Nah Grand Theft Arlen is kino as frick and I wish there was a real KotH GTA clone. I'd play this shit out of a game where you can play as Dale and "exterminate" the gang population.
Is there a agreed upon cutoff for seasons like with the Simpsons? Like I haven't watched much of the episodes after Tom Petty joins the cast, but if we're counting those, there was an episode involving MySpace I saw that was complete garbage
Probably because I character gets straight up murdered and the cast are like "That sucks, oh well". Kind jarring and feels out of place compared to the rest of the series
There's no definitive agreed upon cutoff but yeah the later seasons were terrible barring a few exceptions. Some people regard it as a show that was 10/10 its entire run but that's not even remotely the case
I actually kinda think Pygmalion is a pretty good ending in a weird twilight way if you imagine Peggy and Luann actually died that night 🙁 there are only a handful of good episodes after that
Not only that but right before hes ground up he gets zapped and you find out that he's been suffering some mental disorder thats causing him to act psychotic.
It's a below par episode that came out when the show was still very good. There's dozens of worse eps from the later seasons but nobody cares about those because they blend together. Same reason people always bring up That's Lobstertainment when discussing worst Futurama episodes

But yet you somehow can't give your women an orgasm. Funny that.
I can already feel this devolving into a Bill thread. What’s the worst thing he ever did on the show? >saddest most pathetic
It’s a tie between digging pot holes to physically injure a woman, which is creepy enough, but then completely fricking himself up in his own trap because he has such poor constitution and coordination from years of of being sedentary, then has to listen to Boomhauer frick her… OR the Santa Claus episode. I just don’t get why he didn’t at least wash the Santa suit (obviously he does eventually and that’s how he meets the grifting teenager) but to wait to long and be so gross of a human. That bounce house was probably filthy too >shittiest or just being a shitty person
The weightlifting episode. It’s like any time he gets good at something he turns into an insufferable pile of shit and let’s people that don’t actually care about him take advantage of him
>saddest, most pathetic
It has to be when he pretended to be Lenore. He wasn't suffering from a psychotic delusion. He was so desperate for attention that he abandoned all dignity and pretended to be delusional. It funny as frick tho
Unironically, that's what trannies normally are. For some , when you can't get the partner you want, the mentally unstable are driven to become what they could never have.

Surprised it took you guys this long to express your personal bias against trans people. Seems like someone could be a psychotic murderer and you wouldn't care but if they want to express themselves in a normal healthy way, you people throw a huge hissy fit
I love the miniatures island episode. Hank navigating wrangling old ladies and also dealing with (at the time) MTV youth culture was fricking awesome. One of my favorites.
Adding to that, the Thanksgiving episode with the lawnmower focus group is amazing. Some of the things Cotton says about Tilly are so fricking hysterical.
Like that one for example.
Why is Tilly madder at Hank than she is at Cotton? Every other episode, Hank is punished for trying to help her too much but this time she's actively mad at him for not taking sides.
Hanks not supposed to navigate it at all. Yeah, I get that it's good for someone to defend their mother, but a mother is supposed to also understand that it's not easy for a child to play sides between parents.
Especially when both of them fricked up Hank.
Rewatch Escape from Party Island. When Cotton is smashing dishes like a maniac, Tilly is just spacing out and their child is totally confused and left adrift without either parent to go to. The rest of that episode is Tally taking everyone's side against Hank.
Later it turns out she cheated on the one guy she was with, with her next boyfriend in the Honeymooners and Hank is treated like an butthole again for worrying about her safety.
Seriously, frick that b***h.
Cotton is far worse than Tilly dude. She wasn’t perfect, but Cotton rained hell on them both. Hank is a grown ass man, yes he should tell cotton to shut the frick up.

Again with the person bias against trans people. You guys have a problem. You people will call it the "worst episode ever" just because their is a transgender person in it even if the episode was average to great you people would still target it more than any other episode.
