Well Harriet Tubman and Frida Kahlo are supposed to look different to emphasize the time gap between Season 1 and 2, it's part of the plot.
I still don't understand why turn a parody of 90s teen dramas into ANOTHER FRICKING POLITICAL SATIRE
It isn't really. While cancel culture is part of the plot of the season opener, it's not really treated in a political way, politics never really gets involved, it's just comedy
Is it? Frida actually looks like a parody of Frida. Harriet just looks like a random black tumblrite. They could've easily kept all the sjw trappings but made her dress slightly more like Harriet.
>implying that the "very special episodes" clone high was created to parody weren't all political
anon what do you think raisins are supposed to be a metaphor for
>All
I mean what was the peer pressure one where Abe can't sleep about? Or the Snowflake Day One? Like I get the War on Christmas bit spreading out into all the major holidays but it was pretty quick and done. Or the Cleo and Joan roommate one. The VERY SPECIAL bit was a joke in that they were all VERY SPECIAL episodes.
I mean Antoinette, Caesar, Edison, Moses, The Elvises, Van Gogh Cleopatra, Marylin Monroe, Napoleon, Buddy Holly, Jimi Hendrix, PAUL REVEEEEEEERE .
Not even getting into simple stuff like Hairstyles and facial Hair which every Main Clone but Joan has.
I'm not asking for her to be full on dressed like Harriet Tubman in full civil war era garb. I just would've settled for headscarf and broached neckerchief. That shit even works fine with her Zoomer Activist aesthetic.
>what was the peer pressure one where Abe can't sleep about
performance enhancing drugs. >Or the Snowflake Day One?
that was clearly a satire of political correctness aka the exact same topic the new episode was about. yes the old episode is funnier but that's beside the point >Or the Cleo and Joan roommate one
I actually don't remember that episode that well but i'm pretty sure it was a civil war allegory.
>implying that the "very special episodes" clone high was created to parody weren't all political

The cultural skinwalkers that produce this stuff hate everything and see all works of fiction as existing for no reason than to be outlets for their political hysteria.
I agree with you but, take Joan for example
Could you guess it was her by her design alone? Joan is usually depicted as raven haired or blonde, not red like in the show
Anyway, she's from long before any expectation of realistic depictions of an individual in art. There's no way to design a '90s teen that looks like "Joan of Arc", unlike the other characters. Even Cleopatra just looks cartoonishly Egyptian (and hot) leading one's first guess to be the correct one, but it's not like Abe or JFK.
I mean with JFK and Abe it’s not more of a reasonable guess. But those are main characters. Genghis doesn’t look any at all like Genghis Khan nor doe Marie Antoinette
The new characters don't even look like Clone high characters, they look like nu TDI characters instead.

None of the clones dress like their clonemothers and clonefathers because they’re high schoolers
wrong

It's obviously dyed.

To be fair, Joan of Arc is the same way. They could've atleast given Confucius a hat or mustache or something.
Genghis still has his little beard, Marie is probably the least subtle. Unless you mean Catherine the Great who doesn't look like her at all.
>They could've atleast given Confucius a hat or mustache or something.
It would be called racist.
Especially compared to her hyper-cartoonishly- frida carlo
harriet tubman had brain damage from getting bashed in the dome with a rock
that blue hair tie thing is a clue
That's horrible but what's up with the pink hair then?
no idea, creative liberties
it's not a very good representation of her, but since her forehead is hidden I really can't think of other candidates
brain damage
Probable to 'create a distinct silhouette'
personally I don't think it looks good, it extends the silhouette by far too much.
>modern reboot sucks ass
wowee, who could have foreseen this. truly a shocking development.
There's nothing about this design that suggest that he's Gandhi. He could be any historical brown man.
Are they going to proceed with the joke that he was Gary Coleman's clone all along?
Executives didn't approve this pitch back then, I don't know if that would work now
Short
Bald
Brown
He looks like Gandhi.
Are you kidding me? You had plenty to choose from, and you go for one that looks exactly like it's meant to look?
Well he's thin, bald, and brown but not black.
So that's like a few things which suggest Gandhi.
OP, you are trolling
She looks exactly like the photograph
What would you change to make her look more like Tubman?
Never seen this show but this shit and frida kahlo look like they were taken from ppg 2016
Bad comparison
so where are they going with the joan/jfk/abe love triangle because joan and jfk are really cute right now and i don’t want to see them broken up
her season 1 look was better. a LOT better.
Why are there new clones that already appeared as background characters in the first season? Why aren't there 2 Abe Lincolns then or 2 JKFs?
Holy fricking shit, that rock really did a number on her.
