B5 doesn't actually have jump drives despite the name. Their tech opens portals into and out of subspace instead of how Trek stuff creates subspace fields around their ships to break the laws of physics.
Discovery can instantly jump to any given points in space.
I'm pretty sure Macquarie designed the ship with artificial gravity in mind and the people who made STD are scientific illiterate who thought "it'd be cool if it spins"
The ship is equipped with an experimental propulsion and the spinning plates are required for it to work. It's really no more hard to understand than warp drive = nacelles.
>Warp drive engines creating artificial gravity and propulsion not good enough >I know lets add huge spinning sections that are SURE to never fail or incur unneeded complexity not to mention if you stare at them for too long you get seasick! win/win
You're still overthinking it.
The people who designed it dont understand star trek and think if they just build the sickest looking most spinny shining lights rotating bogus new fungus spore warpdrive ship people will flock to their show, not understanding that autistically obsessing over how the "science" in star trek works and collecting tech manuals and all that shit is an integral part of what kept the franchise going.

the science in star trek has always been moronic. Absolutely nothing about it makes sense. How replicators work, how the holodeck works, how their anti-gravity works, how he warp drive works, how teleportation works, how their computers work, how impulse engines work, and the idea of a dilithium crystal is frickign moronic. It's even dumber that dilithium can't be made in replicators because of arbitrary plot reasons. They solved the heisenberg uncertainty principle, are able to arrange the quantum field strings down the the planck scale, and can replicate literally anything but not this one thing for reasons we can't say.
Oh but they mentioned dyson spheres one time so it's sciencey. Get the frick out of here.

TNG is philosophically always at odds with itself. They talk about the prime directive a hundred times but never follow it. They talk about using diplomacy and peace but the enterprise is clearly a war ship. It carries on it several hundred extremely powerful nuclear warheads and phasers that can delete mountains.
The warheads would have a blast radius of at least 50 miles and they fire them point blank at other ships. Not to mention the other inconsistencies with the weapons. Phasers that fricking miss all the time despite the ships being at most 1km away from one another. And when they get hit without their shields it does almost no damage despite again, being powerful enough to erase an entire mountain. The ships are made out of regular titanium and aluminum alloys. I can see shields taking a hit but a 65MT warhead? Fricking moronic.

Its a bad show, why? Because they hated the source material deep with in them. They knew communism could never create a Federation where real good men come together, so they had to nix that. Also a communist nation could never create a show like Star Trek even in its simplistic low budget form.
It reeked of hatred for the original as did all the subsequent Treks. So frick Rick Berman and all the other communists that went out of their way from Trek II to now. Frick you!

What's crazy is how little they do with it. They could have traveled to the edge of the universe just to see what would happen and they don't. They could use it to explore other galaxies but they stay in the milk way. In the last seasons, they cancel development of any further spore drive development despite it being infinitely better than warp drives.

This is the exact plot of the Harmony Gold interp of "Robotech" with the Flower of Life.
the CG in discovery is pretty decent. It's leagues better than the shit in the older treks. I know how much gays love their models but they have always looked like cheap models with shitty cg pew pews added in. The lighting and compositing on them is never coherent either. The battles were always just two models slowly move away from one another as the camera pans just as slowly as the ships are moving.
Look at the atmosphere of the planet and/or the size of the torpedoes. It looks awful.

Probably meaning the torpedoes are hitting the planet too quickly for the distance like it's a few kilometers away from the ship, or the planet is about the size of an asteroid.

>Probably meaning the torpedoes are hitting the planet too quickly for the distance like it's a few kilometers away from the ship, or the planet is about the size of an asteroid.
Pretty much. The distance between the atmosphere and the ground doesn't make sense for the camera angle and the perspective given by the torpedoes makes the ship gigantic relative to the planet.
Anonymous
Might be a result of the low attention span of the writers or their assumed audience. Make everything go faster instead of having proper pacing.
It's probably why they came up with the instant teleport personal transporters that don't need a transporter room scene or even any actual targeting of the pattern to a specific location using any actual equipment. Just tap the badge and you magically teleport where you wanted to go, and can also do it while walking or flying in zero-g. Not even spending the time to stand still for five seconds for a normal transporter sequence.

photon torpedoes move at like 75% the speed of light. It would take about a second to travel a 1/4 million miles. basically from the moon to earth. The distance in that shot seems fine.
And you can say they put the photon torpedoes in a different location because of the spinning disc. it's all powered by anti-matter anyways so it's not like they would be any more dangerous if they were closer to the engines or farther away.