>Hank, you remember my 15 year old daughter that you met once? She wants you to give the speech at the biggest party of her young life! Órale! SALMON IN THE FISH TACOS HANK!
most contrived plot
The flood episode is probably one of the most annoying the old lady one would take the cake only it has a resolution where Hank basically has every one come over and saying “okay if you don’t mind her dying in your house than you can watch he talk about death and die here”
You got it. Hank is a pure DIY-er, so having to have someone come in to fix his shit was humiliating to him, he was aggressive to the repairman who supposedly knew more than him and that's why Lady Bird picked up on it and became aggressive herself.
The plot is a bit silly overall but I am a huge sucker for media where the whole thing is the setup for one big punchline. Read Ethan Frome if you want an example.
>but the security guard said I was fired >then that security guard is fired >no mr stricland please i don- >TOO LATE HE'S FIRED
First one that comes to mind
He's a dumb fricking hillbilly with no ambition who expects to live the rest of his life off of a $53,000 settlement he got for slipping on peepee at the Costco.
Because he's a 38 year old layabout that literally fell ass backwards into money then married a smoking hot 22 year old with huge breasts and gained a loving, supportive family.
Hate him if you ain't him.
i always disliked this one >Bill finds something that brings him joy and helps him meet new friends and get in shape >Hank shits on him >Bill assaults a doctor in front of Hank for being rude >Hank is okay with this
in fact, there's a lot of episodes where Hank shits on Bill when he finds a new hobby >powerlifting episode >men's choir (though it's mostly Dale)
why is he such a c**t?
Hank at his worst is the episode where Bill wants a roommate. >Bill wants a roommate, Hanks says he wont allow it. >Hank decides to screen candidates but refuses to let Bill have an attractive woman move in with him. >Hank forces Bill to rent a roon to Principal Moss who is a degenerate just like Bill >when Bill and Moss clearly aren't getting along, Hank just ignores the problem and avoids Bill >Bill gets in who he originally wanted, gets cucked and now has criminal activity operrating out of his house and Hank STILL ignores it despite Bill's safety and wellbeing now being in danger >Bill has to resolve the problem himself >Hank who helped this shit happen, throws in a smug "I told you so" at the end >Bill still forever alone
I think "Bill Gathers Moss" is a good candidate for worst episode ever.
They should have let him end up with Charlene. A pretty but over the hill party girl with two kids is like a prize for Bill plus it would make for an interesting dynamic with Dale thinking someone else is raising his child. Bill becoming tired of her and her children didn't really ring true for me, felt a bit too convenient though I guess John Redcorn gets a happy ending.
Do you know what the best ending would've been? Him ending up with Reverend Stroup. I think him getting bored of her was really out of character. It pisses me off in a show that actually does status quo changes that they kept leaving Bill miserable despite him being the kindest character in the cast.
Oh well, it's a cartoon from 15 years ago, I need to calm down.
>powerlifting episode
He's supportive of Bill right up until Bill takes it too far and then he's the one that recognises Bill needs help and intervenes. >men's choir (though it's mostly Dale)
He's supportive of Bill right up until Bill takes it too far and risks losing his job and intervenes. >why is he such a c**t?
He's not.
I love that episode though. It all turns out to be fake and Bill has to own the fact that he’s just a slovenly pile of human garbage and it’s no one’s fault but his own lol
Racist Dawg predicted the BLM circlejerk by several decades
Interestingly enough Kahn becomes friendlier as Hank becomes more of an idiot.
It's remarkable how much Kahn develops later on. I love the episodes where Bill fricks his Mom, he becomes a Karaoke star to break free from his stepdad, and the "finale" where he loses his mind building the grill for Hank.
>He doesn't know
If you're fighting a group of people it's great to know who supports and who opposes them and you. SEA was insane during WWII, my Great Grandpa fought in the CBI in WWII.
Debbie was so hot. They had no reason to design her so sexy.
