Binge is a bit more enjoyable IMO. Gives you time to get fully immersed into the world. Downloading eps each week, it's like a short burst of pleasure and before you even forget yourself the episode's over.
Complete opposite for me, if I don't spread out a show over the course of a couple of months at least I feel like I never even watched it and often forget it altogether. That way it settles in as I think about it subconsciously throughout the days and sleep on it, even if I miss the original releases and only watch after the fact, I'll spread out my watching as much as I can.
Same goes with books really, it's why I prefer both books and TV series to movies.
