The Resurrection of the Christ (2023)

>In June 2016, writer Randall Wallace stated that he and Gibson had begun work on a sequel to The Passion of the Christ focusing on the resurrection of Jesus.[114] Wallace previously worked with Gibson as the screenwriter for Braveheart and director of We Were Soldiers.[115] In September of that year, Gibson expressed his interest in directing it. He estimated that release of the film was still "probably three years off",[116] stating that "it is a big project".[117] He implied that part of the movie would be taking place in Hell and, while talking to Raymond Arroyo, said that it also may show flashbacks depicting the fall of the Angels.

Anyone else planning to convert to Catholicism in time for this film's premiere in Easter 2023.

Too bad Jim Caviezel is too old to play Jesus again.

        >In a 2018 interview with USA Today, Jim Caviezel said "I won't tell you how he's going to go about it. But I'll tell you this much, the film he's going to do is going to be the biggest film in history. It's that good." He also said, "There are things that I cannot say that will shock the audience..It's great. Stay tuned. Also don't forget to smash that like button and hit subscribe if you haven't already. Born, raised and practicing. No need to convert. Would be based to see church numbers pump up a bit though.

It's (the Latin Church) already, by far, the largest single denomination in the world.
But yes, further growth can never be a bad thing, I particularly like the idea of 'reclaiming' lost Christendom, particularly the northern European countries that succumbed to the Protestantism meme.
Expansion into more of Eastern Europe would be nice too, but seems unfeasible.
Perhaps with the Ukraine crisis though, who knows.

I maintain that Protestantism is largely responsible for people turning away from Christianity.

Well of course, look at the state of Protestantism today and look at majority Protestant countries.
They didn't just erode their Christian faith to the point of nothingness, they are currently in the process of eroding their very selves to complete nothingness.

Where in the Bible it says you'll have to attend churchs or trust priests in order to be Christian?

Catholics aren't solo scriptura, doesn't have to say anywhere in the bible for it to be true

Based, this. Roman Catholics are a militant Christian cult.

Don't call me based and then insult my religion moron
Sola scriptura is fundamentally a nonsensical concept

Prots used to have some semblance of religiosity and reverence in their liturgies, but over time and with the precedent that the reformation set, it was doomed from the start to become a farce

It just came out at a time when it was 'cool' and 'normal' and 'current' to hate on Christianity, particularly Roman Catholicism.

Daily reminder the “fall of the angels” isn’t in the Bible. It’s part of the apocrypha which is just israeli mystic nonsense that was added in later to make the story of the Bible more polytheistic, to appease the pagans