>I just had phone sex
Carolyn is a drag queen, not transgender. Those are not equivalent
It's amazing how much the point is missed with that episode and the one with Dale's Dad
missed the point entirely.
Kahn is always haughty because of people's ignorance on asians.
Cotton, a man who has killed dozens of asians, and is an ultra conservative would also be anti-communist and therefore well versed in the Laotian conflict.
Kahn knows he couldn't bullshit Cotton and Kahn is scared for the first time.
Propaniacs is cringe-incarnate. No good jokes, handful of probably okay lines I can't remember because that episode SUCKIN' FRICKS
those three are pretty weird but propaniacs was an early weird one, season 4. i think all those were from season 10 or after

Your brain was fried before you even popped out of your mother's fat wide gaping pussy
It's the essence of the early 00s distilled. Play some Super Mario Sunshine with Iraq War casualty counts playing in the background and you get the same feeling
What’s one of the darkest moments in the show? I think Cotton taking the pistol to kill himself but having a change of heart after seeing baby GH is up there.
mike judge can't resist the urge to make a few episodes about cancel culture and transgenders, can't wait to hear about (certainly not going to watch it) hank learning to accept bobby as his daughter
That whole show is fricking unbearable.
I don't think I ever made it through a whole episode when it came up on tv even if there was absolutely nothing else on. So ugly, so boring, not even the hint of a joke or anything just an animated sitcom about impossibly boring people.
How come all the spergy YouTubers forget to place in their most hated list the Duke the cat episode, or the episodes where Dale gets a restraining order on Hank after cutting off his finger or the episode where Dale snitches on the feds to Hank? It has the same theme, Hank is really screwed over.
I agree with the first two.

Arlen flooder is kino. It's the best Hank was made into a victim for no reason episode. Pygmalion is great weird creepy episode and I wish they did more of them. KOTH hits high highs when it's good but it has a lot of episodes that are mid-to-shit.

Kahn has the best character arc in the entire show. We actually see him go from enemy, to frienemy, to friends with Hank. It’s really endearing.
It always throws me in later episodes when he'll join the guys in the alley for a beer.
I don’t know how anons feel about it here, but when it was revealed he was manic and took meds for it, everything made so much more sense
What does manic mean? Why does he have to take meds?
Bi-polar or sometimes borderline personality disorder. Extreme highs and lows and it takes a very specific wienertail of med doseage to manage it, person to person
brain chemistry does real, and kahn has a brain despite being from the ocean.
This was the episode that made me hate Peggy for good. I never liked her before but I hated her, she killed a man, doesn't matter if he was crazy
This is one of the only episodes after season 1 that had the original KOTH feel.
That doesn't make any sense
It feels like a S12 Simpsons script rewritten for KotH
No it doesn't moron. Quit talking out of your ass.
Regurgitated from an inobservant YouTube video essay sperg.
the dam ep is good. just because people were mad at hank doesnt mean the ep is bad
Nope. Frick those Black folk. Hank did nothing wrong. It's the worst episode. Same with the old lady trying to die in their house.
Like WTF? Why would people turn against Hank in this situation? Frick them Black folk. I wish he would just use propan3 to burn Arlen to the ground
>I don’t care for Pigmalion
I liked the dam flooding episode. Nah, I’d replace it with the episode where Bill looks for roommates. What a steaming turd
Kidneyboy and hamstergirl
Kinda like the flood episode. Hamster girl, Chuck Mangioni living in a megalomart, and the video game one were far worse
>Chuck Mangioni living in a megalomart,
whaaat
you're a crazy person
>A Dale episode is bad
Stop with that
What's so wrong with hamstergirl?
>Chuck living in Megalomart
that episode is fantastic
Nah Grand Theft Arlen is kino as frick and I wish there was a real KotH GTA clone. I'd play this shit out of a game where you can play as Dale and "exterminate" the gang population.
