well to ensemble casts. They're too much of a blob to have anything that can stand out.

The episode itself is kind of rather half-baked. The quality of versimilitude is somewhat better, with no real ghost shenanigans. My only nitpick in that metric was the presence of dolphins in Lake Eddy. I thought they don't live in lakes?

The execution of the plot could have been better. I feel that they could have done well to have the kids talk to Bernard's parents about this first.

Also, how come they don't even know his last name? That struck me as odd.

    I give the episode a 6.5/10.

"Alpaca Lies" was somewhat better in that at least Ronnie Anne and Bobby actually try to talk to their dad directly as the first resort.

Otherwise, it's the usual gaslighting bad behavior plot, but with an alpaca.

I don't know why the alpaca even got involved with Arturo like he was a human. It's a cartoon, but the show has always generally had a relatively grounded depiction of animals. Even with the more zany execution here, this is a stretch.

I also don't know why the alpaca even has it out for them. It's rather ridiculous for an animal like that to be so spiteful from the get go.

Also, Arturo is kind of out of character for this episode. I thought he cared for his kids.

The only good parts were the interactions between Ronnie Anne and Bobby. They have a much better dynamic that makes them likeable.

I saw myself liking it slightly more than "The Loathe Boat", but not that much. I give a 7/10.

"Rocket Plan" was a very interesting and generally fun episode.

Call me ignorant, but I didn't know CJ went to school. I thought he was homeschooled. I would have loved to see an episode about that.

The plot about building a rocket was very fun. There were all sorts of shenanigans going on about rocket science that were pretty engaging. The only drawback was with them using Lalo as toilet humor. It feels rather unnecessary.

The climax when Hector decides to fib (and by that I mean cheat) by buying a rocket gets pretty gut-wrenching when Hector's scheme all falls apart and literally sends him flying.

The resolution feels very much earned after all this.

It's very nice to see a different pairing of characters in the Casagrande family, and it's done quite well.

Plus Sergio didn't get in the way either, so that's a big plus.

I give this episode an 8.5/10. The best of today's bunch.
