The reason all of the gay shit is so funny with Mac in the early seasons isn't because he's a a closeted gay man, it's specifically because he ISNT gay. He went for the troony despite clearly hating the dick, but since he's so desperate for any kind of attention he still went with it. Same goes for the coach they thought molested kids, Mac isn't gay yet he was trying to get molested all because he never had a father figure and desperately wants any kind of attention from anywhere.

Like the discrete cartoon parts slapped together VS a solid foundation with some quirks in your picrel
