3 is the best, 2 is too much of a boring soap opera. 3 is action packed and hilarious

Its the same people coping that literal side characters are better than the main love interest.

Fpbp, 3 is definitely the best followed very closely by 1, and then that’s followed closely by 2

3 is dogshit. Anyone who says 3 is good hasn’t watched it within the past 5 years. It’s convoluted, and poorly executed. Also, since it was the last one in the trilogy, I suspect the writers rushed it and didn’t put a lot of heart into it because they didn’t have to worry about selling a fourth one, and they just wanted to move on to other projects. If someone handed me a pen and paper and told me to write the script for Spider-man 3, I could’ve done as good or a better job if I was merely only 10

I watched 2 years ago and it was a blast. I also find it funny that you think it would be worse in retrospect, as if Hollywood has improved their capeshit movies since lol

You're right, Spider-Man 2 is unironically the best superhero movie of all time.

3 is kino and a pleb filter. And I watched 3 just last year.

I watched SM3 not long ago and was amazed by how well the sfx hold up. The CGI looks better than anything in The Avengers

I agree, and that's shocking giving how flawed it is. I never liked the psychological-power-loss story point because it undermined the themes of responsibility and choice.

Honestly I prefer 1. It has the best balance of all the elements. Peter in 2 is an insufferable homosexual, plus they overused cgi in combat and it shows, looks like shit sometimes. 3 holds up better from a technical point of view, and if it weren't some some retarded things like the dance scene it would be remembered as fondly as 2.

      The dance scene is kino.

No it was fucking ass cancer. I can live with emo Peter, who's actually a fitting addition considering the tone of the movies, but the dance is 5 minutes of cringe. No amount of ironic appreciation can save that. I have no idea of what Raimi was smoking when he decided to do that.

The dance scene isn't retarded. The reason 3 sucked was because it was too much going on. I know Raimi wanted to do sandman but honestly that was the worst aspect of the film and it would've been better without any sandman stuff at all. The black suit made the film what it is.

        >too much going on
Relatively so, I think it starts getting too packed in the last act when all arcs need to wrap up and it does feel rushed, but for the most part it's fine.

He was thinking it would be kino.
You have to at least admit the bit where he grabs Gwen's thigh is hot.

    Mary Jane:
    >Spiderman 1 - MJ is with flash and then Harry for 99.9% of the movie. Ending Peter cucks himself from getting used goods
    >Spiderman 2 - MJ dating a literal who for a majority of the movie
    >Spiderman 3 - MJ acts like Peter dosen't have a life the dosen't revolve around her. Probably cheated on him with Harry
    >Worst girl, hands down.
    Gwen Stacy (Tasm)
    >TASM 1 - Immediately makes it obvious she is into Peter, helps make the Lizard cure. Is still with Peter by the end of the movie, both have amazing and believable chemistry
    >TASM 2 - Is okay with Peter taking a break to sort out his feelings and wanting to protect her, has her own life and education she wants to focus on and is overjoyed Peter wants to join her, helps beat Electro, in deleted MJ scenes Gwen was okay with Peter potentially moving on and gives MJ her blessings to pursue Peter, only "breaks up" with Peter cause Harry killed her.
    >Best girl, and still is to this day.
Why was Raimi so shit at writing Spidey's love interests?

Raimi MJ while I would have preferred the traditional one, adds to the realism that relationships are not clean and perfect. Also adds to Peter's kinda shitty life that he has to pick himself up from and be a hero which makes him cooler.

You know I used to share this opinion but after my most recent re watch I'd say one is the best Spider-Man movie. The fight with Green Goblin at the end is just too kino.
    >Amazing fight that actually pushes the hero to his limits
    >"I had a father. His name was Ben Parker.
    >Over powers Goblin because he loves MJ so much
    >Glider to the dick "Don't tell Harry"

I love how half the movie is just Peter trying his very best but still always coming up short. Really relatable and shows that day-to-day life is hard even when you're a superhero.

At least Tobey and Andrew’s movies were actual Spider-Man films.

Tom Holland’s movies are just riding on the MCU wave and focused more on comedy than actual Spider-Man content.
