>somehow they managed to get christopher reeves family to ok Warner bros to 3D scan his dead corpse
I know thats not really what happened but itd be funny if they did
Seems like they stopped that it seems after Endgame. He was suppose to appear in No Way Home based on the script for it. A lookalike was going to be used. They also denied a Simpsons cameo with Loki. Though, that's going the Stan Lee cameo list quickly. There might be stuff he has appeared in that isn't MCU exclusive.
lol what is this new performative outrage over dead people? who cares? the families have to sign off on it
I don't get it
i don't have any moral problem with it but it's pretty fucking creepy, they're like zombie actors. your brain can feel the inauthenticity no matter how real they make it look.
Here's Reeve saying Brando took the money and ran on Letterman. He's not a worshipper at the Altar of Brando. He called him indifferent and said he just doesn't care. He seemed like a sweet guy. He comes across as a teetotaler. And as stuck to the part of Superman as the actors who play Bond are to Bond. Brando part starts at 5.50.
>Leaked footage is never the most flattering format, but as someone who has actually seen The Flash, I can confirm the cameo really is that unpleasant—both aesthetically and conceptually.
>During a montage of alternate universes, we see various versions of DC heroes: Nic Cage as Superman, George Reeves and Adam West (both deceased) as Superman and Batman, and a couple of shots of Christopher Reeve standing beside Helen Slater’s 1980s Supergirl. Reeve’s appearance is hollow and lifeless; essentially an extended reaction shot in front of an ugly CGI backdrop.
>Although Reeve’s estate presumably gave Warner Bros. permission to use his likeness, it’s still understandable for viewers to feel grossed out. Not just due to the inherent weirdness of digital necromancy, but because the scene itself feels so cynical.
>The magic of Reeve’s Superman lay in his charismatic, emotive performance, and it’s insulting to suggest this deepfake simulacrum is the same guy. The Flash’s creative team clearly understood this to some extent, because they didn’t try to make “Superman” do anything meaningful onscreen. His cameo exists purely as a delivery mechanism for nostalgia.
At least there they tried, had an actor that looked like him read lines and stuff and play his character before his face got plastered over. Not some complete CGI action figure doll that sits there and poses for the camera for nostalgia bait alone.
>tfw both he and his wife died within 2 years of each other from horrific causes >tfw only father figure their son had left was Robin Williams who killed himself 8 years later
more like slightly shaking his head
Even that still from the movie looks terrible
What Cameo?
Christopher Reeve as Superman

Subway Marine.
Doesn't Marvel still use Stan Lee's image to make cameos even after he's died?
That's different Marvel does it with class, DC is disrespectful

Yeah, if they okayed it, it should be fine.
The director/filmmakers confirmed they got the okay
>not moving heaven and earth to have Christian Bale come back instead instead of Clooney
Considering bale was happily in Thor 4, I don’t think it would take much to convince him

>I don't get it
Wait until your brain develops.
it's developed, what am I supposed to be mad about?
Boo hoo nagger
It's just something for miserable people to latch onto so they can justify their bitching and moaning.
The more bitching, the more they are deterred from doing it.
shalom goys!

The whole point of the Flash movie was for The Flash to Flash his israeli nutsack. You either didn't see it or you did. That's it, the end.

God, Reeve was so damn sharp and charismatic. He could've been great for decades. That damn horse.
Yeah. Saw that movie with the guy who sits in a wheelchair during summer and sees the neighbour commit. They remade that movie a bunch of times.
Who is the author quoting ?
A sneeder troon
Ok

>digital necromancy
I like that.
if this was Marvel they wouldn't be doing this lol, but because it's DC they're acting like someone was actually murdered
pathetic
>include look a like of dead actor in his most well known role
REEEEEEEE DIGITAL NECROMANCY!!!!!!! RREEEEEEEEE!
Where was the outrage for the ghoulish Peter Cushing CGI in Rogue One?
