somewhere around '17 or so i really realized they're actually just very very stupid, arguably too stupid to be critiquing anything in any serious way. still watch them but its for the humor and never for the insights, because they have none. jay really just likes grossout shit and thinks it makes him deep and edgy and mike is full of terrible takes and ass-backwards ideas.
