The Peoples Joker is getting rave reviews.

The People’s Joker is getting rave reviews. She is amazing and I hope this movie gets all the hype and love it deserves. Vera Drew is an amazing woman and amazing actor/director.

I hope Gunn and DC make this canon.

He kind of fricked up his online rep (which is obviously important to him, as it's the only realm where he's remotely well- known) by having a Hot Take™ on Ed Piskor before the body was cold.

Not gonna lie that's a pretty lukewarm take. You have a guy who did something scummy and committed suicide when the internet descended upon him. Within the discussion of accountability we do have the observation of when it crossroads into a gossip culture of sorts and this is gonna just be one of the takes that is sure to come up. I doubt anyone would turn on the guy for this specific take.

              [...]
It is a reasonable take, if we are being serious, but it is not the official take as of last decade when "cyberbullying and it's consequences" began to be taken seriously. People killing themselves has been somebody else's fault every time unless that somebody else was the hecking good guy.
That being said, no matter how correct it is, he phrases it with clear vitriol here (further tarnishing the man's memory by implying he killed himself as some form of revenge) that won't win him any points with the only people left who are liable to agree with him.

I don't even necessarily disagree with his take, but I think it's in poor fricking taste to slap that up there mere hours after Piskor's death was confirmed. It goes to show a certain level of Twitter brainworm group-think that will eventually consume him the moment he slips up.

I’m confused. Is this a legit WB Joker elsewhere movie?

No. It is a “”””parody””” made by a troony and produced by Tim Heidecker.

WB tried to kill it but it didn’t stick.

So it really is just like Joaquin Phoenix's Joker.

But i guess its more groundes in realism. Since gays/trans are often linked with mental illness. gays will think its a parody, chuds will think its outing trannies as crazy and meant to be serious.

Normal people dont want to watch it.

I prefer the rumor that the Harley Quinn of Gunn's DCU is gonna be a Commissioner Gordon from the future who's bottled up frustration for the Joker caused him to turn trans and was sent back in time by Bat-Mite to be raped by Joker (in retaliation for Gordon raping him).