Anonymous
>autistic sperg
The torpedos are giant relative to the planet and small relative to the ship. For the scale of the ship relative to the planet the atmosphere is too flat against the ground. Basically, if the planet were earth the ship is bigger than Texas.
What's so bad about this shot? It's nothing special but it isn't bad. Looks better than what a model would have looked like. At least the torpedoes cast lights on the ship.
He's being an autismo over the fact the shots come from the ships nacelles, when traditionally the torpedo launchers on Trek ships are from the center hull underneath the saucer
They just went with a shot that looks good instead of following old design language
Is that supposed to be "dogshit"? Because it isn't. That was one of the better scenes of the show, or any of the shows, and most fans who aren't culture war addled bumpkins actually liked the battle.
This is considered good to actual Trek fans, yes. There is no "nu-trek", this is the same kind of boomer hostility you used to see towards the Star Wars prequels. More specifically the federation isn't a place for racism. It's supposed to be aspirational, a hopeful future where man overcomes his baser instincts, not action schlock reiterating the same bleak outlook as all the other media trek is an escape from
Star Trek isn't about action. It's about characters. It's about people, decisions, philosophy, thinking about problems with an open mind, and so on.
Star Trek also features military fiction scripts, such as the ship warfare between Kirk and the Romulans in the original series, the military in the universe makes sense, they have ranks, the captain has to respect his superiors and has a duties to fulfill, he's not a "main character" who can do whatever he feels like.
Character action isn't Star Trek, and it never will be since the first original seasons made with the creator never sought that theme. The Next generation is the final Star Trek series that actually features Roddenberry fixing up the nonsense and keeping the show walking forwards. At about Deep Space 9 there's no more canon Star Trek.

That's the only reason to have the majority of the crew in the spinning section
Doesn't make sense. It's even dumber than just saying they invented antigravity somehow.
Discovery has a jump drive, the saucer section spinning is part of it's system that bleeds off excess energy or something along those lines

I'm pretty sure Macquarie designed the ship with artificial gravity in mind and the people who made STD are scientific illiterate who thought "it'd be cool if it spins"
>Let's try spinning. That's a neat trick! Wizard!
The ship is equipped with an experimental propulsion and the spinning plates are required for it to work. It's really no more hard to understand than warp drive = nacelles.
>Warp drive engines creating artificial gravity and propulsion not good enough
>I know lets add huge spinning sections that are SURE to never fail or incur unneeded complexity not to mention if you stare at them for too long you get seasick!
Yeah that's the biggest STD killer, it's so moronicly non-scientific. I don't need a heroes journey out of trek, I need weird science shit and ethical quandries with some light humor.
the science in star trek has always been moronic.
Ooo the old
>it was always bad, so my thing is good
No old trek use to have really neat ideas about the ideas and specifically the ethics of scientific progress without driving down too much on the hard science
>what if we could make human like automatons
>would we make them slaves
>let's have a court procedural about it
Show me anything that's close to "measure of a man" in Nu trek.
>have an episode where the computer just makes a super intelligence and they put it in storage
Yeah they thought super hard on that subject.
>We must dismantle data in order to build more of him
Why not just use the data from the transporters to recreate him? You have literally every quark and string in every known superposition of his being and you can't just use that information to do it?
Again, the science has always been shit if you think about it for 3 seconds.
Everyone agrees that episode completely falls apart if you actually think about the plot for more than one second. A logical and legal mess. It’s praised and beloved for the acting and character work. Nobody will be discussing any of the P+ shows in 35 years.
Next Generation IS Nu Trek.
TNG as so awful. Talk, talk, talk, talk, Techno Babble, Techno Babble, Ipso Facto Incomprehensible Techno Babble, dull acting, show ends, huh what sorry I fell asleep.
How much did the Obsidian Order pay you to post this? The Enterprise is clearly a diplomacy ship, now please ignore our biolabs in the neutral zone
Frick you!
God to have Star Trek back one more time.
Well yeah it's hard to write a drama about a utopia. You could take the easy route and say "well what if our little utopia isn't so perfect tee hee hee" or you could go the route of the best of tng and make the drama of trying to follow lofty ideals and the struggle of self improvement.
>Talk, talk, talk, talk
Yes Screenplays are Show don't Tell.
>I watched an YouTube video on screenwriting
Frick off pseud
That's not really the point.
