Arnold was just an actor who was inserted to complete the vision of others. Sly on the other hand was often actively on the production side. Arnold never created any kino like 'Rocky', just showed up and delivered the lines given to him.

Sly wins on Rocky alone. Throw in Cobra and it's no contest, especially with the deleted scenes. I like Arnold's stuff as well, but Rocky and Rambo First Blood are beyond anything Schwarzenegger did.
It's a shame that Stallone never made a movie with Arnold in the 80s. He is actually a pretty good director but never refined his talent outside of Rocky movies. Both of them in a movie together would've been an instant classic

sly's best movies have more meaning to them. even if they're just dressing to the action flick. arnold's movies are liked because of the special fx and everything else that makes a movie 'cool' ie. catchy quotes, great cinematic shots, and great plots