It's the only episode of any TV show I can think of that accurately depicted the joy of modding
It would be helpful if you had the episodes here in order by production code
I'd also add the one with the Canadians
why is pygmalion always talked about
>why is pygmalion always talked about
It's fricking insane? Especially for a show like KotH. Very memorable episode, love it or hate it.
Is there a agreed upon cutoff for seasons like with the Simpsons? Like I haven't watched much of the episodes after Tom Petty joins the cast, but if we're counting those, there was an episode involving MySpace I saw that was complete garbage

It's not a 10/10 series but it's closer than any American animated sitcom to that, which is why it's remained so popular and enduring
Also it was a Peggy/Luanne centric episode which doesn't help it
It gave me the feeling of a non-canon Halloween special like those Simpsons ones where they crank up the violence and cheesiness.
I actually kinda think Pygmalion is a pretty good ending in a weird twilight way if you imagine Peggy and Luann actually died that night 🙁 there are only a handful of good episodes after that
If there needs to be a cutoff I would say that episode where Kahn becomes a redneck, that's the episode where they introduced Lucky.
Peggy and Luanne watch a guy get turned into ground beef and barely respond to it.
Luanne is a moron and Peggy is a sociopath.
>[Character] is a sociopath
Why are you people like this? You nutjobs say that about every chracter
Not only that but right before hes ground up he gets zapped and you find out that he's been suffering some mental disorder thats causing him to act psychotic.
Had they not included that moment no one would care that he died.
Women move on faster than men
What are you talking about? They're horrified and traumatized. You're just being an autist
>Peggy makes jokes about Trip being a sausage
>Peggy calls it a "happy ending" verbatim
That's how people cope with trauma, through the use of humor.
I still can't believe Hank said this, very much a WTF moment rewatching this episode
It's a below par episode that came out when the show was still very good. There's dozens of worse eps from the later seasons but nobody cares about those because they blend together. Same reason people always bring up That's Lobstertainment when discussing worst Futurama episodes
It just ends bizarrely. If the didn't have him regain his sanity right before getting killed, it probably would go down easier.

>Hank, you remember my 15 year old daughter that you met once? She wants you to give the speech at the biggest party of her young life! Órale! SALMON IN THE FISH TACOS HANK!
most contrived plot
The flood episode is probably one of the most annoying the old lady one would take the cake only it has a resolution where Hank basically has every one come over and saying “okay if you don’t mind her dying in your house than you can watch he talk about death and die here”
Switch the flooder episode with Racist Dawg.
racist dog was kino because of the punchline
I don’t even remember what the punchline was. That Hank hates repairmen?
Hal had one in malcolm in the middle with the poker club
Also one of my favorite TV episodes
>It's because you're... professionals!
Most underrated episode? The answer is Buckley's Angel but I want to see how many of you get it wrong.
That episode is so good. And actually touching.
It really is a good episode.
It's the most 80s episode of KoTH, and I love it for that.
Also, it's probably the best Luanne episode.
>80s
wat
The show was from the late late 90s to most of the 2000s.
>Zoomer: The Post
Favorite Buck episode?
>but the security guard said I was fired
>then that security guard is fired
>no mr stricland please i don-
>TOO LATE HE'S FIRED
First one that comes to mind
The two parter where Hank thinks he killed Debbie
Debbie was so hot. They had no reason to design her so sexy.
Ben Stiller
I love that episode for establishing Dale's morality
MAH DADDY'S HAVIN A HEART ATTACK
MAH DADDY'S HAVIN A HEART ATTACK
MAH DADDY'S HAVIN A HEART ATTACK
Yer daddy already tried that.
Luanne deserved better
Why do people hate lucky so much?
He's a dumb fricking hillbilly with no ambition who expects to live the rest of his life off of a $53,000 settlement he got for slipping on peepee at the Costco.
He's so easy-going, I love Lucky after his first appearance. Good natured, believing Peggy.
>solid, liquid, and gel
Lucky does the impossible later on of making Luanne episodes good
Because he's a 38 year old layabout that literally fell ass backwards into money then married a smoking hot 22 year old with huge breasts and gained a loving, supportive family.
