I tuned out when they said that corny prequel recap with the generic epic score and terrible edits was cool. This series is everything they said they hated about Star Wars.
If they ever admit that the Sequel content is worse than the Prequel content (particularly since the critiques popularized by the Plinkett reviews undeniably guided the creative process of the Sequel content) they will experience ego death.

I kind of agree with them in that sense, in that, look....star wars is fricking dead, it has been for some time. It kind of goes without saying that anything from here on out is just going to be disney doing weird shit with its corpse. So, no, it's not technically good...but...for what the show is, it's maybe slightly better than can be expected...? It's a terrible show yeah, but some things here and there are enjoyable, and that's way more than you can really hope for given the situation of this franchise.
So in that respect, it's kind of hard to give a conventional review, it'd be like seriously trying to give a review to some ADHD addled, poorly socialized kid's drawing on the kitchen wall that's been done in feces. There's just too many problems with the whole situation to call it a drawing for one. So you kind of just have to look at the positive in that at least he didn't strangle the cat to death before the kitchen shit painting this time. In short, star wars has become a really ugly, fricked up situation that nobody in their right mind can take seriously, or view as an actual piece of art or entertainment, and you're left in this weird limbo upside down world where you just have to appreciate what you can about it.