I dont give a shit about how the pseudoscience that makes a warpdrive go brrr works, I'm saying you can't publish media for 60 fricking years saying it's one way and then contradict it because you think space mushrooms sounds like a cool idea.
It'd be different if they used something else that's related to some of the other established modes of transportation but fungusdrive is just a complete asspull like every other aspect of the show.
Wait, does the warp drive actually run on shrooms?
They found a type of spore that is able to interact with subspace and they sort of "hijack" that interaction for faster-than-warp travel.
Yeah, imagine a show about technological progress wanting to progress technology, omg it's WOKE!!1!!!!!!
But he didn't say woke, you're just throwing that in to make sure you don't confront the reality of STD being schlock
You don't need to say it every other breath for someone to know where you're coming from.
If you're gonna say "you keep saying woke" then yes I would want to see the person actually say woke you dipshit
You in the group sense, moron.
Notice how the Connie can actually function as such?
That moronic STD design is even useless as a cutter.
>Hey check out this new super OP thing federation ships can do
>IN THE PAST
Prequels man, they never work
Nani!?
Ha-hayai
this looked good tbh, the other stuff...
the CG in discovery is pretty decent. It's leagues better than the shit in the older treks. I know how much gays love their models but they have always looked like cheap models with shitty cg pew pews added in. The lighting and compositing on them is never coherent either. The battles were always just two models slowly move away from one another as the camera pans just as slowly as the ships are moving.
>the CG in discovery is pretty decent.
...that looks good?
The scale is moronic.
What.
And you can say they put the photon torpedoes in a different location because of the spinning disc. it's all powered by anti-matter anyways so it's not like they would be any more dangerous if they were closer to the engines or farther away.
>autistic sperg
The torpedos are giant relative to the planet and small relative to the ship. For the scale of the ship relative to the planet the atmosphere is too flat against the ground. Basically, if the planet were earth the ship is bigger than Texas.
Nothing is perfect.
https://youtube.com/shorts/oCCFuerUrd8?si=CNjDaugc17zMj0_P
It that supposed to be Cestus Three from the original Arena?
It's Outpost Four from Balance of Terror
He should have turned off the tv.
Why are they shooting pulsed shots now? What happened to phaser arrays?
Those are torpedoes
Also pulse phasers have existed forever
They made the Enterprise into a fidget spinner lol
Never existed
Why are the warp engines not connected to the nacelles?
In the future of the future we don't need physical connections, force fields and transporters are integrated into the structure.
>The crew
Also fake
The show being dogshit isn't
Is that supposed to be "dogshit"? Because it isn't. That was one of the better scenes of the show, or any of the shows, and most fans who aren't culture war addled bumpkins actually liked the battle.
>this is considered "good" to nu-trek fans
This is considered good to actual Trek fans, yes. There is no "nu-trek", this is the same kind of boomer hostility you used to see towards the Star Wars prequels. You watched the franchise when you were too young to actually get it and just saw space ships and lasers, you missed the actual message and meaning, and now that you're old enough to get it you think it went "woke", a word you can't even define. No, it didn't go anything, it was always like this. It was never your Heinlein jack boot fantasy and never will be.
>This is considered good to actual Trek fans, yes.
How does it feel to be a goyslop consuming drone?
I wouldn't know. How does it feel to be such a meme poisoned loser that you think entirely in memes and can no longer form complete sentences without the use of little buzzwords?
>I wouldn't know
So you're in denial? Sounds about right. Lmao thank god modern star trek has zero cultural relevance any more, feels pretty good.
Trek has plenty of cultural relevance, you're just in a bubble of racist shit heads who think the height of culture is greentext and reposting memes for five years.
>muh racism
>muh culture
Surprised you haven't started seething about chuds yet. Still you should go back.
>racist
what's wrong with that?
>you're just in a bubble of racist shit heads
I like to call it "America"
>you're just in a bubble
THAT is what the internet is now. Everyone gets put in their own little bubbly echo chambers. Nobody can debate or disagree anymore without a dogpile or conniption fit happening.
Damn homie, you crusty
I’m still not watching it.
Nobody gives a shit what culturally irrelevant internet racists watch, you probably pirate so you don't even show up in the market, congratulations on total irrelevance.
Ah the modern marketing approach. good luck with your franchise
>the same boomer hostility you showed towards the prequels
It's well earned hostility to dog shit moron.
Well earned? How would you know, you're "still not watching it" remember dipshit? You've never even seen it, just some fricking memes and bullshit.