Hate him if you ain't him.
I concur
i always disliked this one
>Bill finds something that brings him joy and helps him meet new friends and get in shape
>Hank shits on him
>Bill assaults a doctor in front of Hank for being rude
>Hank is okay with this
in fact, there's a lot of episodes where Hank shits on Bill when he finds a new hobby
>powerlifting episode
>men's choir (though it's mostly Dale)
why is he such a c**t?
Hank hates anything that disrupts the Rainey Street status quo.
Hank at his worst is the episode where Bill wants a roommate.
>Bill wants a roommate, Hanks says he wont allow it.
>Hank decides to screen candidates but refuses to let Bill have an attractive woman move in with him.
>Hank forces Bill to rent a roon to Principal Moss who is a degenerate just like Bill
>when Bill and Moss clearly aren't getting along, Hank just ignores the problem and avoids Bill
>Bill gets in who he originally wanted, gets cucked and now has criminal activity operrating out of his house and Hank STILL ignores it despite Bill's safety and wellbeing now being in danger
>Bill has to resolve the problem himself
>Hank who helped this shit happen, throws in a smug "I told you so" at the end
>Bill still forever alone
I think "Bill Gathers Moss" is a good candidate for worst episode ever.
That ending where he's watching TV and looks around and realizes he's all alone and starts laughing was really weird. Easily top worst episode for me.
And it was the last Bill-centric episode ever produced, his character deserved better.
Let him be with Ann Richards or Leoma at least.
He's not.
anything with nancy and john redcorn.
>runs a tank through a city
>destroys an entire water tower
>nothing comes of this
this is when koth jumped the shark
I love that episode though. It all turns out to be fake and Bill has to own the fact that he’s just a slovenly pile of human garbage and it’s no one’s fault but his own lol
would you?
I almost wanted him to since having the viewers knowledge about Nancy and redcorn
Nancy didn't deserve Dale
Been there and no.
Its not a decision you regret either.
>Uh dad this here's my new neighbor
>He's Japanese
>No he ain't!
>...
>He's Laotian! Ain't you Mr. Kahn?
hearty kek every time
>FETCH ME A MUAY THAI MR. KHAN
Racist Dawg predicted the BLM circlejerk by several decades
It's remarkable how much Kahn develops later on. I love the episodes where Bill fricks his Mom, he becomes a Karaoke star to break free from his stepdad, and the "finale" where he loses his mind building the grill for Hank.
>muay thai
Lol that’s martial arts anon. Mai Tai is the drink.
>C'MON GREASE MONKEY, LET'S TANGLE!
Why is cotton an expert in asian people. He only killed japs?
>He doesn't know
If you're fighting a group of people it's great to know who supports and who opposes them and you. SEA was insane during WWII, my Great Grandpa fought in the CBI in WWII.
>I just had phone sex
It's amazing how much the point is missed with that episode and the one with Dale's Dad
Apparently WWII soldiers were educated on how to identify various Asian ethnicities.
he skipped casual racism and went for competitive racism
He has yellow fever, that makes you an expert on identifying different types of Asians. I'm sure Junichiro isn't Hank's only hapa half brother.
missed the point entirely.
No good jokes, handful of probably okay lines I can't remember because that episode SUCKIN' FRICKS
those three are pretty weird but propaniacs was an early weird one, season 4. i think all those were from season 10 or after
I think you mean “Propane Maniacs”.
No, you're wrong, moron. Next time, think before you reply to others.
>t. has never seen the episode in question
You've never seen a pussy so what the frick do you know?
He was referencing Peggy’s indignant name for the group you putz
Wrong. You don't know anything do you?
Why are you posting in a KotH thread if you’ve never seen the show. That’s Jimmy Witchard-tier.
You don't know shit about this show, so quit doubling down. You got called out. Now admit you're wrong and move on. No reason to further humiliate yourself.
