Watching Wandavision where Monica is all grim and dull and eating up the screen time along with Darcy and Jimmy Woo, and then watching the behind the scenes doc where Teyonah Parris was actually fun, bubbly, and clearly just happy to be there was like night and day

Don’t these actresses take offense to being shot, lit and edited to look hideous? The MCU really just takes pretty women and makes them look grotesque. Steinfeld isn’t exactly pretty but she’s not fat and yet in the Hawkeye stuff she looked like a fat ugly boy. These three particularly Kamala look awful.
She went from winning an Oscar for Room to standing in front of a greenscreen in a Marvel slopfest that was so mediocre Disney had to buy half the tickets themselves to doing nothing for almost 5 years to now being in a sequel that she's been largely edited out of. Career downturn doesn't do it justice, more like career shot out of a vertical cannon into the gutter. I wouldn't be smiling either.
She peaked early and hit the wall HARD. It's also made her abhorrently arrogant when working with other actors that haven't "her Acclaim" frick the way she talks down to everyone in interviews is laughable.

KSD got handed carte blanche to turn Carol into "Marvel's Wonder Woman" and she just kind of spun her wheels for multiple runs and they never really a big redefining arc for the character, so we're left with "she's in space and strong and powerful and stunning and brave and has a cat"