That's a different anon you're sperging at. I watched STD and it's garbage tier, like the prequels. Maybe, like the prequels, something far worse will come out that raises their value, but that's unlikely. Paramount Star Trek fricked the soul of Star trek, it's like an entire series of "actually Darth Vader built c3po" moments one after another with no ending in sight. It was made for nobody and I can't fathom why anyone would defend it.
You obviously didn't watch it actually but whatever, I'm so fricking sick of you morons overrunning this board, we can't ever talk about a show because some fricking meme decided it was "woke", and when you ask what that even means you get blank stares and more stupid memes. You people should be killed.
Or maybe it’s just a shitty show? I tried watching it and it was awful
How are you on the internet in 2024 and dont know what woke is?
I know exactly what it is, an empty nothing that morons throw around freely to pretend like they're saying something of substance. It doesn't actually mean anything which is why you can never consistently define it.
Yeah you're right that's what it means.
That's exactly what entire debates are being held on right now.
There is no debate. There's a group of reasonable people laughing at a group of reactionary evangelical morons who just cry out "woke! woke! woke!" while they cry into a bible at night because they saw a Black actor or a Trek show dared to showcase a political vision for the future, something it has been doing since the 50s. What is there to even argue about? I'm trying to talk about the show with other fans of the show and without fail every single time you get a brigade of morons coming in to fight their CULTURE WARZZZZ!!!1!!1! by mindlessly repeating their hollow woke word on a show that THEY ADMIT THEY HAVE NEVER EVEN SEEN!!!
>a bunch of evangelical morons yelling "woke woke"
You're the same, you just deflect every criticism by yelling "racist, racist".
At star trek fans lmfao.
The difference is that racist actually means something, and you demonstrate racism on a regular basis. Woke means literally nothing, you can't even define it in a way that is consistent with how it is used. It's a hollow word that you change the meaning of whenever it suits you.
What have I said or done that is racist, be specific
I don't know who you are dipshit and I don't care, you lay down with dogs so don't be surprised when you get fleas. The vast, vast, vast majority of the people who hate this show have never seen it and literally just cry that the lead is a Black woman. Don't act like you haven't seen racism here.
>the lead is a Black woman
Which is a legitimate reason to reject the show
Nobody wants to see that shit
You are a schizo
>I'd you don't like bad show than you're le heckin racist
Holy shit. I accept your concession lmfao
You're full of a shit, take a look at
right there it fricking is.
Try again schizo!
lol. Nice try samegay. Funny how that post showed up right when you needed it most...
Actually, you're just a dip shit.
No he's not. And neither am I!
You see? Someone agreed with me!
Woke evades definition in the same way that terms like pornography and propaganda evade definition. It’s amorphous… nebulous… attempts to strictly define it so not service what is a clearly observable phenomenon. The kind of person who asks you to define it isn’t even interested in the definition but rather holding you to a strict definition in an attempt to win an argument. Megahomosexual.
It's funny because 1 or 2 years ago when the "define woke" meme started happening I just said "woke is the bleeding edge of progressive politics" and it still is but now it more refers to those politics in media as opposed to in a person. It used to be people were "woke" now its a term used mostly for media
It’s a powerful term and everyone knows it’s derogatory. Nobody wants to be associated with it. Hence the screeching.
Again, you are exactly spot-on.
Now excuse me, I have to watch ted cruz debate AOC on why deep space nine is less woke than discovery.
Evangelical christians are some of the biggest anti-White Black person lovers in existence.and the show sucks because of Black folk and fat b***hes, simple as.
>decided it was "woke",
if it wasn't woke then it would very clear. it's woke because that's what it is.
I never called it work ensign strawman, I called it soulfricking trash made for nobody because that's what it is. You should probably go back to plebit for your heckin wholesome talk about unredeemable schlock. They like that stuff there
I know what you meant, and so do you.
I don't think it's a woke show, at least insomuch as that's what kills it. It's a nothing show which is why you attack the politics of the people shitting on it as opposed to talking about its merit.
We all know you know the show is shit. You never bring up anything redeeming about the show just b***h at the people who don't like it. It's a tell. If you liked the show you'd say
>but this episode was great
>this character had a great arc
>this season was really interesting
But you don't. You just go into your bag of spam buzzwords and call people chuds or racists or whatever because the show does not back your arguements
The Mudd episode(s) were great. Burnham, Lorca, Georgiou, and Tilly all had a great arc. The first season was really interesting.
Maybe the reason you get called a racist piece of shit all the time is because you're a racist piece of shit? When you ask people to describe grass they say green, shocker I know.