>That’s Jimmy Witchard-tier.
go back to Cinemaphile, moron
>t. fried his brain one day from staring at the sun for too long
Your brain was fried before you even popped out of your mother's fat wide gaping pussy
>*Enhances your King of the Hill experience*
Why do playing GB, GBC, and GBA games and listening to King of the Hill in the background go so well together?
It's the essence of the early 00s distilled. Play some Super Mario Sunshine with Iraq War casualty counts playing in the background and you get the same feeling
Is that a Game Boy? That's a vidya game.
I realize no one’s talking about Returning Japanese. I love those episodes.
>dad, i am not a pump jo--
>PUMP JOCKEY
>...dad, i do not w--
>WORKS FOR TIPS
Which episode is the pinpoint moment where the series went downhill?
Luanne going back to cutting hair
None of them, the show never had a strong cutoff point like The Simpsons with S9E2 or Family Guy with S10E2
The Japanese two parter is a good stopping point. It hangs on for a bit into season 7, but the quality starts dropping fast
Generally speaking when Lucky started being a major character, but even at its lowest KOTH is still kino and never sinks as low as The Simpsons
Or any sitcom for that matter.
I'd argue it's the best and most consistent sitcom ever made.
What’s one of the darkest moments in the show? I think Cotton taking the pistol to kill himself but having a change of heart after seeing baby GH is up there.
The superior one
Are they really going to do this reboot still? Half the cast is dead.
mike judge can't resist the urge to make a few episodes about cancel culture and transgenders, can't wait to hear about (certainly not going to watch it) hank learning to accept bobby as his daughter
Hank Hill AI song covers are unironically good
>he left out the best one
That whole show is fricking unbearable.
I don't think I ever made it through a whole episode when it came up on tv even if there was absolutely nothing else on. So ugly, so boring, not even the hint of a joke or anything just an animated sitcom about impossibly boring people.
>not even the hint of a joke
You may be moronic. Almost every line contains a joke of some sort.
BE AY BAY
BE AY BO
BE AY BICKEY BYE BE BO BO
The frick you saying? Speak english moron
You don’t belong in this thread you fricking giblet-head
How about you learn english rajesh. Maybe if you did, you wouldn't be crashing boats into bridges like the brown reject moron you really are
I really hope this is a samegay, because I hate to think there are two people this moronic in one thread
Nice deflection rajesh
>Gets called out
>"y-your a samegay"
Midwit tier
Given your selection it seems like you just don’t like when people are upset with Hank or don’t listen to him in a confrontational way
>Connie's cousin from Los Angeles
>that season 1 episode where the child protection services guy thinks Hank is abusive
What mental illness causes someone to hijack a cozy KOTH thread with moronic shitposting
>Boo hoo Im a victim muh cartoons Im being prosecuted
Shut the frick up and quit acting like some little pussy
Dude, I agree with you in concept, but don't pretend you are any more normal than anyone else on this website
i think its deliberate to get people to angrily reply and thus bump the thread
i bet he knows more koth than everyone ITT
I remember really disliking the episode with Henry Winkler and Peggy's mom but I can't remember why.
>BO BA BEE DE
>HURR DURR DUN DUN
>DO DO DI DI HURR DURR
See, I can act like a complete moron too
Pigmallion is the worst episode
Filtered.
Braindead buzz word obsessed moron
How come all the spergy YouTubers forget to place in their most hated list the Duke the cat episode, or the episodes where Dale gets a restraining order on Hank after cutting off his finger or the episode where Dale snitches on the feds to Hank? It has the same theme, Hank is really screwed over.
>Dale gets a restraining order on Hank after cutting off his finger
That one's hilarious though. I agree the duke the cat one is bad.
What is the message supposed to be of Hank getting screwed and cucked by the government or his community?
DUSTY OLD THREAD
FULL OF GREEN TEXT
Why didn't Hank, a Texan, just brutally murder the old woman as she was tresspassing?
He didn't own a gun. Based Bobby had one though.
