The transgender community is a cult because it's built on the concept that there are "boy hobbies" and "girl hobbies" and that boys who enjoy "girl hobbies" must be girls at heart. But that's a false premise. Boys can enjoy "girl hobbies" just fine without calling themselves girls or being called girls. Once you realize that this is a fake limitation imposed on people through sexist stereotypes, the entire "transgender" ideology falls on its face. It becomes apparent that there's no need or reason to "identify" as anything other than what you were born as unless you're a bigot who thinks boys aren't allowed to wear makeup. The concept of "transgender" is inherently harmful and dishonest. It's a shallow fad built on the lie described above. It only came into existence less than 100 years ago, and soon it will be gone for the same reason we don't do lobotomies anymore. People are realizing how monstrously destructive it is. It only exists because of self hatred. If people were taught to love themselves they would learn that actual acceptance and expression comes from the defiance of stereotypes, while the transgender fad entrenches us further into stereotype territory. People should be taught that the way they were born is perfectly fine and doesn't need to be changed. The transgender fad does damage actual LGB people by enforcing these stereotypes, by gaslighting young people into thinking their "real self" is hidden behind drugs and surgery and it harms real women by allowing confused men to attack women under the guise of "fighting for equal rights".
