Everything after supremacy is try hard fanfiction tier riding on the wave of its predecessor's success.
And still for some reason everyone thinks the 3rd one is just as good.

the Damon movies are a completely different story from the book and the older film. the just took the premise of a dude waking up with no memory and finding a Swiss deposit box address sewn into his thigh. hard to compare it.

it wrapped the story up in a forced and subpar way

the story is moronic anyways and barely qualifies as an excuse for the action sequences. some set pieces in Ultimatum were really nice, the scene where he guides the journalist through the train station while fricking up the glowies was one of the best in franchise.

how are super spies trained to circumvent an intricate system of 100's of interactive cameras in one of the most surveilled places on the planet?

            >no answer
            i'm shocked
see that's the problem with all you reddit gays liking ultimatum as a 3rd installment after 2 excellent intelligence driven spy movies
The intelligence aspect has been completely retconned for cheap and mildly entertaining action scenes.
You're as guilty as the woke-crowd that keeps assuring Marvel is at the top of the box-office. Because you morons are representative of the status quo which has deteriorated so fast you didn't even get the memo.
You now make up for what's to come and it's all brain dead, and you will never even understand.
You're literally a lesser form of humanity.

as opposed to what, a Treadstone asset repelling into a window and starting a fist fight with Bourne instead of sniping him? Bourne finding the last agent in Supremacy using his mind powers, because he just teleports into his house when the plot demands it? Bourne freely travelling around Europe despite being on every wanted list and his glowie passports being compromised? thats just of the top of my head, I remember I noticed dozens of moronic things in the movies back when I watched them.
Bourne movies were never intelligence driven lmao, it's been fun action schlock since Identity.

                >Treadstone asset repelling into a window and starting a fist fight with Bourne instead of sniping him
                don't know about that one
the director said it was a last minute change and i agree with you
                > Bourne finding the last agent in Supremacy using his mind powers
this was explained it the origin script where the agent was involved in Bourne's 1st mission
but i still don't understand how he managed to contact his friends before Bourne even confronted him
anyway, excellent sequence and as worthy of dissension of disbelief as i've ever seen in a movie. It's a lot of fun t watch and relatively very minor plot-holes in comparison to what the 3rd movie tries to sell you

I find the sight of Matt Damon annoying, for some reason. maybe it's residual anger from how shit that Good Will Hunting movie was and how I'll never get the time back I wasted watching it. Just looking at him annoys me.

1 is best cinematography wise, it has cute woman, cute little lovestory and zurich escape is kino. 2 is where new director's style starts showing and is still good, but doesn't have that many super memorable and cool scenes. 3 is just extatic climax.

It's perfect as a trilogy, you tard. They should have just left it alone after that. A Bourne movie without Bourne and a fifth movie 9 years later is something nobody wanted.

I never even saw it. I was done by that point. I did watch the Jeremy Renner one and it was okay but completely unremarkable. It almost felt like it was a script for another movie that was re-written so they could slap the Bourne name on it.
