Sure Raven in the comics was conceptualized as weird looking sometimes, unlike the 2003 which made her a cute goth, but she still had some basic charm in the eighties.
He has grown up several times before in the comics throughout all the damn reboots, sooner or later they just de-age him. Beast Boy is just much of a inconic name for them to go back to Chageling, or they are too scared to use the adult hero names Gar has in Elseworld stories where he grew up, like Animal or Menagerie.

I want to assume she has matching lampshades on both tables, and the artist just complete forgot the left-hand one in the last panel. Everything else is completely true though.
Wouldn't he just shape shift his body hair as he wants? He could baby smooth on Raven's command to remind her of their ss days and hairy when hes out n about.