What was great about tillys arc? the velocity of expansion?
Becoming a confident officer and leader in her own right. It's about the growth of a person, something the people here obviously wouldn't connect with since most of you are 45 and still living in the same bedroom you had when you were 15, crying that Star Trek isn't in the 80s anymore and there's a...a...a WOMAN IN IT OH NO WOKE WOKE WOKE
>growth of a person,
But she never grew. She wanted to be a cvommand officer but sshe sucked at it so she became a teacher, then she sucked at that as well. She continues sucking at it right up until the end of the show where her big epiphany moment is "maybe I should set up a mentorship program for starfleet cadets", that's what her whole journey resolved to achieve. The takeaway from Tilly's story arc is "Aim low because you probably won't live up to your own expectations".
>The takeaway from Tilly's story arc is "Aim low because you probably won't live up to your own expectations"
Excelsior!
She kinda did grow.
The takeaway from Tilly's story arc is Chinese. Extra egg rolls.
>And nine gallons of lo mein. Yes, that's right. Gallons.
I have said nothing racist and no one calls me a racist piece of shit.
>the Mudd episodes were great
The first one was passable
>Here's a list of characters that had good arcs but nothing about why, they just are okay
Try again copester
>getting this mad about a shitty show
Go smoke some weed or cuddle with your body pillow or something. You're too high strung.
I tried watching strange new worlds and couldn't make it past the first episode. It was that terrible. Has nothing to do with it being woke. You're just booty blasted that nobody really likes nutrek.
>missed the actual meaning
That's you anon. You think browbeating one of the most forward thinking and accepting franchises with "hecking white males are bad amiright" is star trek. Nu trek isn't preaching to the choir, it's hanging an innocent man
Based and extremely underrated post. Trek has no place for racism and that includes the anti-white shit that's been so popular since Obama legalized propaganda in 2013.
>trek has no place for racism
Based
>but DS9/VOY/ENT at least have some redeeming episodes. I can't say the same for nu trek. TNG might just be an impossible standard.
Except that TNG became much better after s2, which coincided with Gene’s death?
Starships and characters have always had weapons, moron. The torpedoes aren't "woke", you're just an imbecile.
I think you're too low IQ for me to even bother formulating a rebuttal.
I guarantee I'm a lot smarter than you, someone who is probably an internet racist who thinks he's fighting a 'culture war' by lying about a tv show to other internet racists on a website.
Circular logic about a catch all word that has zero real meaning.
>The torpedoes aren't "woke
the writers and stars of the show are.
Literally the worst seasons of TNG were the Roddenberry ones.
That's season 1, he had his stroke in 89 and season 2/3 are probably the best of the show.
>TNG
>characters
Picard and Data, maybe, but I'd hardly call the rest of the cast "characters"
The problem with 26 episode seasons is that they’re written by several dozen people with several dozen visions. Picard and Data probably have the most characterization, but even they’re at the whims of whoever’s penning the script that week.
>Look Chud, if Worf wants to die, then let him die. A crippled Klingon is useless and he knows it.
And all the episodes where Data was reduced to a LITERAL exposition bot.
>zoomer discovers episodic television where actors/writers develop characters over time
Lol
there's that famous chainsaw suit about it but this one makes me laugh more
>Q gets Cosmic Trickster’s block
>Reduced to changing the lighting and furniture and water pressure just enough to make the crew notice something’s off.
>Character action isn't Star Trek, and it never will be since the first original seasons made with the creator never sought that theme.
Guy, Gene Rodenberry was emulating the show Wagon Train with the first Star Trek series, Wagon Train was a Western and had a decent amount of action as did the original Star Trek.
>Flying into a space battle with phonex wings in noting but a space suit with so much DAKKADAKKA on the screen you need four tv's around your main one just to show all the spillover is considered "good"
>Ships move faster than light
>Also scan and communicate faster than light
>Transporters are devastating weapons once shields are down
>Disabling engines and shields are the top priorities in these space battles
>Finally Star Trek battles in HD
>Every ship just sits there like 2 Man of Wars broadsiding each other
>Oh no it’s Phoenix Person! With the speed of half impulse.
>No one shoots him with their lightspeed weapons.
Why are the writers so malicious? They made this stupid shit cannon.
>Why are the writers so malicious?
Never attribute to malice, that which can be reasonably explained by stupidity.
>Never attribute to malice, that which can be reasonably explained by stupidity.
ah, frick that
it's fricking malice
these fricking groomers are evil and satanic, simple as
Yeah, but also incompetent
so awful. Discovery isn't canon.
