They should rename OP to his parents error.
you could say 'Human Resources Hiring pilots error'
This wouldn't happen irl there are too many safety precautions on planes
it literally has happened multiple times
Afraid not pal
There are numerous safety precautions in place to prevent anything like what’s shown in the show from happening.
True
It's not always pilot error though. That being said
>it's a female pilot episode
Yeah, you know it's going to be pilot error.
>crack shows up on plane fuselage
>just cover it with a sheet of metal bro
>20 years later plane explodes in mid-air
>they should rename this show to "pilot error"
Any and all problems can be solved by de-icing the pitot tubes.
>pilot is an butthole
>scares his rookie copilot so bad he doesn't speak up when the pilot makes an error
>just let's him crash into a mountain
>pilot forgets what direction North is and doesn't realize that he's off course until some hours later and just crashes into a jungle
God there's so many more, I binged all of them on Paramount Plus.
how many seasons are on paramount? disney+ here only has seasons 12-18
It has 8 seasons but it starts at 5 and skips 6 and 7 and the next season is 8 and it might skip a few more but at season 11 it goes from that all the way to 16. Also paramount has boat disasters which is also pretty bleak
OH and we can't forget
>Captain just forgets to retract flaps before take off so they just crash into a fuel tank at the end of the runway and explode
Or
>Captain forgets to extend flaps before landing so they can't slow down in time and crash into a fuel tank at the end of the runway and it explodes
They should really think about relocating that fuel tank. Seems like an unnecessary hazard
>computer flight plan changed before flight and somebody forgot to tell pilots
>257 dead, no survivors
flight plan changed before flight and somebody forgot to tell pilots
>>257 dead, no survivors
That was intentional sabotage.
How different is this compared to Air Disasters on the Smithsonian Channel? Are they the same?
same show
>*fricks up your autopilot*
>psssh... nothin personnel... пaпa...
>Despite the struggles of both pilots to save the aircraft, it was later concluded that if they had just let go of the control column, the autopilot would have automatically taken action to prevent stalling, thus avoiding the accident.
>fricking eldar
>it's a the wienerpit just falls off the plane at 10'000 feet in the air episode
The front fell off?
heh heh
Are we going to see more aircrash kino in our lifetime due to diversity hires fricking everything up?
Yes, white boomer captains are retiring in massive numbers this decade
That being said the autopilot and ATC is so good now that it makes it very difficult to frick up
>passengers didn’t clap after take off
>All 219 onboard killed
Damn nature you scary!
http://planecrashinfo.com/lastwords.htm
>this confuses and infuriates the russian pilot
maintenance error
>Just have the spliced plate be in one piece bro
Fricking backseat mechanics
The top is emgineering, the bottom is cargo cult ritual.
>man does shit so severe a transatlantic flight has to turn around after 30 minutes
thankfully there were no serious injuries
>ground crew member sneezes
>2 weeks later plane crashes no survivors
I feel it's mostly "ground engineer/maintenance worker error"
>stamp the holes in stead of drilling them
>microfractures slowly expand
>planes start randomly exploding at high altitude after a while
>company goes to great lengths to find out what is happening
>find it out by putting a fuselage into a big water tank imitating pressurization
>company goes bankrupt anyway
And this is how they started to turn every catastrophic failure into a learning experience.
Only with an Airbus episode. Boeing is always a malfunction.
I got into a good airline training academy but I feel like the reality of being a pilot would suck major ass.
>there's very clearly a guy who fricked up, but the show tries to play it as "everyone is blameless, it was just a misunderstanding, our new regulations fixed it"
>engine plate was manufactured with invisible microfracture
>ten years later plate explodes mid flight
>fragments happen to sever both hydraulic systems
>plane can't be steered anymore
>only thrust balance can turn plane
>pilots manage to land the thing anyway with no casualties
>Watch the episode about the Munich Air Disaster
>They tried to take off multiple times and barely avoided crashing after skidding on the ice
>Tried again and killed half the passengers
What did they mean by this? Was the pilot a Liverpool fan?
the only pilot error crashes in the last couple decades are from women and poc pilots. just a friendly reminder next time you fly to check the pilot.
