There's an obsession with increasing productivity by insignificant amounts by sacrificing employee comfort. Workers need to stand for 8 hours straight and they get written up for sitting. It's about a loser call Center salesman regular nerdy Black person who puts on white voice while on calls and suddenly wildly successful
Unable to deal with the odd behaviour of white and black elitists as he rises through the ranks he now uses his white voice everywhere then while having a spat with his gf and taking a detour at work he accidentally stumbled across a plot of elites trying to genetically mutate Black folk into horses with giant wieners human animal hybrids then seek his help and he breaks them free causing chaos only for him to basically go back to being the same loser he was at the start of the movie with a little more experience and money and the same gf
I will say her sub-plot is meh glad she's barely in it.
It's a well made indie movie that pokes fun at uncle tom's and wiggers especially the scene where the mc tries to rap and fails horribly.
I was expecting a woke crapfest but it was surprisingly good pokes fun at all sides. I also like how he lives in his garage kek

Let me preface this by saying I actually really like black people. It doesn't bother me on a racial level that somebody's promoting this film. What I don't like, is your superficial interest in the film. Other people, white people have come into your threads and provided discussion. All you do is make the threads and say "it's really good" which is concerning. What makes it worthy of threads? It's not THAT much better than other movies. Good work with the main character but the supportive cast - the girlfriend, the friend and especially the asian guy felt very underdeveloped. Although the subject matters are vastly different i got similar vibes to Under the silver lake, UtSL was obviously weirder thought

I remember when this came out, there were a lot of shill articles analyzing it like it's some amazing work of folk art for Black folk and commies.
I went to a screening of this with a few friends in a packed theater and we were all genuinely shocked at the twist. I can usually predict where a film is going, but this is one of the few that surprised me. It reminds me a lot of Robocop.