>Actual Black space messiah
Callsign TurboLift
I like how when shitting all over established lore they just took out the part where everyone in Starfleet is super fit with 10km runs.
yes, very disco
how do you go from this
to this
some time in the sun
What a god awful design
you should see the klingons
name one (1) episode of STD that has left as much impact on pop culture as TOS or TNG
>
>
>
>
And also
>
Heh
who can say no the the magical jumping space Black?
Wtf is this DBZ tier nonsense? I may now have to watch your show
checked
it's obviously one of the most relevant and awesome scenes in the cultural touchstone that is star trek: discovery. only a horrible racist chud nazi who doesn't browse reddit wouldn't know something as obvious as this.
"She...she's broken through the racial boundaries!"
SHITSCOVEREDY
What the frick was the purpose of the J?
Look at all those iconic Discovery designs. They don't look like absolute garbage at all.
Fixt.
Lol
Dick measuring contest amongst designers and show creators is all that is.
Everything on this picture is tiny as frick if you bring the BLAME! Dyson Sphere into the mix.
for me, it's the blob with the things and the red stripes
Neat, my comparison chart was saved. Wonder if the description was too subtle though.
So…they are becoming The Culture
Now I'm getting the feeling that this guy is just a pathetic (You) farmer. Each post is getting more frantic and is loaded with more and more personal attacks than the last. No one actually cares about this show THIS much. Not even the creators.
Yeah maybe if he calls someone racist and woke he can get his dopamine
donut steel
the way it slides out of the screen and reappears by dropping in from above the screen is mental
whoever okd this needs to be fired
won't it be easier to just shoot a bunch of missiles from far away but give them different paths? You get the same effect
S-she's fast.
This is real? Kek what a shit show. I'm so glad I never even tried to watch this garbage.
STD being cancelled really must have mindbroken the 4 or 5 people left who were still watching it.
It was cancelled, it came to a conclusion.
It was cancelled.
>“We didn’t know [Season 5 would be the end]. We finished shooting in November of [2022] and then found out around the New Year — and we can’t say enough of our gratitude to CBS Studios and Paramount Plus for giving us the opportunity to go back and shoot some additional days, because we felt like we really then got to wrap up the series. Season 5 will feel like a satisfying journey.
>Then, we were able to kind of do a little bit extra to wrap up the show as a whole, and we’re so grateful for that. So when we got to go back and shoot that material we knew going in that those few days were going be the last days — and it was kind of cool, because we got to go in knowing that and really just appreciate being there; appreciate being with one another.
>We got to say goodbye on the sets, which was just a really special and bittersweet thing. So it was wonderful to get to do that.”
https://blog.trekcore.com/2024/03/michelle-paradise-star-trek-discoverys-cancellation-additional-filming/
i love when nutrek gays go "YEAH WELL THE OLD SHOWS WERE BAD" when backed into a corner. they lead such pathetic lives, knowing they willingly watch slop
STD can die in a fire and im neutral on LD but I hope they can squeeze a few more good 'sodes out of SNW.
This show actually did get a lot better after they went to the future. It still sucked but it was a 4/10 instead of a 2/10.
They should have called this shit Star Trek: Michael Burnham - The Michael Burnham Saga
Should've just called it Gay Minorities In Space
Fricking moronic.
I'm interested in the concept of woke torpedoes.
They have modulating pronouns so you can never be sure how to address them.
>starship has a disc
>call it discovery
It has 2 that rotate in opposite directions
>show is called STD
>ship has two dics
cuts pizza
Honestly?
Battlestar Galactica is better than any of the Star Trek shows after TNG.
Till the writers strike
>picrel
Frick RD Moore. Frick him.
Where's Michael?
Stupid phone auto completed to say WHERES MY ASS.
Even capitalized it.
I have never watched this drek but is that representative of how this ship functions? It spins on its AXIS with lightning coming out of it then just warps through reality or something? Oh man thats so bad.
I kek how Strange New Worlds just throws the whole STD show into the dump and just retcons it with, "it's classified." / "it never happened."
The show was great in s1 when Issacs was carrying the show as Lorca.
Then everything just revolves around Burnham, with the rest of the bridge crew ignored. Doesn’t help that Saru gets sidelined and the entire crew replaced with a bunch of nobodies in the final season.
For someone raised by Vulcans, she sure cries a lot
Discovery was pretty decent.
I like it. I'm going to miss it.
